Still the feel where I can't get to see him lingers
as an Emille bell —
piercing on my mind
like an echo.
Not the song.
Not the fame.
Just the bell.
The distance.
The sound.
It pierces my heart —
not being able to see him near.
Hiding.
Like the bell under the curve.
A raspberry is sweet—
yet seeing you leaves me fresh and sour,
regretting I didn’t find you sooner.
You make me pop when you smile,
like a golden retriever greeting the world
with pure joy.
You make me burst like confetti
the moment you show your heart.
You leave me wordless,
blank as white paper,
whenever you stick out your tongue.
You are rare as a blood moon
when your eyes open wide.
Will these sacred words ever reach you
before I leave this world?
This feeling crushes me gently—
like a raspberry pressed into juice,
slowly draining me,
yet never losing its sweetness..
We met beneath the soft and shifting light,
Two strangers caught within a sudden gaze,
The world fell quiet, turning from the night,
As autumn gold dissolved in summer’s haze.
The weeks flew by like birds upon the gale,
With every word, a deeper bond was spun,
No need for time to write a longer tale,
For in your heart, I found the only one.
Though seasons barely turned their heavy wheel,
Three months of grace were all we had to wait,
To set the sacred promise that we feel,
And seal our souls before the hand of fate.
In winter’s dawn, we stood to pledge our vow,
One life began, and here we flourish now.
I just want to look at you—
your blonde hair, poodle-like eyes,
that artistic nose,
and your soft, pouty lips.
You stir my heart like a cyclone,
stealing every thought I try to hold.
I want to hold your hand
and tell you—
I’ve kept this feeling buried deep,
like a hidden capsule in the soil.
I want to carry your burdens,
just to see you smile
a little brighter than before.
I want to pat your head
as you drift to sleep,
the way a mother soothes her child.
I want to trace your forehead,
to ease the worries you hide.
Will you look at me,
just once,
with those gentle poodle eyes?
I’d be happy
just to hold your artistic hands,
where our unspoken love
could finally be understood.
At the end of the world,
let it be just us—
laughing, forgetting,
leaning into each other’s warmth.
Just us,
and our love.
The gado* crashes past sweethearts'murals, hearts already broken,
Vapor groans like weary wraiths of last day' pledges,
Skins glow with Vaseline, faces lit by deceptive affection-
Who dares to feel?
Her fragrance wafts blending with metal breath,
We exchange looks, the calm betwixt us murmurs like power lines,
Outdoors, level plots fade in a murkiness of dirt and nostalgia-
I almost speak
But at Langlaagte* too soon she's gone with the throng,
Only the echo of her kindness marks my seat,
I scroll through unfamiliar smiles, phony love returns-
Between stations,hurt.
Gado--South African slang for train
Langlaagte--A train station in Johannesburg
The Uba flies,Sani Pass flickers under streetlights,
My chest aches with thought, lungs burn with reminiscence,
Sacrificing pride twists my mind with doubt, she lingers unseen-
I remain still
Mist owns Vrede,a sunless Free State night in autumn,
My pulse revolts, doubt gnaws the edges of determination-
I grip the door handle,heart rebelling,breath caught-
I order the driver back
Under the cherry blossoms, we stand,
Your hand in mine, soft as the sand.
The world is loud, yet here it’s still,
Our hearts in tune, our spirits thrill.
We giggle softly, sharing a look,
Like secret pages in a book.
Your laugh, a melody so sweet,
It makes my heart skip every beat.
The way you smile, the way time flies,
I see soft skies in your eyes.
They hold a world so calm and bright,
Like stars that sparkle through the night.
With every step, the world feels bright,
Like stars that twinkle through the night.
We’ll write our story, me and you,
Beneath a sky that’s always blue.
you remind me of
movies & jokes, only the best
kisses & naps, a well earned rest
you remind me of my favourite song
if loving you was right
then i
could never be wrong
The Waves
We walk along the shore together.
We stop, and look out upon the sea.
Words come to the surface,
and sink again,
unspoken.
You hold my hand,
and my heart hears the sound of music...
all around,
with no one nearby at all,
but the call of the seagulls in the distance.
The mermaids laugh watching us.
They know nothing of true love,
and yet pray they may someday,
touch the land,
and hear a band...
and then stand.
The dolphins swim by,
on their way to tomorrow.
They tease us, and please us
with their antics.
You laugh and break the silence between us,
the timbre, the resonance...
like a thousand pieces of fine glass,
raining down from the heavens
and changing the light of the rainbow
it created as it glanced off the surface
of each individual piece shaped
by the moment,
that can never be
repeated.
My soul is close to God,
when I am near to you.
He gave you to me,
so I would be complete.
I am on my knees
asking...
please...
stay a while,
stay as long as you can,
and take my hand,
into forever.
Enjoying myself, in a deserted world
Strolling down, unchaperoned.
Ran into someone,
Who knew he would be my heaven.
Eyes locked, piercing eachother's soul.
When realization hitted, sorrys are traded
Amplifying the beat, we left hoping to meet.
Days went, new semester began
Wanting some fun, destiny unified us.
Time passed, we fell for eachother's heart.
Finally! He confessed, "Beni sev", he demanded.
Tears spout their way down my cheek
Nodding like a tot, "NS" left my throat.
Laying on the grass, we gazed the stars.
Mumbling "Te quireo" he pulled me close
Those eyes, I fell for, staring mine with adorance.
Lips molded together,
Arms holding eachother
No lust, only love.
Replacing lacuna with warmth,
Euphoric feeling, engulfed around.
Had no taste of breeze
In my life
Till your boat arrived
At my shore.
In the dark night
Lonely i was,
Just like the moon
But then you came up
With all those stars,
To fill up my empty sky..
Alive i was before
But
You unveiled the liveliness
That was yet to explore.
You shook that tree
Filled with pink flowers
And made my road
Feel the season of spring.
I know no plans of fate
But if by chance u leave
Your footprints in my sand.
Then always keep those
Precious face filled with
Joy and your bright smile.
To be together,
As long as we have a chance,
A gift of bundle of memories
I wanna give to you,
All those, that will make you
Smile,
At the times you don't wanna smile!
A kiss a kiss, its only a kiss
Pucker up and try not to miss
A sign of affection and joy
When boy kiss girl, girl kiss boy
If its a peck on the cheek
Or a lip smacker you need
Makes you feel warm inside
And secretly make a big sigh
They say thats how it starts
But only you decide how far
Feeling that warm embrace
Eye to eye, face to face
Your lips slightly touch together
The feeling that nothing can better
A kiss a kiss, its only a kiss
Not only can make you feel this
You will know its perfectly right
When you're lips touch so tight
Smiles of true happiness
laughter proliferating within the night
Lust throughout the air
love at first sight
My heart starts beating faster
if the touch is just right
I can’t describe this feeling
when we hold each other tight
Feeling like we are last two on earth
alone to fight the fight
Caressing you ever so gently
on this moonlit evening night
Tranquillity has me feeling
my love so deep for you
Hoping in this moment
our passion will prove our truth
Hope you never leave
Hope I never go
Remembering in the end
That this love that we have built
will always shine and glow
I am talking about the first day to throw you away.
The day you hit me;
My bird took refuge in your secret house.
Both of us were in the trunk:
of the cemetery;
Both are very happy.
Then you were sucking my lips
Like an orange cell,
I think it would eat.
I kissed your whole body. Your nipple,
was very hard
I touched your breasts.
Tallow two balls.
You jerked eyes and bitten won lips
and said, "Ah!"
Then the became one two bodies.
The two souls joined together in the same spirit.
I still remember that day.
Great o lover
O lover!
You are great!
Now the illuminating of the Maghrib
By oath that Azan
Sworn Adam-Eve's;
By the oath of Safa-Marwah hills!
Excuse me!
O outstanding
O my guardian,
O my dear!
My head and then all respect;
O my dear Dedicated to your footsteps.
