Bewitch Poems

Woman , Yours

Oh dear ! You are better off
I’m not a smiling doll
to play with you
Don’t stain me
with your fingers and words
I’m possessed by a holy evil
Don’t yell my dear !
Even as an embryo
the world knows -
I’m a witch
I didn’t bewitch you
Don’t think too highly of yourself
You were a nomad
who lost your way
in my fog of love
You want to burn me alive ?
Do you think you can ?
Oh dear ! Rub your eyes ,
blink away the fog
I’m toned like soot and
smell like smoke
Where is it !?
I miss the spark in your eyes
Dear , come at me !
Set the pyre alight, I crave flames
The sizzle of flesh and bones
turning into ashes
Never leaves me soulless
Oh dear ! I love you ,
Do you dare take me -
as your woman anew ?!

Premium MemberStardust On Autumn Leaves

Tantalizing season steps in humming
Delightful songs - soar cerise, tangerine,
Crimson, red leaves - floating, fluttering
Swooshing, spreading light…. Stardust
Sprinkled from the misty clouds above,
Shimmers dazzling on each petal, flowers
Of the magical season sprawled create
Tapestry of colours !

Autumn weaves dreams glimmering streaks
Of light, murmuring whispers of joy,
Decoupage of ravishing colours leaves
The footprints of a glorious landscape,
melting colours bewitch human soul!

                 Seductive
                 Sparkling
                 Sprawling
                  Sublime
           Flowers of Season!
          Encrusted by Stardust!

Aria the Druidess

(A lone voice whispers)

Write your words like mesmerising spells

Like
California yellow bells

To bewitch hungry
Eyes that see

Using your incredible
Vocabulary
By all means

And the four types of comprehension

Literal
Interpretive
Critical
And creative

To conjure
Themes
And memes

From the fourth dimension
To enrich jaded eyes

To stimulate weary senses

Send forth your unique voice
Via your prose

To grace unconsciously moving wet lips
With a sweet scent
Of your inner

Red rose

That tempts them
To read on

In their moments of stillness
And you'll realize
your love of poetry

May be the missing link
That completes them

Like the three wise men
Who once saw

The shining
Star of Bethlehem

Shines the season brimming with grandeur, rich
In winter... frills of ice and snow bewitch
My pine trees capped with tinsels evergreen :
Comes spring-- dizzy where buds' hues turn to sheen
While air minty weaves on glens to unfurl
My trail scenting walks on plush lanes...hours whirl.

Then summer calls, hundred moths blaze cloud's fire,
Red-hot nights flaming, sizzling moon's desire
To entice a June love I bring to shore,
Till fall chants... boughs spilling lace on damp floor
Relishing life's harvest...true hearts content
When I trace cycles blooming but not spent;

For this spirit thrives on stars, earth,
' neath clay...
I am life that begins and ends each day
Between seasons, time pauses for a while,
As hands nourish solstices that beguile.
For I, God's nature child, could grant relief
Bringing hope for man's journey...root to leaf

Siren Sing For Me

Too many sailors who have lived to tell,
Her siren song permeates,
day by day it fell.
Luring in ships to crash,
break,
splinter on cliffs,
She masters ethereal crescendos,
opera riffs.

Each day leads boats astray,
the reel of the sea witch,
Nay terror,
her voice pitch rich is much more bewitch.

Easily Tempted

I declare that feeling rage is too awful and insane,
it's a trap we have fallen into one time or another;
we deceived, we lied and went much further:
when guilt stains our conscience we are done!

Easily tempted by a sweet glance,
does it excite us and full us with joy?
a dreamy guy will ask you to dance:
could he be an irresistible playboy?

I have unusual, charming eyes to attract
women to me: they smile and never wait
to get kissed, touched and be in Paradise:
there there's no lack of an instant surprise!

I'm easily tempted by a sweet glance,
do I pursue pleasure or romance?
Words and caresses can tell...
do they bewitch a weak will?

I'm committed to honesty and faithfulness,
oh, elegance and beauty don't impress me;
I search for sincerity, for arms to own me:
I would surrender myself to nothing less!

to the sea plus

two entries
thank you all

"to the sea"

to the sea
to the sea
open your world

unmatched by others
in every way
in every way

keeper of secrets
you hold our souls
you hold our souls

your powers bewitch
such sights enchant
every sound lingers

far and wide unveil
never are we the same
never are we the same

witnessing gliding eagles
healing from golden sands
amazements are everlasting

to the sea
to the sea
blessed are we

"as moons transition"

time and sands move
yet we think and dwell
why is life a bed of nails
why are all windows closed
where are the butterflies
where is the light

our mosaic life reveals
flooding rains
dead end roads
where are birds of spring
where are church bells that ring

as moons transition to suns
behold such a moment
passing of the torch
passing of light

closed windows open
birds of spring sing

Lustrous eyes bewitch me
As if a spell of gratifying love is cast
I can't flee

I have no hold
And control over my actions
Untold

To take
Counter steps to
Break

Lustrous eyes bewitch me
And control over my actions
Break

6 lines from Firefly Memories (Terza Rima)

As the night rolled into a darkness rich
With glimmering fireflies, vibrant, quiet
And happy, charming, able to bewitch

I caught them in Mason jars that riot
Lights going on and off, soft, so soothing
Breathing graceful whispers that sigh “try it”

6 new lines (opposing the old poem)

Despite the morning, crisp and ever fresh
Pouring out her dawn past the mountain’s crests,
Begetting goosebumps on our naked flesh

Kissed by colors, beauty that time protests,
Reflecting dew, trembling on butterflies,
Lasting songs, rich as the morning suggests.

Premium MemberAmong Lilies

Among lilies of restful souls
Innocence restored after death
A harp of sweetness weeps and rolls
Drowning in tears last precious breath

Soil sprinkled on and forced away,
Essence storms within; blankness turns
Silent grief, dusky gloom does stay
Frail sound saddens a flame that burns

Consecrate loam waiting to heal
Sweet winsome scent croon through spring
Before frost of negligence steal
A handful of lilies, bells ring

Death stolen, bewitch afternoon
Ceaseless promises were from time
As day dawned, haste away too soon
None listens to mournful hushed chime

Blue Boy's Poetry

In hues of sky, a boy dressed in blue,
Radiates beauty, his essence so true.
His eyes, like oceans, enchant and bewitch,
Reflecting a soul with a dreamer's pitch.

His laughter cascades like the songs that he sing,
Each step he takes, a dance, graceful and strong.
A halo of light adorns his golden hair,
A gentle heart, he carries, none can compare.

He walks through life, a vision of grace,
Captivating hearts with his vibrant embrace.
A beautiful boy, in blue, ever serene,
A living masterpiece, a sight to be seen.

Meaningful of a Name

One day I was teaching about a name
       To some university students.
I said, " some people pray to be
              called nice names
While they continue to publish their bad
             names here and there."
        Some students astonished,
The topic sounded  new in their ears.

A name represents what  someone is doing.
You are called a nurse because you nursing.
You are called a robber because you robbing.
You are called a corrupt because you corrupting.
You are called a learner because you learning.
You are called a healer because you healing
You are called a killer because you killing.

You are called a liar because you lie.
You are called a hater because you hate.
You are called a witch because you bewitch.
You are called a teacher because you teach.

You are called a magician because you do magic.
You are called misician because you do music.
You are hypocrite because you do hypocrisy.
You are called polygamist because you are in polygamy.
You are called a prophet because you   prophesy.

Ring For Spring

So, you want that ring?
For you, a potion in Spring,
One dead spider, can of fizz,
Boil with roses, no need to tizz,
Cool and sip, O ruby lips,
Bewitch that man, O shapely hips,
This is the right cauldron, my fave,
My witch's parlor will be your save!

Premium MemberSpringtime In Salem

Flying on an easterly wind
Over Atlantic waters, ever thinned
A village comes back into view
Eerily draped in a season anew

Hanging now with purple wisteria
Not accusations, not hysteria,
Is old Salem town, lush and green
Beyond, a cemetery lies, a reverent scene

Dark houses, by cherry blossoms framed
Brighten a place once so shamed,
By masking her greatest tragedy
With pink floral beauty, craftily

Quiet streets, an all too familiar pitch
As I wander, her picket fences bewitch,
And up on Gallows Hill, a site so tragic
Finds her peace in springtime magic.
