Best Multiplies Poems

Night Sky

Behold, a crack in the sky...
Its a star ! And then it multiplies...
A thousand million
 silver twinkling confetti...
Galactical milk in celestial ballet
Your white bedazzle takes the breath away
Soapsudded moon and underwater candellabra
In an ocean of quiet delivery
Oozes a rhapsody, nay a symphony!
Gliding on golden orbital slide
A bridal comet gown on fluted notes
MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT! MAGNIFICAT!

Premium Member Love Is the Force

Tender touch gently soothes an ailing soul
Wordless discourse greets eyes of love
A mother's hug comforts her child's ego
Love is the force that makes the world go

Kinder hearts ache sensing others' pain
A prayer mightily calls for suffering to end
Flowers of goodwill shed feelings of woe
Love is the force that makes the world go

Words of care resonate in any language
Noble deeds of strangers justly amaze
A message of peace triumphantly echos
Love is the force that makes the world go

Love received, gives, and regenerates
It multiplies, compounds, and propagates
Love is the force that elevates the world

                 the sparkling water
flows with the light of the stars
                 shining from the top

                  the finch at feeder
It's a house that looks like home
                 they are comfortable

                  there's a tint of green
               emanating from the field
                    empty but peaceful

                    many shades of blue
              layer the mountains around
                       beauty multiplies

                         the sun has risen
                 gratitude has been shining
                        it's a choice to see

Inside My Computer

My computer-- disassembled
is a maze of cables, drives
chips and ports--an array
of connections, silver solderings,
twisting wires.

But when the satiny case
is latched in place
coils and cables disappear.
The smallest particle of matter
is not an atom, but a byte--
a particle of magic that combines
and multiplies unseen
inside the blinking box.

Creation occurs inside my computer--
friends, family rest behind the pressing
of selected keys. Words and faces
form; smiles and frowns
become feelings.
Attraction becomes addiction.

Inside my computer
merchants buy and sell--
musicians sing,
artists train pictures into pixels,
poets recollect emotion in tranquillity.

Inside my computer
dreams are imagined into reality--
inventions, hopes, ideas are born
and nurtured into happenings.
Strangers share a table, touch
hands across the world.

Inside my computer
the pulse of human hearts
waxes and wanes
as people fall in and out
of love.

Coffee Cup Calculations - Poet's Cut

Based on BBC news article "Maths zeroes in on perfect cup of coffee"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-37989169

Two billion cups a day we drink
To stay awake so we can think
Tireless workers - every nation
Need a caffeine drink equation

Lattes, mochas, cappuccinos
Our calculator super heroes
Measured, reasoned, wrote a theorem
Clockwork system - mighty fearsome

Divide the beans and add hot water
Multiplies the bean aroma
Takes away the taste chaotic
Get this right - it's sums and logic

China cups the theory goes
Helps the smell go up you nose
Cardboard mug with plastic roof
Not as good, but where's the proof?

But their reason's most disjoint
Like whole numbers - has no point
You just need a rule of thumb
QED for us dumb-dumbs

Premium Member Gift of Love

Regardless of our faith, in Love we can believe,
For Love's within us all, if we choose to retrieve.
Should we choose to leave Love in a dormant state,
Then we invite into our heart the bitterness of hate.

Those who believe in the power of Love,
Radiate and spread around all the beauty of.
Those who deny Love to flourish within their heart,
Spread misery around, since it's all they can impart.

We have all been blessed with the greatest Gift,
Though some choose to away from Love, drift.
The presence of Love or not is always crystal clear
In how we treat others; how others we revere.

Love is not selfish, cruel, apathetic, unforgiving;
Does not embrace greed or a miserable way of living.
Instead, Love is selfless, compassionate, and kind,
With consideration for others a natural state of mind.

Love is not ego serving, boastful and bragging;
Doesn't tune out a guilty conscience nagging.
Instead, Love is humble, modest, and reserved;
Accountable and accepting of what's deserved.

Love is not jealous, envious, resentful, or bitter;
Nor shallow, spineless, a flip-flopping fence sitter.
Instead, Love cultivates virtue, values, and integrity,
Making real in oneself a comfortable place to be.

When, our Gift Of Love, we cultivate with care,
We then reap to scatter Love seeds everywhere,
Always hoping they'll take root in another's garden bed,
Where there's being tilled the opposite of Love, instead.

When in our hearts we grow Love, we never have to feel
Afraid that another will come along and from us, steal
What we are growing and therefore, in possession of,
Because all they can take from us is some of our Love.

Once in the thief's possession, Love can only grow,
Infiltrate and change the current seeds they sow.
So, when we give the Gift Of Love and without request,
We can know in our heart we have given the very best.

In this day and age of money taking precedence,
Love is still free to receive and to dispense.
Love cannot be bought nor can Love be sold,
Making the Gift Of Love untouchable by gold.

We need not save our Love for special times and places,
Just for special occasions and to gladden special faces,
For the magic of Love is released every time we give
And multiplies within us when the Gift Of Love we LIVE!

Even in her weakness,
her adoration multiplies
oh...... the animals are also not left out
as the serpent of the wilderness
finds grace under her shadows
and the dragons of the forests
dance to her hymns.

Of all the men showcasing their might,
the strong, the rich, the mighty and the elegant;
the wise, the intelligent, the skilled and the glamorous
you looked down and smiled at me.
This is a world which seems not true.

your choice of me, seized my consciousness
but I immediately came back to Life
because I also found you on the other side
this shows how you have taken over my being.
I'm not even worthy of your competition
yet you broke the rules you created to make me yours.

I am now indebted to you
and my Life, the definition of your choices.
My breathe will be the function of your will,
your Love?
I cling unto it like a cub to its mother.

I never thought I will meet your gaze
but now I possess your thighs.
I never imagined feeling your touch
but now, I experience your warm embrace.
I never thought I could hold your hands
but now, your body belongs to me.

I will cherish every part of you,
take care of every of your needs
and ensure your glow never goes faint.

I'll take the bites of several wolves
to ensure your feet doesn't go red.
I'll persevere the fall from several logs
to ensure you never have a headache
and I'll absorb the heat of the red hot furnace
to ensure your skin doesn't go rough.

All I'm saying honey,
is, I will love you much more than you can ever imagine.
having you is an undeserving blessing.
Loving you is staying deservedly blessed.

The Poem In the Picture One

Hungry stomach and hungry voice
Choice of the capitalists
Skin and bone girls and boys
Their creature and they rejoice

Words and paints latent in their look
Contents of a hundred books
In those naked socket of their eyes
Variety of hunger multiplies

They come and they go
Flutes of skeleton playing with turmoil
Hapless sons of the soil
Born with the desire to say no

Two handsome young faces
In their nation-made ungraces
Posters depicting street protest
Against the sucker pests

Poems in their dormant breasts
Lurking in their scorning look
Blending with gainless cry
Empty hopes in the still false sky

There's a cloned avatar of the mystical moon
for dreamers in search of a beaming wave
amidst alienated alliterations,
waltzing in zig-zag within my cyborg mind.

I still find neon lights,
that teleport rhyme-less runes
to a realm of subtracted sorrow,
concluding splitting seconds
within divided despair.

Yet, when midnight melancholy multiplies,
murky minutes turn into jumbled jargon.
And Venus emanates clusters of sparkling rays,
flipping letters into endless equations
with amethyst auroras.

So tonight, I'll dance like a flying saucer~
to the magnetic tunes of swirling sapphires,
cosmically cruising above the cyber
canvas of accelerated dreams.

Revelation Now As Then

When The White Horseman rides you will know.
Retribution and Conquest prevail,
only their names and faces
changeable and interchangeable,
and healing is buried in silent craft.
The White Horseman rides, we know.

When The Red Horseman rides you will know.
No peace is split by war
for no real peace could ever be,
and war splits only war
and multiplies its wars.
The Red Horseman rides, we know.

When The Black Horseman rides you will know.
In shadow of war and shadow of drought
and shadow of master’s avarice,
Famine places its arbitrary touch
on man, woman, child, eaten by their own.
The Black Horseman rides, we know.

When The Pale Horseman rides you will know.
Death arrived by its own devices
and persists at its own strange whim,
fallen the vanquished and the victor alike
and fallen the rabble between.
The Pale Horseman rides, we know.

“Fair fa’ your honest, sonsie, face
Great Chieftain o’ the Puddin-race!”
“Address To A Haggis”, Robert Burns, 1786.
(Keeper o’er the Fourth Kingdom)

Robert, Robert, Fourth Kingdom
Gate Keeper.
No Telestial glory
Befits the poet deeper!

Wherefore is thy legacy
Robert Burns, regretfully
Wherefore is thy Haggis?
Thy Puddin’ flees before thee.

Thy Hippopotami give birth
Purple, purple, such deliver
The royal eggplant hatchling
That multiplies the giver!

Celestial porridge is thy claim
As such befits thy story
But no resplendent poet name
Perpetuates thy glory

Terrestial kingdoms blissfully
Reject that higher leaven
But thou hast won, delectably
That Kingdom Fourth of Heaven!

Colors waltz in a rainbow kaleidoscope
cynosure of sun sparks steel drum teams
Emerald elms embrace periwinkle sky
among fragrant spikes of purple lupines.

Monet and Van Gogh are arm-in-arm
spin a diaphanous color wheel off charts
               starry night, yellow circumduct swirls
over white water lilies on mirror ponds.

Consider both humanity and nature
emollient color splits and multiplies
A flamenco actor will kick and clap
Hot crimson ethereal feeling whirling flies.

Gold and yellow dance to evocative music
downpour is brought on by charcoal gray
rain and brightness dance across earth
awaking felicity from fugacious winter sleep.

Akin to a roulette ball of a gossamer color
gambling my emotional imbrication away
winning when the ball stops in blue
dancing sea and sky arouse my day.

What Is Love

I often ask the man in me
If I lost love would I still see
That midnight star that shines so bright
To warm me on the coldest nights
Like an angels tear it brings the rain
To wash my wounds and heal my pain
Such wonder must be heaven sent
And every chance I bathe in it
So is it really fair of me
To question what God’s given thee
Which warms me when I see your face
Yet multiplies when we embrace
And as I watch you in your sleep
Drifting off to somewhere deep
I stay awake till night has left
To make sure you don’t miss a breath
Again I ask the man in me
Just what is love and now I see
That love is pure and always true
Stays by your side so love is you….

Premium Member Blessings Are Mine

Blessings, saturated in God’s favor, fruitful, divine. You have yours. Here is a mind full of mine:

Agápe, a selfless love, contains all of God’s goodness and grace.
Baptism, an open air declaration; bath of Bathsheba, forgiven.
Clear conscience, nothing to hide - my dirty rag washed clean.
Depths of the wonders of God goes on and on and on, forever.
Everlasting life as fellow heirs of Christ; a precious kingdom key.
Forgiveness for we are all guilty - He lets us touch His hem.
Grace spoken; I am not in the sights of God’s wrath - thankful.
Helpings from friends folded hands; they share in answered prayers.
I AM — he knocked down opponents who stood up, nailed Him to a cross.
Just as I am, I was called, though knee deep in misery, He saved me.
Klepto - why steal from God? He lets me keep ninety percent — blessed.
Larger than life one may say, but He is life...
Multiplies what we need, what we ask for - God takes joy in this.
Name change — not what we see, but what He sees — our best.
Offering of praise brings heaven to us, changes things.
Psaltery of emotions, lets us know we are not alone in this flesh.
Questions of Jesus, pondered and extrapolated, deep answers.
Rapture, knowing we will also return with Him and angel armies.
Serendipities- God’s surprises better than gold.
Tree of life - I can’t wait to try its choice fruit - finders keepers.*
Under His wings, I have refuge.
Vision in the circle - as we envision God, He appears.
Weary, I do not faint, mounting on the wings of an eagle — soar...
Xray of strong bones, dry bones reborn.
Years spent studying His word pays dividends of wisdom and peace.
Zephyr breath of Holy Spirit, a gift that speaks.

Speaking quite frankly, I must say,
The burden of time grows heavier each day.
Reason stares cruelly, but I can only view blankly.
Growing angrier, shortsighted, and cranky.

In the past three hundred and sixty-five days,
Each moment seems to bestow the weight that stays.
Tasks pile up, deadlines loom,
Tick-tock of the clock as impending doom.

Days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months,
And before I realize it, another year confronts.
I cannot escape it, no matter how I try.
The burden of time only multiplies.

My youth is long gone, never to return.
Anile age creeps in, and I start to yearn.
For the days when time seemed to fly by,
When life was simple, I didn't need to try.

But now, with each passing moment, I feel the strain.
The weight of my responsibilities drives me insane.
