The year-end creeps, mercuries freeze,
And buzz up English dictionaries,
All in a forward gear
To find Word of the Year,
Which, for Oxford is the slang rizz—
An argot not so clear,
Froth less, bubbleless beer,
Or a cola lost of all fizz!

Poet’s note: Rizz, this year’s Word of the Year, is a slang that means style, charm, attractiveness, ability to attract romantic or sexual partner, and a few more vague things as per Oxford University Press. Big deal!

At the World of Coca Cola
Were mementos by the score,
All of Coke-related products,
Bottles, cans and so much more.
There were posters from the 50’s,
Coke machines and pins and toys
And collectors’ items for the drink
Most everyone enjoys.
After watching little films and
Taking quizzes just for fun,
Our last stop was in the tasting room
Before the tour was done.
There we sampled many flavors
‘Til at last we’d had enough.
I would recommend a visit,
Though I never drink the stuff!

Don't ever vouch for drunk caffeine
That it can't one show one's coffin,
Now,my heart's calm rate quickening,
Later,taxed vessels weakening
Turns it out a search for a lift
But towards Descent final drift.
One begins to question its source;
A system is being moved with force.
The waiter in every cola:
Eaters it won't make a Zola;
Even one drags by the collar,
My best movement A Parabola!
What would you have stimulated;
Samson's bearing simulated?
At the sight of caffeine stiffen:
I'd stop a long chat or briefing.

Why slaying the stars
& rigorously binding their light
for listening ears under the mango tree
to frame folktales for midnight song,
make a geysers of yellowstone
carrying fresh fetch palm wine—
put their tongues to taste the juice,
to kiss the faces of roses.
I tell you, they aren't the equation
where xy=0
the shape of a doughnut
set orderly for rituals—
the contents of misery.
for their body won't be yours
to slice an orange
to fill your sac
after greasing their dreams with frost.

Tales and folktales binds
the mind's eye about firmly,
spearheading log of thoughts—
rock of words, after another
into bridges of unified force.
Father the ship on my head
fanning out memories between
the cracks of my torso why
I press myself under the sun
is s t r e t c h I n g to
kiss my toes after etching
a canvass of you in my mind.
If it is true that God restrict all mortals
from touching the personality of immortals
then maybe, I've a prayer
to pour into my memories
from portraying and plucking gloominess
& grief that holds 1000kg of botheration.

in traffic there is an accidie and weariness
and flatness and humdrum of the road
but leonard cohen helps with that
and i think about the poor north koreans
without their fix of coca cola
and the mental health of the finnish with
their billabong of coffee and caffeine flowing
out their ears and the best brand of water in china
has the biggest market reach and woodpeckers don't
get headaches because according to a
professional content provider they just don't
and speaking of the chinese
they've found a hut on the moon
some distance away from their rover; who can tell
who might be living in that hut
i look up out the windscreen at the moon
and imagine myself living in that hut
or maybe leonard cohen is living there now
and england have lost the first ashes test
and outside the hut is a scoreboard showing
australia need twenty runs to win
the hut has become a pavilion and there's plenty of
tea drinking going on
no finnish there pal
and someone shouts howssszat! across the galaxy
as asteroid 4660 nereus misses earth
as i miss childhood
it travels on and on into the depths of the saddle
of the universe

We are going to Pepsi Cola Florida today
But why? Her amused relatives would ask.
Maybe to drink Pepsi? She said right away.
At five, so sad that she has to wear a mask.
Hope Florida weather will be mild all day
So they can watch the manatees bask.

In our other life,
we will learn the sand language.
So, return to your ashes.
And tell your remains that it's all over.
It's a difficult moment to be bleeding.
And let a cloud pass through your grave.
She will squeeze her heart to irrigate the desert that has formed.
Then...in your head.
You'll notice when it stops.
Regarding hearing the news.
That this life isn't worth,
an empty cola can,
You stomped on it with your leg!
Allow the wind to blow as it pleases.
I don't even own a ship.
Without question.
We'll get together.
After a millennium.
In a gas tank.

Brits have gone bonkers over this:
Matt & Gina just shared a kiss!
Unless you are wealthy
Kissing is not healthy
Keep your distance! NEVER share bliss!

I got out the root beer to have a drink.
I poured it in a glass over by the sink.
By accident I went too fast.
I poured way too much for the glass.
Really quick I took a sip,
Frothy foam tickled my lip.
Higher and higher the bubbles rose,
And then the soda went up my nose.
I started to cough, then I started to wheeze
Before I knew it I had to sneeze.
I sneezed so hard, I dropped the glass on the floor,
So I started all over and poured some more.

I once saw a video starring Lou Bega.
He was singing his release titled "Sweet Like Cola".
There, he danced with a pleasing plump brunette.
This kind of woman is one I would like to get.
Lou described her figure as a little "round".
However, he said he loved every pound.
Singing "stop your dieting 'cause you're so sexy".
With his description, I would wholeheartedly agree.
I am hoping for one long shot lucky break.
This is one type of woman I would like to take.

Who done it? Where did you go?
Why do you want to injure me so bad
How cannot I not live without the cold, refreshing, caffeine
drizzling down my bone dry throat, making my body roar
with pleasure and shake with pure delight. Who took the last can?
Oh, I found you. Now my tongue can tingle with my head hanging back
as the gratifying Coke proves, Its the real thing

Cola and Crown
Cola and Crown
Burns coming up
But, smooth going down
Cola and Crown
Cola and Crown
Burns coming up
But, smooth gong down
Sitting at the tavern
Needed courage
Drank four shots
Downed them in six seconds
Now, I didn't feel so hot
Stumbled to the dance floor
Room was spinning
So was I
Four shots in just six seconds
Felt like I was gonna die
Waitress pushed on by me
Saw that I had paid my dues
Four shots in just six seconds
I threw up on her new shoes
Cola and Crown
Cola and Crown
Burns coming up
But, smooth going down
Cola and Crown
Cola and Crown
Burns coming up
But, smooth gong down
She screamed and i just wobbled
Then she socked me with her tray
She gave me four shots in six seconds
Now, on the floor I lay
From now on when I'm drinking
I'm drinking beer, no matter what
I've got two black eyes to show me
Four in six ain't that hot
