Captivating Thoughts

Captivating thoughts are rarely kept secret
Thinking them interesting we pass them on
And, sometimes, to our everlasting regret

Telling friends the tidbits we ought to forget
Sometimes drawing from them mutual scorn

I'm very careful now about whom I trust.
