what music can do

What music can do

Last night, all night, I listened to music
and my heart cried not in sorrow but
It flew away and soared in the beauty
of the human voice
No. I was not there in person, but that
Didn't matter; it was about the beauty
of us, yes, we are a great race, so
Why the hatred that is on those
who hate to hear our jubilant voice
I'm a poet dreaming that I once could
Write a poem bringing humanity into
a circle of love

The proposal
Was a postal
Verded, nouned
and decisive
Told to a family
Of peoples
Humored and
Decisive
Tanks like ponds
Our Giant Prawns
A District
Countisourre
A taste fresh and delicious
One a seafood lover
Couldn't ignore
We propose in business
A site to construct
And build

Every Woman

She is every woman,
Bringing love to her man,
She shares erotica,
Ever so wundebar,
She is wife to all men,
Loving chick in his zen,
She can birth, she can bleed,
Cook, nurse, love indeed,
She has the ear of God,
Ere power walk over sod,
She is every woman,
Hope you wave that fan!

ADHD - We can do hard things

We can do hard things

Yes we can, we can be the better man,
or woman.
If that seat looks uncomfortable,
bring a cushion.
We do not walk alone,
our world is not so dark
We all have our superpowers
and our individual spark,
We shine and make our mark.
And it shouldn’t feel scary,
we need to embrace the journey.
Jump into joy,
express imagination and energy.
The enthusiasm we bring,
the willingness to try new things,
we are blessed,
we really should sing
Now imagine the chaos that choir would bring.
Yes ok, sometimes we do forget that important thing.
We might become insecure sometimes and cling,
Also we are masters of how to wing,
difficult situations.
But our courage,
now that could shake a nation.
Flourishing, hyperfocused, accomplishing great things.
Shut the door on the paranoia,
take a breath, rest,
let it go.
Because I promise you.
We can do hard things you know

Premium Member FROM CAN’T TO CAN DO

Growing up my favorite words was I can’t without ever trying
My Grandfather always assured in his wisdom words as there is no such thing as can’t unless you try and it is proven
That’s where I put to the test in seeing first hand of can’t in trying being the truth
That was a strong matter my Grandfather set forth
If anybody has felt the way I saw can’t without making a movement in the effort, then this poem message is just for you
You must pursue
Can’t is only a substance in you won’t
Not will to try
Try becomes the effort of discovering
In fact, one is only defeating themselves in not seeing the reasoning in purpose
Be confident and prove to yourself without a matter of doubt
Show yourself you are willing to try, and see how it turns out by advancing into assurance of committing
Effort is what should come out into possibilities with mind over matter
Can’t is doubt
Effort is assurance
I hope being the example being your uplifting influence
The effort made
A can’t be done should be an effort in precise.

What a Button Can Do

Scattered buttons on the floor
A cat named Buttons dying at my door

I think of what a button can do
Oh, Buttons the Cat, how I loved you

A button gone, my shirt askew
My life depends on buttons new

What Men Can Do

Man's heart relate
Melts woman's heart
Soft for daughter.

Between sexes
Father's heart feels
Close for daughter.

Weak for women
Covers men's force
Even whole home.

Praise men's power
Whole home stands
Help whole nation.

SELF RELIANCE

Never boasted
Always looking
Up to thy creator
His power
Self reliance
Believing he can do anything humanly possible.

Never chased clout
Steady Self reliance
Believing in hard work
Consistence in all he does

Some people's love
Comes with intentions
So; he's steadily relying on self
Without pretence or defence
No alliance
Just self reliance
Only God his supplier or helper.

All I can do!

Because that is all I can do!
Influence the little spheres where I have presence!
A little space for all my voices!
Voices that speak choices,
Choices that direct violence!
Violence so benevolent,
benevolently left for your choices!

Because that is all I can do!
Speak truthfully in all ways,
Weigh what is on my mind,
and temper it with the wind.
And wind up my mind,
into blissful smiles!

Because that is all I can do!
smile in confidence,
And confidently style my stance,
And smile at your glance,
Gleefully like in a trance,
and dance like it's my last!

Because that is all I can do!
sit patiently in silence,
Silently observing my audience,
and patiently saying less,
Tactfully without a mess,
and nod in acknowledgement!
Even when your paths are perilous!

Because that is all I can do!
no more than the next,
text all that is said,
and memorize the best,
messages you all endorse,
and bless endlessly!

Because that is all I can do!
be genuinely present,
giftedly in your audience,
and nolstage your essence,
an indepth escape,
with all outcomes endless!
Because that is all I can do!

Premium Member short nails can do work

Six fancy ladies came for tea
Wearing painted six-inch-long fingernails
They could barely pick up their cups
I have no idea how they put on their stockings

They wore shiny sequin party dresses
Most had been to the beauty shop
Their hostess’s nails were short
She had been working in the kitchen all morning.

The finger foods were super delicious.
Stories and laughter prevailed.
Kids carried the fancy ladies' purses to their cars.
None of them could grip anything with those super long nails.

Premium Member the least I can do

one month old baby dies from SIDS
two-year-old does not survive cancer.
three-year-old expires from pneumonia
four-year-old is killed in a tractor accident.
At seventy-two I wonder….
why them?
Why not me?
It makes me want to enjoy every minute that I can
in honor of the ones who did not get anywhere near 72.
It seems like the least I can do, I think
as I reach for hot cherry pie with vanilla ice cream.

We Can Do This

We’ve burned the contract, abandoned the plan
Where fear and hate reigned, trust and love will stand
A new way begins where led with the heart
And rising above to see every part

Acting from the whole, not separation
Heart beating as one with every nation
We turn our eyes to healing our brothers
Put down our old swords, bury our druthers

The pathway there requires that we each see
Our nod to fear individually
And holding hands, yet one by one by one
Release the fears until they are undone

It’s time my sisters, let’s wait no longer
Where once was fear and hate, love is stronger
So come, come with the new way of being
Choose only the good and pure for seeing

It is fear alone that bars love’s flowing
Fear’s time is done, love pure is now growing
Eschew all fear, washing all in love true
We can do this together, me and you

Premium Member Can Do May

Can-Do May had a fantastic attitude
she ignored regular naysayers, thought them rude
her own family would say there is no way….
discouraging entrepreneur, Can-Do May

She was the first to find a live dinosaur
caught in a net with a rhino and a boar
amazing antics were Can-Do May's daily agenda
One-upped her family, not planning to offend-a.

Her weird family continued to put her down.
Called her names like buffoon, idiot and clown.
Jealous they were of their own child so bright
Negativity in them was not quite right

Can-Do May lived a life of vigor and vim
Nothing like the pathetic likes of them
But she never made fun or put them down
For she knows what it is like to be called a clown.

Can-Do Attitude

It's a question of what you can do.
Well, I can work.
That's what I can do.
Yet, I can't be with people or be friendly.
I just don't have it within me.
That's why I'm outside.
For this, I remain on my hill, on my descent.
It's a crescent just for you and me.
Just think, it's a fact, and that's just the way it is.
Can we agree now that this 'it' has always been?
This way been it, and this way will be it.
The way in the future.
In the way of our kids.
Yes, I can work.
That's what I can do.
Everybody else knows how to play ball.
I've never learned how to play ball.
So the ball don't play me too.
