Receding Shoreline

Receding Shoreline

Throbbing heartbeats rise,
Patience draws a line in the sand,
Tears swallow my pride,
Turbulence persuades the tides,
Anguish engulfs the shoreline !

Wonderful images, message in your words Upma. I agree with Sara, it's a winner in my eyes, James :)

Top marks for this lovely Tanka, Upma. Love how "Patience draws a line in the sand"; the end line is great! #7 // I wish you a blessed and happy Easter. // paul
