For the contest, “EAT ME!”
Soon to be strolling
Under full moon with cocoa
Peaceful surrender

Dark sweet chocolate cocoa
Dash of cinnamon
With caramel and sweet cream;
Shaved chocolate and
Oblivion is
Destiny;
Um!
winter
coming too soon
snow, ice, and blizzard winds
time for heavy coats and mufflers
cocoa
written September 30, 2021
On a wintry day
The snow fell several hours
Shoveling wasn't easy
I stayed toasty warm
I paid two kids to shovel
And... I gave them hot cocoa!
mocha dream this chocolate blend
whip cream clouds a sweet trend
coffee hug cocoa love
flavor fused from above
indulge a mug with a friend.
A cup of hot chocolate was all he wanted
Dropped cocoa; it flew in the air, he stood daunted

we gather around
sipping cocoa, watching kids
smile holding their gifts
Used fingers to count.

Layers of cocoa between
Vanilla pudding
Graham cracker crust, butter
Graham goodness with
Candied cherries makes
A dessert
Dream!
My Tall, Tan, Sunflower Girl
Smelling like coconuts and cocoa butter
My eyes Follow your tan lines
..under your simple cotton dress
What must they taste like?

Whistling wind
wrestling with withered leaves
on the cocoa farm
Lifting debris does not pay
I plead thee
go to our leaders' hearts
blow down their stony ramparts
Fresh golden lemon custard
Beaten egg meringue
displayed on a chocolate bed
butter-flaked crisp crust
Lemon wheels atop
Cherry hat
Joy!
Eggs, brown sugar and some flour
Milk, fresh cocoa, too
Butterscotch flavoring and
Semi-sweet chips then
Mix and microwave;
Chocolate
Yum!
A buttery, flaky crust
Fresh cup, chopped pecans
Brown sugar and egg with cocoa
Dash of vanilla
Bit of bourbon, hug
Bake and serve
Sweet!
Donald Trump uses language so rough
He portrays himself as being tough
But people just say
He oft acts that way
Because he's kokoo for cocoa puffs

Oatmeal cookies green and red;
Chocolate bon-bons,
Cocoa blanket on smores bed
All candy cane striped
‘neath caramel cage
What delight
Ummm!
her latte fragrance calls to me
she shares secrets i forgot in my dreams
i add cocoa, trying to squelch her
she magnificently prevails
creating a melody
that intrigues me
Candle-lit cravings ooze,
caramelized almonds,
creamy layers of love~
carving midnight spoons in
crisp cadence, coated with
cocoa milk; velvety
clusters of sweet essence.
‘Trick or treat’ the alchemy has begun;
No need for black I would not mourn;
Casting a sweet cauldron wish
honey tastes like cocoa bliss,
‘Please transform the candy corn’.
