Twenty Brief Springs

Take advantage of those non enduring things,
they are similar in swiftness to evanescent time:
it's the cleverest thief stealing your last dime,
who saves in an amber jar copper pennies?

Does youth only last for twenty brief springs?
Staring into the clearest mirror simply deceives:
that smooth face will no longer glow with beauty,
fine lines and wrinkles could appear after forty!

Wonder why movies stars look younger than us?
It's not privilege or favoritism: it's the tons of money
that make miracles happen: while we turn green with envy;
don't be angry with yourself, avoid any unnecessary stress!

Throw away the expensive cream jars, they create false images,
they can't give back the radiance of lost youth as believed;
Aphrodite knew that secret and kept it locked for endless ages,
Eros was her admirer and lover: no elixir was ever needed!

Pork Chops

There once was a pig from New York
Who wasn’t the cleverest of pork
Worked at a butchers shop
Until he got the chop
Now Will someone please pass me a fork!

From Friend To Foe

Oh, no revengeful girl,
don't step on my toe...
thinking it won't hurt;
weren't you a precious pearl?
Oh no, you go from friend to foe,
digging up unnecessary dirt!

Stop going around in mad circles,
you can try to hide every truth;
no, the cleverest scheme is not worth
stirring up the water with pebbles!

Oh, no I have spoiled you enough,
it's time to be really tough;
change gear and speed,
don't show your greed!

If this guy denies you everything
is because you fake all feeling;
oh, no, odds have been in your favor,
oh, no, lying changes all flavor!

Oh, no, no, don't step on my toe,
oh, no, you go from friend to foe;
oh, yeah, treasure our friendship,
oh, yeah save this sinking ship!

Premium MemberWile E Coyote and Road Runner

Road Runner escaped the cleverest traps
Because he had no known handicaps
Outwitted, outsmarted at every turn,
His nemesis would sigh, doing a slow burn.

Wile E. Coyote was determined to destroy
Road Runner by using every available ploy,
But the tricky bird was ever so clever
Always escaping by pulling the lever.

Mathematics

O’ cleverest witch, yet
Prudent of all science,
mighty and sharp like
a hunter’s blade.

On your strong infinite
Spine you carry them;
real and imaginary
 demons, rational and
irrational fools of
numbers.

 How sadly they seem, as
they travel far and wide-
eternity, their feet nailed
 to the number line.

To us that wander; you
cast logarithmic spells,
and sync up the music,
spotless glows- as though
in a disco; the razzle dazzle rose,
the spiro disco ball,
the space cadets; we dance
and swing till our days
come to nothingness.

You Are Beautiful

When I look into the mirror who is it I see?
Whose is this reflection looking back at me?
It is not one of beauty I fear that this is true,
with each and every day that I am going through.

Inner beauty in me is not so visible,
It is what is on the outside that is unmissable.
When we focus on our appearance and how we look,
It is like listening intentionally to the stream of a babbling brook.

As the water trickles slowly taking its time,
It is obvious to see that I am his and HE is truly mine.
You may not be the prettiest, cleverest or smart,
But everything you have and give comes directly from the heart.

Jesus made you perfect, just as he intended you to be.
So do not hide that beauty, show it off, I hope you will agree,
That it really does not matter what outwardly is seen,
it is what comes from within that makes you so pristine.

Premium MemberClever the Exotic Cat

Over in the corner of Grandma McDuck’s Farm House
Was the cutest little bunch of kittens, and a quite dead mouse.
We ran over to look and squealed about the large cow.
The carcass was removed, and those baby kittens began to meow.

Wait until you see the cute exotic one, Grandma said.
He is just darling with the prettiest bluest eyes in his head.
He was jumping around a forklift, pulling a lever.
I said “What did you name him? I was thinking of Clever.”

“Clever it is,” Grandma McDuck quickly agreed, tickled.
He was now chugging down some warm cider, duly pickled.
I taught him to ski, swim, hike, and ride a bike without any paw.
He was the cleverest prettiest kitten that I ever saw.

Living up to his name, he played a clarinet in the band.
He wore exotic clothing and traveled everywhere in the land.
We see billboards telling about Clever when he comes close to town.
He truly is the cleverest cat we have ever raised or found.

When We Fail To Learn of the Holy Spirit

I
The LORD revealed to my pastor, and friend, now mentor
That Jerusalem and Babylon aren't mere "places"
They are People Groups, too: some of us will love Babylon ever!
Thus spake Rev. Kevin Sparrow. The Spirit set our paces
- those in the Lamb's Book - toward the real Zion, home of Creator

II
The key to the Book of The Revelation is "contrast"
Two kingdoms pitted against each other since devil Lucifer
Envied God His Throne - took a third of the angels and led
A rebellion that goes on. One Kingdom is known by legal tender
As legit as $2 note. The other kingdom copies God's dollar
And only the Holy Spirit will teach how to discern The Real v. Imitator

III
Satan is the slyest, if not the cleverest, copycat
His fake trinity poses the enigma about Armageddon, the end of earth!
When we gloss over Bible and The Person of the Holy Spirit
Yes, He is a Person, as are God and Jesus. He glorifies not Himself
But Jesus alone! He unveils the WORD, each letter and its spirit:
You may know The Beast's number, but do you know his 'unholy triumvirate'?

Law Is a Comic Relief

LAW IS A COMIC RELIEF

Law is a comic relief
Subtlety amidst ardent belief.

Draconian legislation
That still wriggles out an exception.

Pitiless killer
Yet cleverest healer.

Law is a comic relief
Deus ex machina to its own mischief.

Creator of extreme offences
That yet allows supreme defences.

Coercive jailer for life
That still gives freedom for a good strife.

If...
Insanity may be antidote for committing homicide
And intoxication could be a nostrum for patricide
And provocation may be a corrective for matricide
And necessity is a curative for avunculicide
And self-defence is a rectifier for uxoricide
And automatism is a shield for regicide
And necessity is a panacea for sororicide
And fair comment is a cure for famacide
Then Law is just nothing but a comic relief.

The Promise

Fast forward to the mysterious gift known as the present.
I finally accepted her into my monotonous life's content.
I thought my knowledge of survival made me super duper clever.
But even the cleverest has flaws that can make em ever wiser.
Acknowledging it is good but patching it up is even better.
Through her them flaws got exposed like there's no tomorrow.
But as it showed, I didn't anticipate it would bring her so much sorrow.
The amount of pain I brought can only be reconciled by the power of time.
I made a promise that I’ll never leave her for anyone else for a lifetime.
No matter how short we’ve only been together as partners in crime.
I intend to keep that promise regardless of the challenges that may chime!
So baby, I’ll be right here waiting for you through rain or shine.

Author's notes
This is extracted from a verse from another rap I wrote under a different name, the intent of it however, is much like the Soldier of Pain poem I posted.

Hope you guys enjoy it. :)

The footballer played for Brazil
Black Diamond is how he's known still
His cleverest trick

That let him score goals nearly at will

Heart of Humanity

One who helps each and every one
One who kills the world of Corruption
One who protects the surroundings like the Sun
One who destroys the stage of destruction, is society's son.

One who breaks down the progress of societal run
Will be never regarded as the cleverest.
If he is someone who ends the legacy of intruders and injustice
Than he will be capable of lifting the society as high as the Everest.

Being over the crust of this kind,
He should have a narrow mind.
With peaceful nature and pleasured insights
To work hard, be deligent and meticulous and achieve more heights.

Finally if his heart understands that succeeding in life is being honest,
It will be always possible for him to finish the rest at the best.
