ODE TO HOT COCOA

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A squirrel with paws so small, sat upon a bench so very tall. A cup steamed up—his nose did twitch~ oh, what a gloriously chocolate-rich itch! He sipped it slow, a dainty slurp, his little voice began to bark and chirp. The winter wind blew fierce and free~ But he? A king of warmth was he. With every sip, the cold took flight, and all the world felt just right. Who needs nuts when joy’s this sweet? Hot chocolate paws—perfection’s treat.
That's exactly what I always say: "Who needs nuts when chocolate’s this sweet? "
