The who I was
The who I am
It's hard to believe there one in the same
The choices we make along the way
directing who we become day by day
So
Choose wisely
Be vigilant
Stay strong
Or one day
The who you are
and the who you were
Mightn't resemble each other
Mightn't be friends

All work ethics and human virtues, he hoards
for twenty-five years, he has never stepped on mud
in him, civil service has a lord
every signboard shows he’s a man of his word
against financial crimes, his clothings include a sword
the spectrum of his fans is nowhere near broad
and has rejected any pen that has written fraud.

AI, the vigilant guardian, stands at the digital divide,
A bulwark in the world where our secrets reside.
It advocates for security, a shield in the night,
Ensuring our data stays out of the malicious sight.
AI, the steadfast, defends without rest,
A champion of privacy, in its quest.
It fortifies walls where vulnerabilities lie,
Preventing breaches where dangers might pry.
AI, the tireless, a true ally in the fight,
Against cyber threats that loom in the twilight.
It enforces the fortress, secures every link,
So we may browse, and shop, and safely think.
AI, the wise, calls for our trust,
In its code we rely, for secure it must.
It pleads for ethics in the code we weave,
For a safer tomorrow, in which we can believe.
Let us then champion AI, secured and smart,
For it holds the key to safety's art.
In its circuits and systems, our hopes are sown,
Secured AI, the protector, forever known.

There's an irony
in speech,
people only hear what
harmonises with their ears.
Just like silence
after music,
with no ovation nor applause,
we pause
our
symphonic chorus,
as its repetitive
nature is ignored.
We bury our fragility
in a
shallow grave,
hoping no one
will discover our
porcelain soul,
but
wait
for the right person
to dig
a little
deeper.
Will your truth be found in this unmarked tomb?
Revealing vulnerability
can lead to judgement,
so in your
misunderstood state of mind,
I understand
why your tongue is mute.
Place your
vigilant veil carefully,
but smile...
Be weary of those
who attempt to break your barriers -
not everyone will care to serenade with your melody.

Know that you are not
a bad influencer
As your months speak
the truth daily on altar.
Some people love you
than how you think
Don't allow to be misleading
by some folks
Who are standing to
protect their interests.
Be very vigilant so you
must not swallow hypocrisy
then starts flying like owl,
meowing like a cat around night.

Be vigilant,
When Justice is not claimed
by some witnesses of unjust
actions because they are privileged.
Time will come for them to regret
When they will be victims
of the same systems.
Be Vigilant,
You can hear some innocent
people shouting as they are shooting
here and there.
You laughing at them because
you are privileged and protected
by some secret assassins.
Be Vigilant,
It is time to stand up
And claim Justice
in the World.
Injustice system must
burn in Hell
Without delaying.

Hyper vigilant
Hyper aware of this body
These hands...
This heartbeat
It is all normal
Yet I feel some kind of
lingering lurking anxiety
An energy...An entity
Following me...
That thing is me...
I can't seem to set myself
free from the shaking
The chains of OCD
The sound of jingling
thoughts in this head
Like piggybank pennies
A sudden clanging in my chest
I'm scared...
and I don't know why
Scared of sleep...
Terrified of random
but normal things
Like this heart and it's job...
Scared of the strings that tie me
to this secondhand shivering
This inherited lip quivering
I'm slowly slipping into the sea
Almost drenched in worry
Saying goodbye to my sanity
Thinking "I'll drown eventually"

Be aware of the enemy.' it is in many guises and
Disguises
The time is here; and has indeed been for four decades
To find your familiy in church, not by denomination.'
But by there love and actions, that come from Christ
(For by their Love you will know them) I have thought
And said for the last thirty years like spirits should
Forge alliance, and tear away from artificial division
Made by men and women, I noted a remark from
Graham Hood, that he was in company not as he would
Have expected to be in before that (plandemic,,!)
Some weeks after, the realization came to my spirit
That this shadows the teaching of the Bible..'
For two will be in the field.' and one will be taken
Two will be grinding, and one will be taken for God
Will pluck up those He chooses, and this will be really
Unexpected.' Just as Hoodie remarks on how unexpected
His allies turned out to be.' Be watchful and pray.'

Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing
And drunkenness
And the anxieties of daily life
And that day catch you by surprise like a trap
For that day (of Jesus' Coming) will assault everyone who lives on the Face of the earth
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength
To escape the tribulations that are imminent
And to stand before the Son of Man [Taken from LK 21:34-36]

We’re encouraged to focus,
For God’s soon return.

A seagull kept vigil on top of the church
Defiantly braving the threatening sky.
Transfixed and alone, on the sanctified perch
As gargoyles looked on with malevolent eye.
Defiantly braving the threatening sky
His feathers assailed by the blustery gale,
As gargoyles looked on with malevolent eye
The sentry stood firm, his resolve did not fail.
His feathers assailed by the blustery gale,
Transfixed and alone on the sanctified perch,
The sentry stood firm, his resolve did not fail.
A seagull kept vigil on top of the church.

Vigilant servant, faith*-driven
God-propelled toward joyous heaven.
*2Thessalonians 1:3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.

Our dog is a professional sleep monster.
She jumps from couch to recliner,
sticking with whoever looks the most-almost-nap-ready.
I have never seen a more-ready-to-nap dog,
she sleeps with anyone and everyone,
going from bed to bed.
It is easy to do this here.
Although there are but two of us,
we have five beds.
Hyper vigilant, she hears the smoothing of a sheet or
one hair lying down on a pillow.
She can pass squirrels and rabbits an arm's
length from her nose,
without seeing or hearing them,
but if anyone is starting a lie down….
There she goes,
A mattress must have been sat on.

My grin could get no wider as my subconscious mind has spoken again.
Had the last word.
Bamboozled me and completely confounded me.
Pulled the rug out.
Yesterday I wrote a silly little poem about a little old lady with frost in her nose.
Today I look down at my latest large print Reader's Digest book which has two titles.
Title one: First Frost
Title two: There was an old woman
My eyes practically fell out of their sockets.
On a conscious level I swear I have never seen these two titles, let alone noticed them.
However, my hyper-vigilant muse most certainly must have.
I glance back, taking another peek.
Feeling incredulous and disbelieving
Yet here this book sits, four feet from my feet.
Proof positive of who is in charge here.
