Condemnation

The priest sat behind a mahogany desk, his life in ruins, his life a mess, he was once faithful to God, and that faith took years to build, but then certain feelings of guilt ate at his insides, his emotions rushing in like the tides, now standing face to face with frustration and condemnation, he was such a disgrace, and he lost all concentration, as the answers to his questions were lies, he’d wish his past just dies, then he tried to justify, rationalize, compromise, but what he did just defies! Christ chose twelve apostles, not one, He turned his back to God, now he’s done, he felt that in forgiveness, there would be none, his eyes fell, gun fired, as far as he could tell, he just entered the gates to Hell.

Frank, I'm wondering exactly what this priest did to fall out of God's grace. And I certainly hope he wasn't messing around with young boys. (Did you see the movie "Doubt"?) In that case the priest was innocent, but the film was quite suspenseful because you didn't know until the last minute. Very powerful, and obviously thought-provoking! And thanks for your comments on "Playing Santa to Wall Street." To put it bluntly, I was pissed. Love, Carolyn

We make it way too hard to be a good person. Priests should have been allowed to marry a long time ago. This is a story of man judging man. Don't do it, don't judge, try hard not to, for every person who is right there's a person who's made to think they're wrong. It all just happens. We've been lied to for centuries and now as the media finds the truth, many are finding the truth lies within ourselves and not false prophets. How many feel guilt and how many have noconscience? We need to unite. God Bless. Vince
