Heidi Sands Poet Haiku

Nature Haiku

                 the sparkling water
      flows with the light of the stars
                 shining from the top

              
                  the finch at feeder
      It's a house that looks like home
                 they are comfortable


                  there's a tint of green
               emanating from the field
                    empty but peaceful


                    many shades of blue
              layer the mountains around
                       beauty multiplies


                         the sun has risen
                 gratitude has been shining
                        it's a choice to see

Marikate Kingston June 29, 2026 at 7:06 PM What a sensory poem. I can almost smell it. My favorite color is blue. Painted blue mountains are so beautiful. Your fourth group of lines are my favorite.
