Best Clumsy Poems
He was clay potato
in raspberry field
exposed, clumsy
between delicate gossip
He turned his back
fingers in fissures
abyss separating life
from living
Hand with deep furrows
built huge walls
rough rock
like he was
Alone in one dream
slalom, downhill
white blindness
stone
held high above his head
as a white feather
against evening sky
a bird from his hands
light brightness
A wish, unfulfilled

Coming down the stairs
She trips and falls
She got an ear infection
She can’t take telephone calls
She steps over her dog
And hurt her knees
She sits in her garden
Got stuck by some bees
Sometimes she smile and says
She’s like a walking hospital
But still holds my life in her hands
And keep it safe through it all
Reaching to turn off there lamp
She tumbles off the bed
Looks in the mirror
Got a bump on her head
She makes a cup of coffee
Burn her lips it’s to hot
She peels an orange
Her fingers got a little cut
She’s like a walking disaster
She says I’m clumsy girl
But to me she’s the most
Perfect person in the world
Goes out side for the mails
She slips on the snow
She fell hard on the pavement
She bruises and hurt my elbow
She can’t go back in the house
By mistake she locks the door
Climb through the windows
Stepped on a nail on the floor
She burn the pot roast
The kitchen oven was smoking
Leave the water running
And the whole basement soaking
She goes to the restaurant
It just another disaster
She bounces into the waiter
He spills food on a costumer
She says she is so clumsy
And she sits quiet just gazing
So I just look in her eyes
And says hey babe you’re amazing
I feel so secure in her arms
When she hugs me
In My clumsy girl arms
Is the safest place I want to be?

Aquarius met Belle from France
Attracted he asked for a dance
The first was a slow
He stepped on her toe
Did he deserve a second chance?

Clumsy was Mumsy's daughter
And she was a globe trotter
While in Spain
In disdain
She kissed Mr. Kumsy's otter

theres no doubt i am a sop

dust myself off with a mop.

Limerick
'Tis twilight, the shadow of lake
turning light- peachy and pink.
And all the forest around wake
in the light- life too groggy to think.
When all the light cast God's love
of the sun, bursting brightly,
it shines on something- a hidden trove,
and I take the hiker's first step, lightly,
and I see in front of me old things!
I dust the dirt off skeletal caps,
I smile and the forest begins to sing.
Soon, though, excitement begins to collapse,
For my skips and my kicks and my chants
drop the artifacts on a rock, and they shatter!
Anthropology smites me for my careless dance
for now I have tiny skeletal pieces of matter.
The birds now sing, the monkeys now ooh,
the winds now shake, the sun hides
behind a pile of clouds, as though they all knew.
I collect my findings- crying a little inside.

I'd never been afraid of falling
As a rather clumsy person
I had fallen my whole life.
Then I fell in love
And falling became terrifying
but getting up became the hardest part.

Please friends, try not to laugh,
I know, and I'm painfully aware;
it's never been on my own behalf
That I so often fall down the stair.

I wanted to run
but it was all in vain
you were just a little bit faster
I wanted to cut you off
but you already invaded my sense of being
In between the unknown
things made themselves known
all the invisible
Became visible
everything I wanted
was right there for the taking
and yet
I couldn't take it -
too afraid it would slip out of my hands

MARTY KING
a clumsy ox in modern times
i have dropped the ball only to recover what i did not know about myself
all i did in order to impress you, i simply laugh at now when the pictures of the memories resurface in my mind
i had to go through so many doors of embarrassment to discover that you loved me simply for me
as i scramble your eggs and put cheese in your grits, i remember to lightly butter the toast
the heartbeat of your passion send me to heights unbeknownst to even the most well-travelled astronaut
this clumsy ox has gone low key....and is finally settling down
SHENIKA SIMS
a clumsy ox in modern times
i cannot even count how many times i broke out due to makeup overabundance
i used to dance so nasty and lick my lips seductively
i used to touch myself and mimic things that would perhaps inspire a wet dream or three
i would wear dresses and jeans so tight that i became immune to the lack of needed blood circulation
shoot, i risked my damn life just to get your attention
now look at you....all scramblin' my eggs and putting blended cheeses in my grits
YOU EVEN REMEMBERES TO LIGHTLY BUTTER MY TOAST.....RAINDROPS....SNOWFALL....OH (BLEEP)!
the soft honesty of your love for me got my whole body all into the full realm of emotional
this clumsy ox is officially off the grid....eternally unavailable and taken....HAPPILY!

Have you ever felt
That all you say is wrong?
That no matter how much you try
All you get are clumsy words?
Some people just nail it
They always say the right things
Heartfelt words, perfect ones
The ones you couldn't come up with
Sometimes I just feel too much
It would be easier not to feel
Lock my heart
And not care
But that's not who I am
I'll keep caring, loving,
Getting hurt,
Sharing my clumsy words
They are all I got

It's hard being so clumsy
Always falling for you
Someone who's always got their ballet shoes on
I must have left my dancing shoes at home
Because when I try to tip toe across your mind
I always stumble and land face first in heartbreak

Armed and Clumsy
New York City
Ralik Hansen had pulled off a heist
Jewelry that was high priced
He was all alone
Hiding out in his home
When he himself was then iced
It wasn’t a rival or cop
That followed him home from the shop
A delivery man
With a package in hand
And it happened to be his last stop
When he heard a knock on the door
He crawled under the couch on the floor
Thinking it was the law
His gun he did draw
It went off and now he is no more
Pinellas Park, Fla
Dennis Emery, according to friends
Brandished a gun now and then
A domestic dispute
Thinking he would be cute
His brandishing came to an end
The cops said that this was the case
He twirled the gun with some pace
The trigger he found
As he twirled it around
And he shot himself then in the face
A couple of true stories from your Uncle Mike
