Premium Member I said, 'Since I got my brand-new dentures today'

I said, "Since I got my brand-new dentures today,
can we maybe try some new adventures today?"
She said, "I think I have to wait a bit ~
That new smile! I just can't get used to it.
So, let's do the same old adventures tonight, okay ~
after we pray?"

Premium Member Tomorrow is a brand new day

Yet there's tears on my pillow
from the silence of my sorrow
In slumber I feel no fears
On my pillow, yet there's tears
I plan to be happy tomorrow
And awake with an inner glow.

Brand New Day

Arise little one a new day has begun. Time to brush teeth and change clothes sit for breakfast and prayers. Slow down and breath deep. For you will miss nothing and discovery awaits. Run put your shoes on the laces I will tie. For it is time for you to build forts avoid the pillows of lava, and learn how to fly. Oh little one you have captured my heart and it aches for one day all this will stop. Yet for now I will enjoy this, for lunch, and dinner time will come. Baths and books lullibys to follow. The moon will come and the sun will rest. Then we will give God thanks and I can't wait to start it all again.

Premium Member A Brand New Year

As we rejoice my tears are moist
Feelings have come and will linger for years
Twelve months; a year compounded
Compounded of betrayal; chaos
Tears of happiness that shimmers
We grasp these last twelve months tight
And we drop these last twelve months
Without a fight; a brand new year
A new year filled with hope and salvation
Glistening warm tears trail behind

When tummies rumble, it’s a sign
that plumbing pipes are not aligned

Think back on what you chewed today
       Take Alka-Seltzer ~ Don’t delay

A Brand New Destiny

Tell your heart to beat again
Your life has a brand new song
When things went wrong
You remained strong because
You belong to a brand new destiny!

There are some things we cannot control!
There are some things in life we cannot change!
There are somethings in life we can never explain and
There are somethings things in life we will never answer
So tell your heart to beat again and sing a new song!

The weather in our lives will always change
The seasons bring the shift we need
So that we can feed off any situation
Even in the face of adversity!
Nothing can go to waste
As humans we must taste
A reflection of every emotion
So tell your heart to beat again and sing a new song!

Tell your heart to beat again
Your life has a brand new song
When things went wrong
You remained strong because
You belong to a brand new destiny!

Premium Member A Brand New Screw

What Don said to Joseph was true
though the brainwashed won't see that view
they will keep the old man
as long as they can
then send in a brand new screw.

Woke, a brand new bloke

World has gotten far too awake,
Fancy gender issues to rake.
Sex, a matter of choice,
One follows inner voice,
As suits self choice, one bakes one’s cake.
A non-binary brick
Has broken old rubric—
One male-female that goes to make,
And woke, a brand new bloke,
Out, old order to choke,
Suffers deep slumber and can’t wake.

Poet’s note: J K Rowling of Harry Potter faces a prospect of arrest in Scotland for having said: Many a transgender actually is man under the dress. But if Western World is so 'woke' as to suffer from chronic insomnia, India seems its Polar opposite, comparable to say Rip Van Winkle who slept for twenty years, or Kumbhakarna of Ramayana who used to sleep six months in a year. The last line of this ditty alludes to this fact.

The latest, greatest whiz
Out of marketing biz.

Straight from known em stiff
With a Kansas city twist

Premium Member Brand New Christmas Poem-Mr and Mrs Claus

Mrs Claus made a viagra eggnog
To energise ol’ Santa Claus Yule log
His frozen south pole recovered large-scale
Wagging frisky as a puppy dogs tail.

Mrs Claus dumplings hubby does adore
Her stew warms up her Santa’s inner core
Gravy so thick that it sticks to their lips
Leading to bliss of a lingering kiss.

Brand New Christmas Poem

Everyone else is avoiding death and sadness.

Year after year, it seems…

Our family was stricken one year.

I am 26 this Christmas.

I remember my 24th Christmas.

That ruined the lights, the presents.

Never replacing their presence.

The world is innocent.

We are sad.

But still, we are family.

I’ll be 27 soon.

By then, Christmas will be done.

Premium Member Brand new Christmas poem

Santa's not coming this year
he was blinded by Rudolph
trip down the stairs
on his way down his suspenders snapped
giving him a concussion
right now Santa thinks he's Batman
as he runs around the house
with his red suit
adjusted like a cape
mrs.Claus annoyed
by the thought of being called Robin
is about to snap

Premium Member Brand New Christmas Poem: Up on the Housetop Parody

Out from the 'Chop Shop,' breaking laws,
"Speed bumps, Hoods!" Scold Grand Mamas,
Found with the blacksmith made lots of noise,
Served an acquittal now kissing boys,

First comes the stocking of little Nell
Wait cause Grand Mas legs still swell,
Next comes the stocking of little Will
Oh, it's filled to its brim with swill

Oh, oh, no! "I" - "da" - "ho?"
Oh, oh, no! "O" - "hi" - "o?"
Get up it's nonstop, quick, quick, quick
Down to the car and without this chick!

Premium Member Brand New Christmas Poem

The night before Christmas the moon glowed bright
Children were caroling all through the night
The elves were still working; making some toys
For Santa to bring, to good girls and boys

The clouds drifted slowly, so way up high
Dropping their snowflakes- that whitened the sky
The world seemed quite quiet, silence in air
Then, the wind whispered soft into my ear...

Tomorrow is Christmas- ready or not
Remind the people, what some have forgot
Christmas is when Jesus was born this day
It's not just 'bout Santa- riding his sleigh

And tell them the best gift to give is- "love"
A whispered note, from the man up above

Premium Member Brand New Christmas Poem, Just For Now

Merry Christmas time appears in sight,
out of the cauldron of the freezing night.

The fir trees flash the sparkle of stars in spurts
in the firmament of our enchanted hearts.

The polar wind whispers winter’s happy mood,
mingles with the church bells tolling in solitude.

On the sleighs slide the children in delight
on the frozen pathway in the meadow white.

In dark night the cadence of carol glides
on the waves of snowflakes silence astride.

The lighted candles will melt darkness with glee,
as the star will descend on the Christmas tree.

These will glitter with the patina of happy time,
making our hearts pulsate with the festive rhyme.
