A Captivating Rose

A Captivating Rose

A rose's petals are tender to touch
The delicate nature is pridefully pure
That blazing beauty entices the eyes
While their thorns may leave you sore

They hold a scent of carnal passion
A deep perfume that dreams of love
They dare reveal their hearts, like fashion
That crimson glow is too beloved

A rose will drive you mad with envy
And transform your mind with greed and sin
They will grasp your heart and soul
As those thorns slowly sink in

Must you leave again?
Your strong, capable hands
rest naturally upon my
curvaceous hips
masculine against feminine.

My world explodes with your
seductive, electrifying touch
as your inquiring blue eyes
penetrate mine so deeply.

Knowingly, you scan every
inch of my body and face.
I melt, as your well formed
lips curve into a faint smile
as you explore with restraint.

My hands glide over your
tanned, muscled arms
feeling secure, as they
wrap around my small frame.

I silently plead, stay with me
always, and never let me go.
Must you leave again?

Captivating Chapters

"Every day is a page to write a new story"

Each minuscule grain of sand
   running rampant through
     hourglass' prismatic time
  at hand, awaiting life's resolve
to seize a brand new adventure,
like the dickens' nimbly flair
  enthusiastically captivating chapters
      of a poetically inspired existence
   amidst everyday's triumphantly
             conquered reawakening

Premium Member Captivating Filipina

She is bronze colored in complexion...
She is not too tall nor too small..
She is found along high rise buildings to sidewalks..
She dresses according to the 90's, to the latest moda...

She has her own unique style...
She has of brilliance undefined..
She has the hands soft to caress and rough to grip..
She has of eloquence: smile that soothes...

She is from the southeastern seas..
She belongs to islands of myriads history..
She comes from the land of the tropics..
She stands out among the crowd..

Empowered through high quality education..
Unbreakable by dozens of life experiences..
Molded flexible enough by Her culture
Zest enough to face the whole world..

Wether in the most sophisticated way..
To the simplest servant you can see at home...
What makes her so captivated...
Her full blown nationality of being a Filipina...

looking into love your eyes
there's nowhere left in this world
I would rather be at this minute

Time stands still

Straying into a dream gem
bringing joy sighs to the heart
held captivated in a moment

Whispering

Happiness kisses your soul
can I be the light inside
your dark spaces dancing brightly night

One spirit

Silver shadows tangoing
together holding hands deep
footprints remain beautiful with you

Premium Member Captivating Blue Eyes

Alone upon the bench he perched, blue eyes locked in hollow stare,
Like almonds long since plunged to earth, with little flourish or fanfare.
A look of depth—an Artesian well, into which one could fall for days,
Storied eyes of labors, and battles won, and fatherhood to those he’d raised.

Our eyes became fixed across the way, the distance abridged by our pierce,
For a second I saw deep into this man, as he tugged on a smoke something fierce.
Now calm overtook as our eyes parted ways, in a flash the connection was gone,
Yet my interest remained in this man with blue eyes, that told tales to which I was drawn.

Approaching I asked if he’d mind if I snapped, a photo or two in repose,
Smirking, his eyes took a skyward glance, suggesting dismay juxtaposed.
Back in my studio excited I sketched, this face that was grizzled and wise,
Watercolor splashes brought him to life, through the character of his captivating blue eyes.

Captivating Demeanor

Like the alarming abandon
          & disarray of Jackson Pollack,
    equally beguiling disciplined
       skills as in classically baroque
         airs of Antonio Vivaldi,
   'midst the wonderment and
          wanderlust of a child,
I'm awe inspired & unfurled betwixt
          your captivating demeanor

Captivating Rendezvous

(Dedicated to PoertySoup)

Lines with life overflow,
In its beauty, I take a bow.
Taken an oath never to let go,
This captivating rendezvous.

The Captivating Captive

I can feel the pulsing thrust
The speeding tempo of the blood gust

I can fell the frigid circle
As if it is fastened to my face
I can hear the ticks and clicks
As you try and make haste

I can see the anger in your eyes
How much of me, you despise

I can feel the bruise,
the crack, the burn, the sting, the heat
With every blow, I smile
Every strike to the head, I greet

I can hear your loss of breath
This must be the only choice you have left

I can smell the stench of death
Exhuming from within me
The luke warm trickle of blood
Has unhinged the crime you oversee

Now there is nothing you can do
But wish for the power to kill me on queue

I can feel the concrete
And the burlap grip
My death is belated
For my life, I've been gypped

I can hear your loss of breath
This must be the only choice you have left

Premium Member Captivating Woods

"In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks."
                                                                     - John Muir

"I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees."
                                                                    - Henry David Thoreau

I take a stroll mid the trees tall,
To my troubled soul, a cure-all,
Listening to the crushing leaves,
                    My lonely heart comfort receives,
The song of the birds captivates,
Calling out to me as time waits,
I weave through tangled branches deep,
   Through shadowed woods, my eyes, they sweep;

I take in the beauty of Spring,
        The charmed allure of everything,
Captivates my heart and my soul,
In here, I feel revived and whole,
         Attractions plenty to ponder,
Slowly I pause, breathe and wander,
When I feel blue, none to delight,
A walk in the woods makes it right.

Eternal Love

Blood runs through the veins
Your love runs through mine
Words aren't enough to claim
My love for you is unseen
Whenever i hear of romeo and juliet
Or of any other lover in history i feel
My love for you is more captivating
By gone be by gone but my love is eternal
Heroes aren't made but are born
Lovers aren't born they are made
Yet my love for you is divine
Bless me with me your affection
Your heart means the world to me!

She Is

She is a beauty,
She is a dream,
All who know her are privileged to rub shoulders with her,
Some are flooded with dreams of spending just a fraction of a second with her,
Basking under the ambiance of her presence.

She is a force to be reckoned with
A bag of the rarest dynamite.
From the curves and corners of her body
To the lusciousness of her features
She is captivating
A creature created like no other.

Those that try to understand her
Are driven to a further state of confusion,
Her beauty screams out loud,
But yet again it is subtle.
She oozes flamboyance
Every detail meticulously placed;
She is imperfect in the most perfect way,
Fiercely sexy, and incredibly cute at the same time..
SHE IS...

You have the ability to beguile
With a subtle and unique style
  I love your captivating smile
To capture it, I’d walk a mile
The mystery of you isn't hostile
