I was sleeping, probably snoring.
  around three one morning,
Awakened by knock at my door.

Well I sleep in the floor.

I wasn't sure it worthwhile,
So I laid there awhile
Slowly rolled out of bed,
Looked out the window instead.

Without my glasses,
Its like looking through molasses,
I couldn't see,
 who was calling on me.

I found my glasses, moving like molasses,
I went to the door to see,

My visitor at three.'

I'm a bit surly, when awakened early,
My mood wasn't the best,
I wasn't expecting a guest.

One hand in a drawer, I opened the door

He said,"Excuse me, sir,
You're a he, not a her
A lady gave me this address."

So I began to press.

I said, "As you can tell,
I'm a male", Then, I made it clear
that no lady was living here.

Before I finished, his desire must have diminished
He just turned, walked the stairs from my porch
 I was scorched.

What I was going to say,
 before he rudely walked away,
He might want to check nextdoor
He might've scored

I closed the door scratching my head
Went back to bed.

I really need to get another dog,
Mine was sleeping like a log.

Silent Visitor

dress in pure white
disclose in morning curtain
unwelcome beauty

An Unexpected Visitor

last night i had the strangest dream
i dreamt i was all manky
i had greasy hair and smelly feet
 and bogies in my hanky

my ass was brown and pooey
my ears full of yellow stuff
 my belly button stank cus
 of all the fuzzy fluff

my eyes were black like pandas
my pants were brown and fishy
my armpits smelled like rotten eggs
and my farts were wet and squishy

 i dreamed you called unexpectedly
you surprised me at the door
you looked aghast and took one whiff
 and fainted on the floor

My Visitor

Something catches me form the corner of my eye
No one's home but I swear someone just walked by
There stands a man just beyond the lower stairs
Startled yet I'm not afraid as he looks at me and stares
I wonder who this presence is who's invading my home
He moves shooting a glance at me and proceeds to roam
Who's this strange man in the shadows Is he watching over me
Is there someone else he might be here to see
Once in a while he shows up to let me know he's here
I wonder if he visits to see someone he holds dear
Is he just letting me know we are not alone
Is he lost and wandering trying to find his way home
This presence some may call a ghost who visits me
My grandson calls him Jack as he can also see
The ghostly presence shows himself just once in a while
When he chooses to drop by he always makes me smile

The Visitor

Remorse, he knocked at man's front door,
a proud and somber beggar
and asked if he could speak to us
of hatefulness and guile.

"What say you, Sir?" We asked Remorse
with curious concern.
"I've come to bend the hearts of man
and promise soon that I'll

wage war against your ancient foes;
Indifference and Disdain
to bring you back to empathy
and fellowship and kind.

Against the ghosts, he fought but lost;
accursed the useless war.
The fallen warrior was dead!
Then on his corpse - we dined,

but sinful gluttony soon left
the taste of bitter shame,
and we began to realize then
Remorse and all he gave.

His broken spirit once suppressed
has stirred in human kind.
Now all that we can do for him
is weep upon his grave.

Only a Visitor

Going back!
                     Not being a part.
                     A well known return
                     With no book to start.

                     Only a visitor
                     Not able to stay.

                     A worn out excitement
                     To brighten a day

You make me
Tingle
The flutter of your wings
Tickles my soul
As your beauty darts before me
Resting for a moment
On my timeline

Capture me please
Let me be absorbed.
Hold time delicately
As you wave and say hello
I want you to live here
In my consciousness
So I can meditate on
The beauty of
This fleeting moment

I hope you feel the love
In some ethereal way
The joy
Of my connection with you
So that it brightens
Your colours
Fashioned by a masterful artist

From the palette of
Whimsical, yet powerful design
Simultaneously
Reflecting into the
Eye that beholds
The extraordinary
Dichotomy of
Real
From first imagined

A fragile construction
Of pure love
Soon the breeze of sadness
Will whisk you away
Yet I will stay
In this moment
Close my eyes and..

Re-live
The wonder
The vibrancy
Of having you
Pass by
As you visited
So closely
Too closely
To ever be forgotten

A Visitor

A bird sits at my window
passing the time with a song.
Where it came from -
I do not know.
Will it sing for me very long -
I cannot say.
I think today...
I will sing along.

These here trails are long and wide; I've
ridden them for years.
I gave up the outlaw ways some time ago
and faced my fears.

I'm a visitor in this town; folks are giving
me the evil eye,
Riding on my horse with a gun at my side I
feel danger’s nigh.

Though I haven't had to draw my gun in
a very long while,
I've never backed down from any fight
that ain't my style.

But I won't be here much longer; I'm
just passing through,
However, if someone challenges me
they'll be sad they drew.

In the corner of my eye, I see some-
one walking my way,
I don't want to wound a man today or
have him be prey.

I slowed down my horse and greeted
him with a nod,
He drew his gun and pulled his trigger
but missed, I was awed.

I jumped off my horse, grabbed my gun
and shot him dead,
He didn't have a chance to shoot back
he fell like lead.

Mounted my trusted friend and left that
ghost of a town,
It seemed odd that the onlookers were
no longer around.

I didn't want to relive my gun fighting
days but I'm no coward,
That day, I put my old life behind me
and it's happy trails onward.

*I haven't a clue if this is correct, but I decided to
give it a go.

~Another Fairyland Story - An Unexpected Visitor- Part 1
(Short Story or Narrative poem)

It was very early in the morning when I was just having

What I thought was a very good time relaxing all by myself

And remembering all the wonderful times that now have gone by

Since another year had come and left again here in Fairyland.

It has been all to tell the truth not all that great all the time

Since there has been quite some days that I wish rather not

Remember now especially today when all seem to be so sad.

I was about to embark in another one of my exciting journey

When all of sudden I heard what sounded like my front door

Opening and right there behold came bouncing in with a big grin

My very good friend and roommate the Mouse, who just been

Himself as usual said his usual greeting with a very warm hello

And a happy wave of his hand in my direction as he spotted me

Sitting at the table and having my usual hot and nice cup of tea.

This afternoon I was having a very delicious blend of mint tea

With other few spices thrown in the mix to accentuate its favor.

I wavered my hand at him and smiling I said hello to him too and

Asked him to stepped in the dining room and invite him to have

A nice cup too and he told me grinning that he would be more

Than content and very happy to do it since he was in need of

Having my very good company and having a good conversation

With me and update me in some recent happenings in Fairyland.

So he came around and just sat in his usual chair, then served

Himself a very nice warm cup of mint tea too. Then he turned

To face me and started to share with me many things that have

Been Happening in Fairyland for the last 24 hours or so and I was

More than happy to hear what he was sharing with me when all

Of Suddenly I heard what sounded like a very tiny fainting little

Childs voice coming somewhere from where he sat and asked

Him if he's heard it too and then just smiling at me he dipped in

Deep into one of his shirt pockets and gently brought out ...

DREAM VISITOR

DREAM VISITOR
Welcome intruder of my private world
visiting me at the twilight of my sleep
finishing with me into the deep slumber.

Satisfying me into completeness
dream visitor, you have come again
to ravish me and to make me shy.

I see your shadow, I feel your presence
about me, you live inside me, lay atop of
my nudity, arousing sensuous stimuli,
causing spontaneous imploding- and tremors.!

My senses go haywire, starting a-fire, I am now lit.
You then let me shoulder in all that you have
induced. I lie there, desire-ring nothing-
squirming in tranquility.

Upon awakening I am shy, As I appear
to you in reality, somehow you have to know.
My brain has scattered as I fold-up like a
Chinese-fan before your very eyes

I run away when I see you in the day.
Afraid that my eyes may reveal, or betray me;
You must know, you were there in spirit and it seems.
In daylight you mock me.

When your spirit visits my dreams, it is impossible
that we are not both inclined, to have arrive at this apex
same time; Are you my coitus ghost?
fulfilling me to the utmost.?

In reality, when I see you, I lose all my of my faculties.
I avoid you in the daytime too; Upon laying eyes on you.
I forget what I came to say or do. If I look at you;
Immediately sensations rush through.

The fact of the matter is, like a school-girl I am flattered
At the twilight of my sleep you enter. As you ignite and
quell fires in me, ecstatically overwhelmed- You finish me.
leaving me conquered by your rapture' visitor.

O' intruder of my slumber- O' Dream visitor of mine.
I gain control by staying busy all the day;
wanting to exhaust myself - Thus the only way to
prevent your visit, I must, and keep you beyond
the barriers of my deep slumber.

Tonight, I deeply sleep, becoming totally
in-cognizant; You will need consent.
I must not lose control of my dreams.
I cannot lose control of my dreams to
this ravenous intruder who satisfies me beyond reality.!

Tonight, your spirit will not demand my flesh-
I wild hide behind the sound wall of exhaustion.
Even though I have never known such contentment,
O’ prowess of Morpheus. O' dream intruder-
the morning after is too confounding!

The Unwanted Visitor

THE UNWANTED VISITOR

He is slow and fast and always comes so sudden
If he pays you a visit, he will be an inevitable burden
He visits everybody he wants to, there is never exclusion
There is no age-bound; the old, young and the unborn are an inclusion
Everybody knows this visitor and why he visits and never wishes he visits
Death; the punctual visitor that leaves his host and hostess late when he visits.

If this visitor visits you, how will you welcome him?
He comes always to take not to give, what will you give him?
He is the time-keeper that doesn’t state the time and season he visits
If you happen to be the unlucky host, what time will you wish he visits?
The august visitor that visits every month unannounced to his timed hosts
Death; the wicked visitor that causes sorrow to all who relates to his timed hosts.

He does not just make things seem bad, he makes it worse
He is always the necessity that leaves every choice a curse
There may be but haven’t seen anyone who wants him around
In a twinkle of an eye, he can make a noisy hall absence of sound
For every suicide; seconds to go, anybody on suicide will wish to be alive
Death; the unwanted inconsiderate visitor that never leaves his hosts alive.

Premium Member A Visitor In My Greenhouse

I went into the greenhouse to water the plants and flowers
It is my little haven I could stay there for hours and hours
The watering can was heavy with the precious rain
It has been very sunny so I was watering the plants again.

I watered the beans and peas, the tomato plants growing tall
I refilled the watering can; there wasn’t enough to do them all
Moved on to water the melons and the flowering courgette
When underneath the foliage something moved when it got wet

A black and brown toad leap up at me; I thought it was a dream
I dropped the watering can with fright and gave a little scream
Think the toad was pretty shocked at his impromptu shower
So I’ve left him to and hop back and hide under a gerbera flower
