Abomination
I wonder what it means to be called an abomination
and if this has any relationship to being a damnation,
as there must be certain things that people do in deserving condemnation
which go against all reasonable human laws and are opposed to salvation.
If what has been handed down from the past is any indication
then we are somehow all obliged to follow with a dedication,
for our own sake and that of all our so called many relations
who are subject to the same weaknesses, trials and temptations.
To some it may seem there need not be any restriction
which will generally only incur a justifiable conviction
for any laws broken and usually dealt with a harsh sanction
when blame or guilt can be done away with by a transaction.
There are so many things people do without any justification
except to satisfy their own sense of individual expectation
especially where the actions done are without any provocation
against a fellow human being who’s an object of victimization.

A simple message Ma'am,
God loves you.
"Yes," she says, "I know."
Yet tears begin to flow.
How wicked is that plan
That condemns a man to God
And also God to man.
That condemnation does not cease,
And so often false believed,
Robs us of all heaven's peace.
When barked out condemnation
hits the ear of those who'd die,
not a one who would stop playing do
would ever hope to try.
Condemnation or Justification

Withdrawing harsh words might be our choice,
They leave us to passionately apologize at will.
To retract is no option once uttered by voice,
Because the impact persists in that heart still;
Frequently abrasive words are voiced in haste,
Leaving collateral damage on those unknown;
Like grenades they leave the landscape waste,
And we only remember the last one thrown.
All encompassed was my fear
Such consternation knew me well
A predeliction forced a tear
As apathy tolled alarm bell
With reverence I heard that chime
Unearthliness the peels rhyme
As condemnation fell
CONTENTION CONDEMNATION BLUES
Subject to continuation
I brought a life
I increase the price
A payment of forgiven sins for life
Living large
Heaven’s bars
I caught a rash
Sleeping on a sofa
Nuclear waste trash
In my eye alibi
Couldn’t tell in these times
If the person across the street a girl or a guy
Political up rises
Heavenly guidance
I isn’t a piece of nectar rye bread
Bread in the stomach jelly in my eyes
Strawberry, oatmeal in my shoes?

No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper Say your words and keep all your Oscars Brick shooting ain’ts in the paint Behold the heritage of the saints
I woke up this morning with a smile on my face
I lived in a world where there was no discrimination of any race
People smiled at me as I walked by
There was no jeering, no ugly incidents to make me cry
I was born this way
Like many others every day
I dream of a world in which hatred is strife
I pray for a day when people will respect life
Condemnation
I am condemned to eternal
Suffering
My crime:
I am able to love!

Binding, bloodied chains entrap my soul,
As pain surges through my body
His face is all I can see,
The cold, ice blue eyes that burn into mine
And his grim, somber expression
Conceals the terror, that so openly shows on my own
Bitter sweet sorrow lingers in the air
But his voice joins the others
As they condemn me, and his hands
Bind me in chains
Cutting my very heart and soul
Into a million pieces
He knows the truth, yet he binds and traps me
In my pain
The words of the guilty become as wounds
And the tears that fall,
Become as crimson drops of blood
Flowing from my body
And falling onto the granite stones
His resounding words rip out my heart,
And chafe my soul
But as my pain drowns out
The sound of painful accusations
I surrender to death
And take his ashen hands,
Following him into the unknown
The priest sat behind a mahogany desk,
his life in ruins, his life a mess,
he was once faithful to God,
and that faith took years to build,
but then certain feelings of guilt
ate at his insides,
his emotions rushing in like the tides,
now standing face to face
with frustration and condemnation,
he was such a disgrace,
and he lost all concentration,
as the answers to his questions were lies,
he’d wish his past just dies,
then he tried to justify, rationalize, compromise,
but what he did just defies!
Christ chose twelve apostles, not one,
He turned his back to God, now he’s done,
he felt that in forgiveness, there would be none,
his eyes fell,
gun fired,
as far as he could tell,
he just entered the gates to Hell.
I look at you in stark disgust
My 'gift' to you my lack of trust
In bitter taste of ash and dust
I ask you back away
In you a mirror's all I see
Returns the message back to me
A prison door without a key that
Blocks the light of day
