Premium Member "evil Twin"

"Spiritual Narrative"

After life began, appeared “Evil Twin” mind’s obvious sin
‘Evil’ naught of nothing, using the power of love’s “something”
Giving rise to evil self, far to left, image of self
Love created, but mind deviated, it’s love abated

Love’s logic created Soul, but I am so bold, left heart’s gold
Lost in a wilderness mind, became the Soul of evil twin
Lost in it’s philosophies, mind’s logic of complexities
Has philosophically debated, Love that created

Saying, ‘how can this Love be the reality of me
I shall exalt above, this creation of heaven’s Love’
But crucifixion of mind regains Love’s self in time
As the mind is refined, Soul is re-aligned, with Love’s vine

Man’s discoveries, pieces of the recoveries, of true self
As pieces of the mind crucified, must learn to abide
From Love light’s truth cannot hide, reality has not lied
Being one with reality, God true technicality

Evil self is naught, except, in a mind of worldly thoughts
Live of your mind if your will, create life’s bitter pill
Your bitter pill will not spill, into Sacred Heart’s will
This proverb is proverbial, `Tis non swerve able

Within one’s love, one must abide, for on death’s cross it was tried
Also mind must abide, for on the cross was proven it lied
Death and life was set before, human mind to explore
To show evil twin, death’s sin, just no way for death to win

Make a tree good or make a tree evil, for is by man’s choice
Lie on God if your will, lie `Tis your own bitter pill’
`Tis by your own choice, by your own voice, `Good or Evil’
Death failed, life’s tree stands still, on yonder hill, alive and well

Destroyer Vs Gareth James (Round 2)

James Gareth is what you call me Destroyer
No charge but released by a good lawyer
A technicality as my names Gareth James!
That’s Gareth first, now I’ve shot you down in flames!

Oh, and my H.C. Hammers, did you want them back?
They may need a wash as they’ve been half way up my crack.
I know they are your favourite undercover police clothes
The cap that came with it, you want that back I suppose?

That must be the cap you was on about?

You shot me! Zap, Zap zigidy Zap
Is that all you could come up with? Put on your thinking cap!
Back to the drawing board, you must go
Find some words, none of yours offend me so!

I called you hot, I remember, for that I know
I meant the humid heat coming from your big toe!
My words of yesterday may rot like you said
Mother nature and I, we share the same bed ;-)

I’m surprised you know what a Haiku is?
Maybe you should hang in your gloves, and try a kids quiz?
I think you need to chose a brand new name
Your reputation now, has been shot down in a flame

Destroyed my poetry, for you have not
Your name again, remind me, for I have forgot?

(I said it would take me a while PD!!! Good fun to write though!!)
For poets seeing this for the first time, it is fun autherised fun between the poets involved!
No new blogs needed!!!

Premium Member 'who'

The one who lies
or the one lied to
~Who does the lie hurt more?

Note: In the last line, the word 'Who' technically should be 'Whom.'
The writer prefers that it remain a technicality.

Six Random and Rather Ridiculous Observations Concerning Love

1: If love is a game we need a referee
2: How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Um…
3: I loved her to death but got off on a technicality
4: Star-crossed lovers occasionally get crossed up and can get rather cross about it too
5: She stole my heart and REFUSED to return it so now I'm a heartless person
6: So I begged her to please have a heart and she said, “I already got TWO you idiot!”

Even More Somewhat Twisted Thoughts of the Day

ON THE ROCKS

Talk about bad luck, I hit rock bottom and broke a leg
One advantage to hitting rock bottom is at least I know which way is up now
I hit Rock’s bottom and he promptly kicked my bottom from one end to the other
It usually bottoms out when I hit rock bottom

WAXING PHILOSOPHIC (YEAH YOU MOPPED, BUT DID YOU WAX?... I THOUGHT NOT!)

A tree fell in the forest and a hearing impaired gentleman was nearby so it did NOT make a sound
You think, therefore you are and just who do think you are, anyway?
What does not kill me only makes me weak in the stomach when I am presented with the hospital bill
People who live in bakeries should not throw scones

DONCHA’ JUST LOVE IT?

Love is blind and keeps bumping into things
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! Um…
I loved her to death but got off on a technicality
Star-crossed lovers occasionally get crossed up and can get rather cross about it too

I SAW ONE THE OTHER DAY I SWEAR TO GOD I DID

I made a Snowman that frankly speaking, looked Abominable
The Abominable Snowman retired to Florida and melted on the spot
Bigfoot treated The Abominable Snowman and family to dinner and footed the entire bill (however, things got pretty hairy when his credit card was refused)
Bigfoot often puts his foot in his mouth and he’s got a big mouth too

YOU’RE A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS AND STOP ACTING LIKE A HORSE’S ASS, SMART-ASS AND MY ASS CAN WHIP YOUR ASS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK TOO

A mule got a species change operation and made a real ass of himself
So WHAT if I’ve got it all backwards? (You whole-ass- b_tch-of- a-son!)
Secretariat lost his ass in a High-Stakes poker game
A horse was unjustly discriminated against because it was a horse of a different color

My smart iPhone drowned, what a dread!
No purpose to get out of bed.
Can’t do without fidgets
With smarty pants digits
When my social life just dropped dead!

My buddy, from a dire grave fate,
I hastened to resuscitate.
My beloved device
I interred deep in rice -
Saved us both from desperate state!

It seems one trite banality
Of minor technicality.
The truth and the matter,
We’re addicted to latter -
Sweet virtual reality!

Though on technology we thrive,
For more exciting toys we strive,
Let’s put smart phones aside,
Out of sight, out of mind -
Let’s smarten up and live alive!

My smart iPhone drowned, what a thrill!
Hands free I go outside and chill.
My deflective device -
Silent, deep dug in rice.
I have been mastering live skill!

Emancipation

Clippity Cloppity
    Emily Davison
    confronted race horses
    losing her life

    dissident suffragette
    indiscriminately
    committed sabotage
    chaos and strife

    Hickory Dickory
    Leonora Cohen
    hunger strike ends with the
    cat and mouse ploy

    campaigning for justice
    legitimisation
    Scapegrace to magistrate
    ending in joy

    1 / 28 / 2021.

During the 1913 Epsom Derby, Emily Davison threw herself under King George V horse
Anmer. Dying from her injuries 4 days later.

Leonora Cohen in 1913 vandalised a display case containing the Crown Jewels in the
Tower of London. Defending herself, she was released on a technicality. After another act
of vandalism, she went on hunger strike while in prison, but was released early. This was
due to Lord Asquith's cat and mouse act. Giving prisoners time to recover, preventing
needless deaths while incarcerated. Leonora was trampled on by a mounted police horse,
during one protest march. She died aged 105 , serving as magistrate for 25
years and receiving the O.B.E. incidently she was born in the city of Leeds, where I too was
    born and bred.

Not Quite a Love Poem

If I was to write a love poem
I would write about the smallest things that fill my heart
And not the words that are spoken, but the moments
So quickly pass by, a hand moving a streak of hair,
The breath passing by the small of a curving neck,
And a spark of joy in the depth of brown eyes.

I would write about the care paid to trivial conversation
Followed by a gentle smile, a reply and engagement,
The full attention offered naturally, the bubble that
engulfs the lovers. Whether wealthy or poor
Warmth is lent to each other, being enriched
Consumed, leisurely imbued and returned.

If I was to write a love poem
I would not seek the rhyme or the rhythm nor
The technicality that makes it right or meaningful
I would simply follow the flow to reach
The "destination that is you" ending this sentence
And leading to a new inspiration, the beginning.

I would start counting the steps, perhaps twelve
Each one an elevation of joy, a breath much deeper
Than the one before. A feeding of desire and even
Hunger for that higher love. As each step ascends
Towards those ideals held closely guarded in ones heart.
The question being will we risk it all...

Premium Member Love- a Word of Consistency

In the beginning God’s word potential,
Was a word extremely essential,
In the eventual,
Formation, of the information,
Needed in creation,
And the substance of man,
In God’s plan,

Love’s consciousness force,
Has long since divorced,
By Old Testament's interjection,
The goat of carnal invention,
The source of all contention.
The pie in the sky,
Of carnal lie.
Man’s elation,
Into inflation,

Words and phrases, poems and rhymes,
Reflections of the times,
Arrest and contest, reflections ,
Needing inspections,
Complex googolplex,
The world is surely hexed,
All apart, from the heart,

Wherein is hyper-synchronicity,
Set on automatic consistency,
Of utter simplicity,
And the mutuality,
Of love’s vortex vitality,
Of all this is a reality,

Not of mind’s technicality,
Of invention,
The contention,
Of the complexity,
Of the lie,
About the pie,
In the sky,

In the beginning was the word,
The word was with God,
And the word was God!

Black Future

Little Boy with adventure in your eyes
What will you Future Hold?

Will your tousled hair twist into mighty dreads,
Mighty as that of the lion that roamed your motherland.
Will you be tamed,
Caged within the system by the wicked hand of man?
Will your hands be stained of statistic by an unjust law,
Political land mines in the front yard waiting to take your life.

Little Boy with adventure in your eyes.
What will your future hold?

Will you take the right path,
Or that of a new path paved by footsteps of your own.
Will you learn,
Education with a twist or philosophic wisdom like this this
Will you conform,
Suppress your voice & beliefs to majority and social norm?
Will you take each breath with a just morality,
Live with pride and righteousness but be viewed as a colored technicality.

Little boy with adventure in your eyes,
You hold your future.

Animals Are the True Role Models

Animals love,
How beautiful it is, that love
unconditional and pure
like the wind, it blows regardless of who you are.

Animals love
they do not judge,
regardless of who you are,
like the sun kissing your skin,
they'll love you
fore all are worthy of the sun's kisses.

To find a love as pure as that is rare
in anything but an animal,
but I lead by example.

You may say what you will,
you may judge me,
you may insult me
and call me unworthy.
But I shall love you.

You may judge my wallet,
and judge me for a lack
but I shall love you.

you may look at my face,
and judge me ugly
but I shall love you.

you may judge my character
or dislike my words
but I shall love you.

You may hate anything about me
and I shall love you just as strong

because this world is a beautiful place.
In its most pristine state, it is a place of love.
And life itself is a gift of love,
so everyone is entitled.

Animals love with innocence,
without boundaries or conditions,
animals fill this world with awe.

It's something to aspire for.
To love that purely, and without expectations.

In a world that's so focused on judging others,
on making them feel like they're less worthy of living
because of a technicality, and yet coming home to an animal
who'll never judge them and love them forever,
it's surprising how no one had figured out who the true role models should be.

It takes courage to be a good person in an evil world.
To follow your heart even when the world tells you that you need to conform to it's corrupt morals.
If more people dedicated themselves to loving like animals,
this world would be such a wonderful place to live,
...And true friendship wouldn't be as hard to find.

But in the meantime, if I'm screaming into the void,
my words going unheard and unseen,
if no one will love unconditionally
then I will love alone.

Humanity Before Paper

Subsistence defined by need, not want
A time when provisions made to survive
With no barriers; wealth not reality
Now a time when commercialism shadows death.
Purchase for consumption; nothing is free
Their poisons inserted, to see growth spiral
Populations diseased; their hunger satisfied
Success not a work of art, but a measure of worth .
Inventions praised; expense raised
Weapons more devastating, eyes only faucets
The world's end bound; prophesied by man, knowing his own hand.
Science a technicality of beauty; life not learned
Math bewildering; love confused
Reversion, a must; humanity's teachings before papers'.

Age Is Just a Number

Age is just a number
To everyone but me
If age is what you need
I wish I was seventy

I'm so tired of these conclusions
Being just a technicality
Look past all these rational thoughts
And lets just be happy

It's enough for me, I promise
If it's enough for you as well
I don't need anything else,
As far as I can tell

We both have grief and sorrow
Written on our face
But at each others side
Loneliness is in a losing race

Premium Member The Monster Within Me

While strolling through court corridors, many see many in grief,
but not me, I see opportunity,
such as with this court case now being held before me presently.
The defendant killed a college student while on a drunken driving spree
and this wasn't his first offense apparently,
but the judge decided to set him free
due to some legal loop hole technicality.
The decease's family was devastated understandably.
On some level I understand their frustration and grief,
I just can't feel it or feel anything emotionally.
Enjoy your borrowed time sir for as long as you can freely.
My dark passenger has informed me that we are destined to meet
and on that encounter your life will end, ended by me.
No more havoc upon any more innocent lives will you ever again reap.
I'm not trying to serve justice for anybody.
I'm attempting to quench the uncontrollable hunger of the monster within me
without preying upon the innocent and weak.
I'm a monster with a conscience it would appear to be.
