Pretty cunning how she captivates hearts of many,
Eyes of many, attention of many but acts like a maniac,
One glance of her makes many sleepless, not that she is a queen but a goddess,

Captivating Dreamer

Sitting detached upon her moonlit throne
Yet with the butterflies, birds and flowers,
in blithe hues, she's never, in truth alone.
Mother Nature's pearly in midnight hours,
Lost in vivid dreams of sunshine bowers!
Dark and tranquil is night, under the moon,
And she wears flowers in her hair, in June.
Fragrances from many blooms fill the air, 
as redbirds invade dreams

A Pair of Captivating Eyes

Was it in a dream when I first saw her,
Or was it in the crowded street afar,
Or was it on the beach by the setting sun,
That she, my heart had won?
All I saw then was a pair of eyes
Beautifully set on a wan face
As twinkling stars in the night sky
Or gems on the moon’s diadem

Captivating Time

He is tired of seeing everyday
the scintillating sun rises and sets,
craves to capture the captivating time 
as a beguiled butterfly flitting away
beyond the halcyon horizon.

So, on daybreak he starts to run,
his butterfly chase has begun
to hold time in control,
decide when the sun will rise and set,
how long the torn heart will dream.
