Michelle, it appears that this was your first premier win. A worthy haiku, indeed. I happily discovered through the magic of google what a beautiful red and black bird this little tanager is, and was pleased to listen to its sweet song you poetically referenced. Well done, Michelle. I'd not heard of this bird before and was compelled to research this 'flame of spring'. I must admit, having heard the accompanying audio clip, I prefer to dwell on its beautiful appearance!
