My friend is sad and so am I
For different reasons I ask Him, ‘why?’
He looks at me neither bold nor blue.
A light glows pink in merry hue.
She called me up and poured her mind
I felt the same, of a different kind.
When spirit’s measure stretched at length
I woke up to find, I’ve lost all strength.
She has been trying to dry out her tears
While I here, myself was driving my fears.
No one to share my feelings drawn
I gathered strength to fill her morn.
With laughter and light she retired to bed
I worked the night, was awake instead.
Today it was told it’s not required
I had my share of the pain I shared.
Then reasoned out ‘was it all meant
To surrender my wisdom or my strength?’.
He looked at me and waited long-------
Till I blew my breath of scorn
Was that how You cleaned my eyes?
Was it healthy for the spirit to rise?
My friend’s laughter at the end of the call
Made me realize once and for all
My hard work somewhere has paid me well
I have reasons for love to dwell.
Love for Him came naturally, through,
I looked at Him and felt so blue-----
He could have gone but He never did.
He had to show me my greatest need.
Each dawn arrives with thrills forever new,
Each sunset brings delight beyond compare.
Allow the good Lord to comfort you,
Like a mother comforting the child in her care.
Let us enjoy the best seasons of our lives,
Let His everlasting arms cradle tight.
With trustful hearts, where hope and peace revive,
The dear Lord’s arms surround us day and night.
To guard, to comfort, and to lift our soul,
Let us live joyfully, cast burdens down.
Upon the Lord, who makes the weary whole,
In Him alone, our rest and peace are found.
Both day and night, He has promised to give full care,
In Him we live and move, forevermore.
A man keeps planting flowers in a place no one visits.
It's not that the place is heavily guarded so no one can enter.
Or that the place is so complex, like love, many people are afraid to give it a chance.
It's not like that.
It is just an easy path to cross over to see that place where a man keeps planting flowers.
Expressionally, he loves what he’s doing.
At no point does he need someone who would appreciate him for his work.
He needs no one who would clap for him,
or criticize him, saying he doesn’t do it right and should work harder.
It's not like that.
No living breath has ever even touched the idea of planting flowers in a place no one visits.
But that man got it on his own.
He loves what he’s doing — but no one knows why.
And as the narrator,
I am also scared to see that place.
I left home one early Misty morning
I took for granted the shoes on my feet
I have worn old shoes ready to be tossed
But never have been forced to be shoeless
The pavement was cold and wet
And I saw a man I'd never met
He crossed the intersection as I
Waited for the light to change.
I noticed that he was barefooted
And immediately thought that there
Must be something that I could do.
I thought of the shoes on my feet.
Instead of making a Uturn for home,
I turned left that I might meet the man.
By then I'd decided to give him my shoes.
I got his attention and offered him my shoes.
He hesitated, but I insisted that my shoes had
Now became his shoes. He reluctantly accepted
The gift of shoes and continued on his way, and
I headed home, excited to be minus a pair of shoes.
I was one barefooted happy man on my way home.
I pulled onto my driveway and walked the few feet
To a warm house and put on another pair of shoes.
I was so grateful to God for giving me such opportunity.
I heard His name once in a story
It brought tears and joy alike
God would never let me down
I will love Him with all my might
The lessons I've learned following Jesus
Have taught me wisdom and great love
When I call He'll come from above
Yes He will come from up above
You will know your dad
when you too became a dad!
You shall feel glad
when you realize, he was your launch pad!
You will appreciate his wisdom
when you shoulder responsibilities of the kingdom!
You will realize his care
when he was dissolved into the air!
You will dearly miss him
when alone, against the tides of life, you swim!
You shall honour his glory
when you will appreciate his story!
You shall praise, he is the prize
while he is alive and if you are wise!
Dedicated to all Fathers on this International Father's Day (third Sunday of June)!

An Old Lady with strong Faith
Knows how to carry to great length
Didn’t have to spin to turn into Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman Grandma carried every day
A Mugger thought an Old Lady being an easy prey
He Forget to kneel and pray
The Mugger lurked and looked for an opportunity
It turned out to be a defeated reality
He attacked and Wonder Woman Grandma went into action just like that
She knocked him down
The Mugger went to the ground
He tried to attack a second time
Failed again and again
He didn’t know that Wonder Woman Grandma had Indian tribe blood origin
Full of courage, strength and keenness
The Mugger ran like a punk
Wonder Woman Grandma proved don’t under estimate an Old Lady
She packed more than just age
The punk was defeated full of rage
He got what he deserved because he didn’t behave
Forced to retreat
Got agony of defeat
The Wonder Woman Grandma is a true story
It’s my actual Grandma
A woman of wisdom
Living in God’s kingdom
High in the sky with my Grandpa
Wonder Woman Grandma
Strength in character
Standing for all Grandma’s all over the world

Rewarded in Glory.
Do we really need a holiday to say i love you
Do we really need a date to do the things we do
Spend money on a gift anytime of the year
Do we really need the fourth of July to relax and have a beer
Valentine's Day is here so you express your love
Any day is priceless when it comes to kisses and hugs
Mothers day should be everyday not just a day in May
Call her or send a card and express your love in different ways
I guess the month of June is a set time for your father
If this is the only time you cherish your parents why even bother
Parents spend time with their kids and give out candy most feen
Is that the only close time you spend because its Halloween
Lets not talk about Christmas because Christ isn't getting the gifts
If its about him why complain, keep receipts and have misfits
Thanksgiving is a meal that shouldn't be done annually but every week
So without holidays it seems family time would be bleak.
For My Darling Sister, My Punky
I gave Him all thanks when she was born,
my sweet event, my newborn, babe sis.
All that she did, did my heart adorn.
Loving her when seven was valued bliss.
I brought Mom warm wash cloths each change time,
and told her when new bottles were prime.
Joy was snuggling her in bed or a chair.
My Elizabeth Jane's skin was fair,
with a cute button nose and eyes sky blue.
Five ten's have passed and my sis' love stays true.
And the children cried out to their Maker
Bless us Lord, we receive Your loving peace
They all clamered 'round about Him
Singing and dancing, the Lord was pleased
They came upon a leper
His body wreaked, his eyes were dim
He dare not raise his eyes to Jesus
He was crippled but he really loved Him
Finally they left, the sun was low
There was chatter, good things had happened
They bragged how Jesus loved them so
The crowd came out to meet Him
Jesus was thrilled to see them all
He addressed them with such dignity
And He loved, He loved them all
Mary's Son did preach the gospel
A mother's pride was understood
She sat there right next to Him
He faced the crowds like she new he would
Praise the Lord
Again I say praise the Lord
Give Him all your undying love
You know your peace comes from above
Praise your God
Again I say praise your God
Linger in His halls of justice
Where inner peace flows from Him
See the Father as your all and all
There's nothing the world can satisfy
Let's hold on to our hopes and dreams
Hopes and dreams we can't deny
My hands are tied
My heart is bound
For the love of my dear Jesus
Only in Him can peace be found
The Lord says search your heart
And you will find Me there
With arms opened wide
He'll hold you with great care
Peace shall come to you dear friend
Abundance in one's life
"Hold on to me" dear Jesus said
Hold Me close, so close, so tight
It is the quite longing in the heart of a man, to dwell in peace with the woman who bore him
To know her not only as a mother but as a sanctuary
There is a sacredness to her voice when it finds you in the middle of a weary week
Calling not for news but to remind you that you are remembered in her prayers, that heaven hears your name because she has whispered it there, and if fortune has smiled upon you, still you are counted among those who receive gifts
From the soil, bananas ripe with sun, avocadoes softened by rain arrowroot pulled from the earth with care, you know that these are not mere offsprings of food, they are sacraments the breath of the village travels with them
In every bite, the wings once passed through childhood trees returned to your lungs, you chew slowly knowing your mother is a fortress of 'GRACE' quietly standing watching over the life she once carried.
He's a kind neighbor, rare to find these days
Helpful, respectful, giving in so many ways
All the while his wife he loves is sadly ailing
He provides day to day clearly, without failing
Retired from a long working life, a thoughtful volunteer too
Carrying a sense of humor that will help you laugh and renew
He's a kind neighbor, rare to find these days
He brings light with his presence and follows God's ways
The world needs more people like him, neighbor to neighbor aside
Bringing blessings, bringing light, where there's no need to hide
