The Clumsy City

I wandered on streets of that clumsy city,
Like a cloud that hangs below the sky,
And sits over the hills, dull and so heavy,
Then it breaks into tears silently over the night.

The glowing moon stretched through to the dewy grass,
The crystals shone, the ghost town streets' lights,
My stealthy steps tapped, and maybe echoes of breathe,
Amidst a dense thunder of inherent thoughts.

Dense masses flew and hugged with a spark,
Like shooting stars; bright and quick,
And roared; soaring high in the squall,
The city was a horror in a dark movie hall.

Embracing the marvel is catching smoke on hand,
I wish I had wings to fly high and meet them,
They scattered, larking far away and beyond,
Left still; longing in brainstorm like a lost dog.

Clumsy

The bike that made me fall.
I could never figure out baseball.
Or basketball, or tennis, or any sport.
Anything involving some kind of court.
Coordination, I am trying to fix.
Handwriting filled with nervous habits.
A guitar I could never strum.
Those kinds of things are hard for some-
One like me.
Who could never climb a tree.
Doctors would say I’m just clumsy.
That there is no problem to see.
Maybe they’re right, so I feel shame.
That I never get invited to play any games.

Bored

I am feeling bored,
Like a toad.
Can't stop being lazy,
When I love to be clumsy.
Guess I will just complete my work and reduce the load.

Mood Swings

Mood swings come running towards me,
Doesn't matter if it is night or early.
Sometimes I feel angry,
Which changes into glee.
Sometimes I feel happy,
Which changes into gloomy.
Sometimes I feel day-dreamy,
Which changes into clumsy.

Is it just a hormones play?
Or is it just another dismay.
I wonder if it is normal or is it just me,
Does it happen to anybody?
Or to the doctor I flee?
In a split of a second I start to feel moody,
So many emotions it's highly messy,
Sometimes I just don't know what to feel truly!

Premium MemberSuch a Clumsy Critter

While watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
I fell into the kitty litter! --
I am such a clumsy critter.

My brother will twitter
Our babysitter is covered in glitter
She is such a kidder,
But, I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

My kitty has five kitties in her litter
They were watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
When I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

My mommy is a good knitter,
My brother really likes to twitter,
My kitten has five kitties in her litter,
Everyone was watching my babysitter
Playing with glitter,
When I fell into the kitty litter!
I am such a clumsy critter.

Premium MemberClumsy Cat

Clumsy Cat was terrified of wheels
Being around them reminded her of heels
She would rather be chased by brooms or eels
Both had crushed some of her favorite kibble meals

What about wheelbarrows? Another cat said.
I’d rather be caught and thrown on my head!
Could I please show you something new instead?
It was her favorite Uncle Cat Muffin McEd.

He showed her a wheelbarrow that was a sight.
It had delicate flowers all big and bright.
Most of them exuded an aura of beautiful light.
Clumsy Cat was surprised, for it was a delight!

Clumsy

Clumsy in my missteps
And clumsy with my words
Tripping over my own feet
And now tripping over yours

Clumsy with my quick words
And clumsy in my steps
My venom tongue will sting you
And can take away your breath

Never said I’m graceful
And now you know it’s true
Can I dare forgive myself
This dire crime of wounding you?

A Glorious Alchemy

Chemist Charlie Chuckles,
How clumsy her cackle,
Creating chemical cosmos.
Consorting with cats,
Chemical mishaps,
Oh, Charlie Chuckles the chemist!

Chemist Charlie Chuckles,
Cryptic crossword lover,
Confident clinical fellow.
Crazy misconduct,
Caseous byproducts,
Oh, Charlie Chuckles the chemist!

Chemist Charlie Chuckles,
With curly crimpled quiff,
Coat cleaned in century bygone.
Cheeks coloured charcoal,
Crooked chin mouthful,
Oh, Charlie Chuckles the chemist!

Clumsy

Bliss is the most peace stored in the abyss .
I go searching , checked the night clubs .
Had the most intimacy in the pubs
Drugs , pills , name it , we all popped
Still no peace ,even when I go overseas
Yet fleas thrive on the carcass of my ignorance ...

Ye my sweet lady , Bliss ,.is the most
Peace stored in the abyss of my mind .
I should love mine . Love yours . Peace .

He was clay potato
in raspberry field
exposed, clumsy
between delicate gossip
     He turned his back
     fingers in fissures
     abyss separating life
     from living
                       Hand with deep furrows
                       built huge walls
                       rough rock
                       like he was
                Alone in one dream
                slalom, downhill
                white blindness
                stone
                held high above his head
                                    as a white feather
                                    against evening sky
                                    a bird from his hands
                                    light brightness
                                    A wish, unfulfilled

Premium MemberA Clumsy Cat

I've tried to fight the doldrums
with my mind and ready wit.
But all I've gleaned is a yawn,
and a real desire to quit.

I've finished scratching my butt,
tending to an award itch.
And stare down at a blank page,
writing poems is a .

Maybe I'll try something new,
and write about what I see.
But, one look around this place,
shows little to inspire me.

All I see are dust bunnies
and a cat that won't sit still.
Ah, shoot, there goes his food dish,
shall I write about the spill?

There once was a clumsy cat
that didn't notice the wax.
And sliding into his dish,
he was stopped dead in his tracks.

On second thought, maybe not,
it lacks that ring of appeal.
For it's too silly, and I'm
not sure how the cat would feel.

Clumsy Words

Have you ever felt
That all you say is wrong?
That no matter how much you try
All you get are clumsy words?

Some people just nail it
They always say the right things
Heartfelt words, perfect ones
The ones you couldn't come up with

Sometimes I just feel too much
It would be easier not to feel
Lock my heart
And not care
But that's not who I am

I'll keep caring, loving,
Getting hurt,
Sharing my clumsy words
They are all I got
