Best Shoreline Poems
The ocean waves come rolling in
There’s not a soul in sight
With heaving breath they break on shore
And burst in brilliant white.
The sound of wind is in the air
The jutting rocks stretch high
Tall redwood trees defiant stand
So tough, and yet they sigh.

Poem of the Day ~ 2nd April, 2015.
Watching sunrise, shoreline's ablaze
Love letter sent from Thee
I sing a psalm, an Easter palm
And start my day with glee.
Watching sunset, shoreline's agleam
A note Thou sent with smile
I heave a sigh, a love's reply
And thank God for this isle.

Eyes staring at the fading sun
as my lover sailed away
tears became the shoreline
she hated my tortured mind
I hated the river
of depression
The river waved good bye
In waiting...
for the touch of the ocean upon her toes
for the whisper of the tide in her ear
and the scent of salt-spray in her hair
In waiting...
For the echo of the dunes ,and sounds
of empty shells behind her back
In waiting..
For the falling of fresh water drops against her skin
and a crispy breeze cooling the air
In waiting..
She catches herself gazing
towards the fine line at the far edge
Watching ripples here... and there...
beneath soaring sea-gulls
Seeking a reflection in waters
where once pebbles were tossed
Hearts drawn, and short novels read.
In waiting..
She strolls along the sea-shore , She wonders...
Is it the same ocean, sand, tide , that He lstens to,that He feels
Is it the same ocean, sand , tide that He shares ,that He sees.
Is it the same sunrise which kisses her cheek-bones
that warms up his breath and dries up a tear
Five hours and five million miles away
Is it the same solitude that captures
his moment ,without her return.
In waiting...Always...Forever... In waiting
Inspired by Dido 's song 'Sand in my Shoes '.
The panorama's full-blown dreary
My legs and feet uncommon weary
Birds unseen, private counsel keep
Silent shoreline, ocean deep
My eyes espy a mallard duck forlorn
bobbing up and down on white-capped waves
His summer friends and feathers winter-shorn
Would the icy water prove his grave?
Hark! On far horizon a ray of yellow shines
O, would the friendly sun return in time
To lift the hearts of mallard duck, and me
'fore daylight plunges back into the sea
morning butterflies
flutter through sunlit sea caves
tide waters rush in
Written on 6/30/2015
the surf relentlessly pounding
always teasing the shore
leaving hints of its mystery
treasures, bits of sea lore
now I walk this lonely shoreline
the gulls follow my trail
tasting the salts of yesterday
on the wind dreams set sail

Let Me Feel Your Lines
"shoreline"
Strolling 'long Bermuda's shoreline,
Waves caressing our toes.
Whence they come and whither they go,
No mortal really knows!
We stroll 'neath the moon's mellow glow,
To a secluded cove.
Though age hath taken its toll, we,
Relive our youthful love!

Glowing with tumid buds hern taut convex bear the frore morning tide's touch
*'bout thuh title, it wuz the only
way to share this Monoku with
y'all on one line ") it's a special
one for a special girl ')

.. though the waves
violently swirl
and splash about,
.. though they fiercely
gnarl and roar,
the rippling wavelets
woo and caress,
lap and gently kiss
the soft shore ..
.
Delicate quartet,
nigh crushed underfoot.
Chatoyant seashells,
gifted to my Love.
Exotic necklace,
henceforth worn with pride.

I am standing at the shoreline of my mind;
Tender thoughts lap like gentle waves and
trickle onto the sand.
You hold my hand
and I love you.
It is peaceful here in this heavenly haven;
the undulating sea sings a lullaby
of happiness as
you hold my hand
and I love you.
The sun rises on the horizon of my consciousness.
It peeps over the edge of reason and
glistens, sparkling on the water.
You still hold my hand
and I love you.
The fronds of forgiveness infiltrate the fibres
of my fabric and the blurred vision in
the eye of my mind is cleared now.
You will always hold my hand
and I'll love you.
Receding Shoreline
Throbbing heartbeats rise,
Patience draws a line in the sand,
Tears swallow my pride,
Turbulence persuades the tides,
Anguish engulfs the shoreline !

I can see it now
And I hope you will too
That even though you’re happy
I’m perfect for you
The day will come
You will have to choose
Leave your lover
With nothing to lose
With our love
There’s nothing to hide
You are the one
My heart’s guide
So come into my life
Right by my side
Gently and as naturally
As A Shoreline Tide
Serene surge of peace,
A scene of tranquil waters;
Engulfed by nature.
