Bored

I am feeling bored,
Like a toad.
Can't stop being lazy,
When I love to be clumsy.
Guess I will just complete my work and reduce the load.

Reads like a good idea to do the work and reduce the load. LOL..As a housewife, it just keeps piling up. I don't think I will ever catch up again. I enjoyed reading your work. Sara

When poetry knocks at your door, you may not be in a mood to study but lazing away in imagination ! As a student , focus on your studies first dear Komal!

Even if you don't have the energy to finish your task; whether it's boredom or a lack of motivation, Komal, you need to find a way to overcome these periods of lethargy. You are still young, and I have no doubt that you will experience a great deal of success and happiness throughout your life. I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my page. It was quite encouraging to hear.

It's natural to feel bored or sluggish at times, just don't let it stay with very long and become a habit. :-) Nice Limerick though, Komal. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Komal it is ok to be bored sometimes. Energy levels fluctuate some days your full of energy and others you're more relaxed. I read my bible when I am bored. It really helps me get closer to my Lord and savior and he appreciates it too. God bless you and I hope you're not bored today but are engaged in something that brings joy to you...

Yes I agree Michael! I just was feeling pretty lethargic and so wrote the poem...When I am bored I just read suspense books to pass my time or play cards with my family. But since I have exams upcoming I am not sure I should be felling lazy and bored! Lol...Thanks for your kind comment here, glad you liked it!!:)

Get to work girl! Start with your homework, then rake the leaves. I can relate to your doldrums, even at my ripe old age! Robert
