All On a Summers Eve

The screen door droops lazily, slightly ajar
Crickets croon lullabies, heard from afar
Kid’s sticky faces, betray ice-cream bars
All on a summers eve

Legs peel off chairs, from the sticky, wet heat
Rocking chairs sway, creaking out restless beats
Mosquitoes, they feast upon my grass-stained feet
All on a summers eve

Young lovers strip down, kissing perchance to swim
As jealous moon watches, and sunset grows dim
The sand dunes heat up, begging for skin on skin
All on a summers eve

Bold daisies flirt, nodding their modest heads,
Ivory faced roses blush, burning them red
Tiny seeds toss, and then shoot from their beds
All on a summers eve

Butterflies tease, as they flit-flutter by
Somewhere a windowsill holds fresh baked pie
Magic is born within jars of fireflies
All on a summers eve

Wild, woodland faeries dance in faerie rings
Children will grin, picking flowers to bring, to
Their surprised mothers, whose thankful hearts sing
All on a summers eve

Fishes gaze warily at worm-hooked poles
Marshmallows roast above fiery coals
Keen mother horses watch boisterous foals
All on a summers eve

Impatient winds blow, making love to the trees
Zephyrs entice; then enrage the calm seas
While lilies and hyacinths bewitch the breeze
All on a summers eve

Love will be found, and remembered, and made
Peace is a book, an old tree and its shade
Summer to me, tastes like cold lemonade
All on a summers eve

So, come with ye, summer; be gone snow and sleet!
I long to feel grass on the soles of my feet
And jump in the river as suns rays retreat
All on a summers eve

Fields Of Lilies ~A Poet Destroyer Collaboration~

I stand tall among the restful souls
That has received restored innocence after death
With a trumpet of harmony sweet fragrant bloom
Drowning in tears that have been shed
Soil sprinkled over me after I’m forced away
~
Loosen soil waiting to heal,
Seductive scents sing throughout spring
--before the frost of forgetfulness
Hand carried beautifully before the bells ring
A variety of fragrances, bewitch the afternoon
From bulbs to everlasting fields of empty promises

Love and Lust

I did not mean to snatch your heart
Like with the claw of a vorocious bird of pray
You fell into my unset trap
Speared yourself upon my harpoon
Which had only been hanging on the wall
You threw yourself into my way
stole my arrows and brandishing them with cupids blood
Punctured your heart without a thought
Other than the whisper of my name
You claim that I'm a siren
I've led you to your death
But it was the birds i sang to
Your name did not leave my unforgiving lips
With swollen eyes from crying
Filled with swirling colors of obsession
You beg to me and plead with me
Blaming me and cursing me
Claiming that i drug you here
Forgetting it was you who snuck in through my balcony
To watch me in the fountains
And listen to my voice
To see how the animals follow me
And witness how the moon becomes my robes
And the stars become my eyes
How the setting sun remains all night
Within the silk of my hair
how roses color my cheeks
In the darkness of the cold
And the world surrounds me
And the beauty of the light i behold
Where in this story did i bewitch you
Where did i make you call my name
Did i once respond or invite you to play a game
you claim i did this to you
When you only did it to yourself
did you enjoy your gaze upon the child of Cerynian
Did you think I'd become your obediant wife
When did i claim i loved you
How quickly you think of these blasphemous lies
Your not in love you simpleminded mortal
Your infatuated and in lust and your lust is a lie

Perfect Winter Night

This is a perfect winter night to tandem thyself with my sizzling nerves
Candle light stuns thy hips moving in wine-red skirt, penning killer curves
O’ watch our bed rose’s flame in moonlight, instating a scene of heaven
Bewitch all my hormones with your fervent lips, sipping glimpses of Champaign

Not the dressing but only the undressing would unveil the unanimous pleasure
Writing a simile is impossible to explicate the true sense of rubbing thou bare
Gripping my hands to thy hips, pinning thy legs, should it get thee so helpless?
Slow like a tide while I move in thee, thou woo me with thy yearning murmurs

Wine in your eyes sets the blaze in my rise, what else on earth is wise than this libido
Dun no why, while I race my insane moves unto thy pulses, thou ever gave a “Go”!
Cruising my fingers down across thy necklace, should it get thee so restless?
Like a roll of wheels, I keep banging with no pauses hoping something clueless

Is this a mission of flooding bliss unto the myriad nerves, in an act of gleeful fission?
I fall on thou with a feel of ousting a “Niagara”; thou hugged me with none between
O’ what a wonder, I am alive though, after halting my heart & glancing the heaven
Beheld I am mesmerized between your pleasing eyes sinking in the ocean of ******

Premium Member Talent and Skill

The mellow chords of a cello draw tears:
as its bow vibrates a combo of strings.
And when that sound found its way to my ears:
it tore my heart apart and clipped my wings.

The violin, akin to the fiddle,
expresses cheers and fears within its pitch.
And, I find my mind teased by a riddle
granted an hour of power to bewitch.

French horns, like brass thorns, both piercing and sharp,
float above each note, and I'm left reeling.
And the sweet bleat of a lingering harp
haunts and taunts with a heavenly feeling.

Music, on the whole, leaves my soul in awe;
every sound, bound to the conductor's will.
Perfect, and yet imperfect, like scrimshaw,
a way to convey both talent and skill.

Illicit Itch

Spray your love in the masochistic mist,
shapely satisfying the illicit itch...
With handcuffs upon the wicked wrist,
narcotic nectars that will bewitch…
Salacious secretions that must assist,
appeasing appetites that shall enrich...
Salivating on parts hardly ever kissed,
exploring erotica within its niche…

Licentious desires amidst negligent night,
engulfing erections are craving...
Passionate pistils partake in their plight,
tender thoughts are misbehaving…
Bodies in motion divulge in delight,
as animalistic aphrodisiacs are raving...
Concupiscence convulsions do bite;
willing wanton wizards are waving…

Hold me tight as we twist and twitch,
upon luscious landscapes yearning...
Libidinousness lactations in their stitch,
beauteous breasts are burning…
Carnal covetousness stings their pitch,
for evocative emulations returning...
Leaving humble humanity in the ditch,
lacrimal lewdness upon learning.

The Language of Words

You come into my world
a child of mine
of heart and mind creation
sweetly under my flair
following my soul
tracing my steps
growing to a tremendous wealth
encoding my particles.
Soulless, dry lands
under your sway
strike gold.
In tune with my aches
you turn wild hearing my chuckles
reposing your whole on my chest
waiting for my muse to awake.
Of my grip, now at liberty
you outgrow my rooms
claiming your fame
a world of your own
you set your very rules and truths
pearls of wisdom
you conceive collections
you portray cruelties
Love glorified
Hate on the loose
you shake minds, weaken hearts
souls drift
lose sight and shore
Pain and joy you cause
fear you strike
spells you do break
a sleeping beauty you enchant awake.
Powerful and persuasive as you are
you stir emotions to life and death
your decipherer you bewitch and hypnotise
Renowned for your feats of relief and healing
I am into your world
paradoxically under your flair
you create my world!

Why Wake

Why wake when first takes fade to night
Why wake when days evade your plight
Don’t ask to rule when thrones you lost apply,
To things you wish, keenly brewing bright
Don’t say you know
when the sun’s last chance arrives

Arrange your passions however you wish
And twist your eyes when they bewitch
Don’t ask of men to fashion a new breed
…the thought, of course, relies on me
Don’t look again
as I slip and slip

In fact your rangy words subscribe
to bottled pride repacked and retooled inside
To every hint of light this way derived
the prospect of insightful sparks you blight
Don’t send me a word
if my memories from your words may die

Don’t sign a cloud with brownish words of clay
A cloud is seen worldly through light and rays
Your words for clouds could thus retain
a will to cast all light aside and rain
Don’t cry for two
when clouds rephrase your words and fade
Don’t tell the truth
that saintly words of love unsaid remain

Premium Member An Occult Niche

Once, inquisitors would torture a witch
and strip her naked down to the last stitch.
And fear in the people reached fever pitch
encouraged by the clergy and the rich.

It's like scratching that unreachable itch
crushing skulls of succubus that bewitch.
And procuring an informant or snitch
the church used faith as a means to enrich.

Burnt alive or hug, so's to watch them twitch
practiced for centuries with naught a glitch.
Finally, attitudes began to switch
and today, witches fill an occult niche.

With a witch, an itch, a glitch, and a twitch,
the war on women runs without a hitch.
Subjugated women are labeled B*tch
raped murdered and disposed of in a ditch.

Observations For a Summer Night

The setting sun shines down on trees and lawns
While white puffy clouds sail serenely along
Two black dogs walk on padded feet down smooth grassy streets
And the cat in the corner meows and chases her tail round and round
In the distance a babbling brook flows merrily by
And schools of fish settle in under a starry sky
Camp fires glow cheerfully far into the night
Serenaded by crickets and frogs hiding from the light
And high above the heavens bewitch with quiet tunes
Lulling all to sleep under a full summer moon
Till dawn finally creeps out from its womb with a lazy sigh

Emerald Eyes

There was something uncanny about her eyes
With just one look,
she could freeze the breath in his chest
The smallest glance,
could bewitch his very soul
The slightest touch,
would set his skin aflame
A brush of her lips,
could surely capture his heart
If just one tear fell from those emerald eyes
his world would shatter

Shines the season brimming with grandeur, rich
In winter... frills of ice and snow bewitch
My pine trees capped with tinsels evergreen :
Comes spring-- dizzy where buds' hues turn to sheen
While air minty weaves on glens to unfurl
My trail scenting walks on plush lanes...hours whirl.

Then summer calls, hundred moths blaze cloud's fire,
Red-hot nights flaming, sizzling moon's desire
To entice a June love I bring to shore,
Till fall chants... boughs spilling lace on damp floor
Relishing life's harvest...true hearts content
When I trace cycles blooming but not spent;

For this spirit thrives on stars, earth,
' neath clay...
I am life that begins and ends each day
Between seasons, time pauses for a while,
As hands nourish solstices that beguile.
For I, God's nature child, could grant relief
Bringing hope for man's journey...root to leaf

Siren's Song

Raindrops softly fall around me,
The ocean absorbs any sound,
As I watch my silent harmony,
The waves wrap me up and watch me drown,

The ocean absorbs any sound,
A cry for help to soft and late,
The waves wrap me up and watch me drown,
Your future decided by fate,

Witches and whales,
They sing anew,
Muted light, as it hits my scales,
Gradient down to the darkest blue,

They sing anew,
A song of old,
Gradient down, to the darkest blue,
Your story already told,

A lonely half without it’s other,
Sing your spell of a song,
Far beneath the witching water,
Pretend that your heart isn't already half gone,

Sing your spell of a song,
As your mournful cries resound,
Pretend that your heart isn't already half gone,
Your other half, never to be found,

I sing my song to bewitch,
As I watch my silent harmony,
Ships crash, I never flinch,
Raindrops softly fall around me.

Premium Member Seeing Double

You may recall our worries for the two.
We needed prayers for them when they were new.

They have turned into active little girls.
With matching big brown eyes and bouncing curls.

Sweet Avis Jean and happy Raye Kristine
Are just the brightest pair I’ve ever seen.

Only their Mom and Dad know which is which.
They do not need witch costumes to bewitch.

They recently had birthday number two
And now think there is nothing they can’t do.

Although she cannot tell the two apart,
They truly are in charge of Grandma’s heart.

( I checked on line 2 to see if prayers could possibly be counted as two. It is not. So each line has ten syllables.

Premium Member Waiting---Alliteration

Wistfully waiting and watching
at the window, wishing and
wondering. Will all this
wanting be wasted?

The evening embraces my
empty arms, and eventually
the essence of exquisite
pain exudes from my eyes..

Our fabric of our future
is faded , the feature of
my fantasy was fabricated
 from a fevered fight for
a fresh start..

Oh, be gone you beast, bewitch
another...I, a bystander now,
bequeath this boulevard of
bones, to a better belle
than I..
