Overflowing from my bank
The unwelcome water seeping.
To and fro and lurking still
Into my soul it's creeping.

Scourge this, be damned to you
I have never asked this claim.
I live my life 
Provide for many, leave me just the same.

I watch over babes, provide sustenance too,
Caring and warmth and love.
Their thoughts and actions rebound to me.
The grandest of God above.

Be gone you scourge that is mine,
Be gone you pestilence now!
I will fight, I will win, cast you aside,
And take no heed, no how.

All have joined and all will love 
For all that I will give.
I never stop to offer more
and that is why I live.

I live by this, from all of you
To keep my spirits clear.
With all of you around me,
You give me strength...

I have no fear.

she stood in a corner under a street lamp
waiting for someone who would pay for her
services to provide for her child’s needs
her face wore a look of determination 

husband left taking all their savings
no transportation nor job she turned
to the streets to survive in a cruel city
she did not cry she would survive 

police officers are some of her customers
so no need to hide she was safe to work
city officials and a judge also used her services
they drove up in their fancy cars seeking her

they are looking for understanding and love.
they lack this at home and are willing to pay for it
she believes these individuals are lost souls
searching for understanding and intimacy 

she returns to her apartment, pay the sitter 
and played with her daughter.

Premium Member The Innkeeper's Bones

Grandmother Everest caresses clouds
with her diamond-studded, silky crown. 
Westerners come to conquer and boast 
Sherpas wish to provide for their loves
and must always bear the heaviest load.

Shaman chants echoing from base camp
The mountain tourists are not listening
They're having a toast and chewing granola bars.

Prayer flags dance and quietly chat
Snowflakes are dreaming in avalanche.
Shaman chant from base camp
They're still not listening.

Today is the push for the summit.
The rich. plastic-dipped mountaineers.
Pickaxe the icy apron of Grandmother Everest.
The weather shifts-windchill dips....
The fog and wind perform their wicked tricks.

The reaper is the death zone storekeeper.
Shelves lined with broken axes -blistered faith.
Empty oxygen bottles, the last prayer of a mate.
Grandmother Everest is the keeper of ego and bones. 
At base camp, the shaman chants
The prayer flags whip
Only the dead and dying are listening.

PARENTS

Why do most parents today
Think that their children
Owe them something when the 
Children become adults
When they made the decision to
Become parents in the first place
It's not I took care of you, now
It's your time to take care of me
It's a parent's job to provide for
The child they elected to have
It's shameful!

As HE taught

The cold November wind blows through the pine trees .. an Erie feeling comes over the fog covering the park, deer are huddled down, perhaps they too are hurt..

The creek calm like glass, only the ducks feet glide across like a knife through butter.. but no noise dare they mutter…

Darkness overcomes us, street lights luminate the path leading through Sunnybrook park..everyone is asleep.. 


My aching body lays down upon the grass, thus  is my happy place, away from people who had no time for me, you had your chance to listen, now only the deer, look into my soul, we’ve made thus place our home..


For GOD created thus place for us.

The sky upon which to seek HIS wisdom,
Deer in which to graze on grass He sowed,
Tall Pine Trees in which to give us Shelter,
Sun from which to warm us.. .


My body is at peace,
my breathing slows,


Winter will soon be amongst us; blankets of white, seeking food will be a chore, but HE who created the earth will provide; for THOSE who seek with an Un righteous heart..  

I seek and GIVE to HIS heart to others in private as THAT is what HE taught;  in my own way  with out fear of judgement..

Water is the offspring of space and time
and when it flows seeks to trace the area
of its parents courtship which resulted in
their fiery union producing seeds of nature
to provide for their nourishment and growth,
in the soil of this earth with its fertile clime.

Premium Member Taking Care of Momma

Time has went by and now we've switched roles
Having me at 16 and dealing with life's  blows
To me there was no problem you couldn't solve
Through my growing up you were always involved
Now you're getting older and i must take care of you
You've always had an independent point of view 
There's nothing wrong with me paying you back
This is the story of our lives so sit back and relax
A baby cant help the fact that their dependant 
Now the tables have turned dont be offended
This is a time for me to show my appreciation
You fed me and made sure i got my education 
I dont remember going to bed with any worries 
You taught us to pray and to read our bible stories
Anything you need i will try to provide for you
Im by your side with anything you may go through  
Cooking,laundry and etc is what you did for me
Ill love to do for you as well, even financially
You cant burden me anymore than i burden you  
With you mother I'm just trying  to apply the golden rule
You were the best mother a child could have ever had
Seeing you grow older isnt easy it makes me sad
Aging from a baby to an adult back to a child
To be able to care for you mom makes me very proud

Inadequacy is not an excuse in the kingdom of God

There are no excuses in the Kingdom of God
It is God’s Kingdom and 
He will provide for the situation

You have a coach
So don’t approach a situation
Without the Holy Spirit!

He advises, corrects, instructs, trains, tutors, guides
directs and prepares you for your assignment 

The Kingdom of God has everything you need while
You are on earth, so ask in His Name and
Align your prayers with His Purpose

My Children Faith in God Develops As You Spend Time

Thru Prayer I've come looking Father, just wanted to talk. 
I would love to join You, in my heart for a  spiritual walk.
I’ll stop and sit real still until I know you are here.
My soul finds such peace every time you come near.
The birds sing and fly happily because they always know. 
That you will provide for them wherever the go.
As they glide without effort on a pillow of air. 
They appear to be at peace, without any cares. 
I know you exist and believe your word is true. 
Yet sometimes I struggle to have faith in you.
I’ve seen you do wonders when I’ve suffered lack. 
Yet the very next problem, my doubt can come back. 
Help me to remember you're renewing my mind.
It won’t happen overnight, this process takes time.
I’ll keep on believing, choosing to trust what you say. 
My faith gets a little stronger as I trust you each day. 
My parents and teachers did the best they could do. 
Hold my hand please and help me walk with you.
Father, you made me a dad, 5 children walk behind.
May I request Salvation for each, & a renewed mind?
Would You also place Angels around my Grands everyday?
Give them each hearts to love others the way that You say!

We the People, in unity’s quest,
Craft a window, our very best.
A union more perfect, in colors arrayed,
With justice’s brilliance, never to fade.

Tranquility’s tones, peaceful and mild,
Like a mother’s embrace to her child.
Defense’s strength, in crimson hue,
Guards our freedoms, tried and true.

Welfare’s care, in emerald green,
Nurtures all, both seen and unseen.
Liberty’s light, in golden gleam,
For us and our children’s dream.

This Constitution, our sacred art,
Binds us together, never to part.

Crown His Effort

It took guts for him to choose it
The society made him pursue it
Under the high pressure of sunset
Without been assured that he would make it
He took the step to maintain his outfit
Obi will never remain a boy


Travelling down the road
He met her
He took her hands and paid the price
They came together and gave a rise
In the shade of his hustle, there she lies
Making meals with the things he earns
The boy is now a man


While the little called him "papa"
He worked extra to provide for two
The burden was much
But he never complained
He moves along with his dear beloveds
Just to push their fates to climb the hills


He motivates even when he is down
He provides even when it’s dawn
He deserves to wear the crown
The crown of a hero

A Man Can Stand on His Own,

A man can stand on his own,
trusting in God alone.

No woman is his master,
as he knows unrestrained emotions spells disaster.

He threw off the lies women taught.
He took up a walking stick for a life of truth he sought.

And with hands for work he wrought,
God provided and a "wife of noble character" he brought.

She wasn't a whore, nor a woman of angry temper.
She didn't possess a running mouth of rumor.

Nor was she rebellious, irresponsible, or mean.
Neither reckless, unrestrained or obscene.

But she was his soul mate, made just for him,
as she was a woman of God, who radiated from within.

Her hands were never idle, and she provided for him,
and to her children and friends she could also provide for them.

She was humble, and kind.
She was patient in time.

So beautiful was she,
He gave all he possessed to her, gladly.

And they lived a Godly, joyful life together.
until God called them both where they can live, in heaven, forever.
