Rain drops fall fast, like flying frond,
Creating ripples in the pond,
It's pouring hard, just as forecast,
I watch the showers spill steadfast,
Like waters gushing from beyond...
Spurred on by rain, new life has spawned,
Buzzing and croaking night has dawned,
The sky remains dark, overcast,
Rain drops fall fast...
With the rain, my tears correspond,
Thinking of you and our dream bond,
Your death has still left me aghast,
Never have I felt so downcast,
Ignoring my slough of despond,
Rain drops fall fast...

All pie-eyed, I leapt up in the sky to defy
And to decry my flightless plight, that I deny.
I made my wings of feathers, wax and strings,
All strung together with rings, springs and other things.
But aghast, I flew too high, too close to sun's hot blast,
The wax dripped, alas I slipped and fell, like a pie downcast.
The truth stood downcast in the lie;
she never thought he'd say goodbye.
It all was there in stark, plain sight;
the things he did were just not right.
His promises made her heart fly...
the truth stood downcast in the lie.
She thought she was the only one;
he swore 'forever'...then was done.
His words were gifts for her to hear,
allegiance to her loud and clear.
The truth stood downcast in the lie;
her two-faced liar said goodbye.
So easily he said those things
that fed the comfort true love brings.
But she was blinded, left to sigh...

thinking it was better this way;
time would, our feelings, nullify
and let the mem’ry fade away.
Silhouettes hugging on a pier
the truth stood downcast in the lie:
“I’ll be home soon, no need to fear”
And quiv’ring sobs, her sole reply.
Off to battle! By hue and cry,
we parted ways, this time for good.

"I cannot love you, as I should."
Locked in an unmarked, makeshift tomb
rampant regret, my lullaby…
upon her heart to ever loom,

crestfallen, I wither in dust,
I have drowned in rivers of dry,
you have drowned in oceans of lust.
Fading into ashes I burn,

prevarication tables turn,
honesty that bleeds can’t comply.

I will grant no absolution,

We met, and vowed not to stand by
Through solar and wind we’d stop this
But some cared first for their wallets
Consumed by industrial drive
The truth stood downcast in the lie
In chasing their personal wealth
They’d ruin our homes and our health
Markets profit from our burden
They’ll claim the facts are not certain
The truth stood downcast in the lie
Until waters began to rise
We must fight to make change on Earth
For the sake of all she has birthed
And into the light we might guide

Through this road of sorrow i walk in pains
Looking up to the gathering cloud of
Thunderous rain
Downcast.
I was pushed to the world as an outcast.
My spirit groaned and wailed.
The soil hated my footsteps
Just as the sun hit my eyes as i looked it in the face.
in the air, On the water, where they have traced their signs
Fear a silent man, he has lips like a drum.
Nothing have i done that pleases men,
Even the water are scared of me.
If i narrate gently, gently, you won't believe
That the rain fall not in my home
And the winds keeps away from me.
In misery i was born
Could it be i die in misery?
They hated where i stepped on Just as i give ears
To their cries, to their wild appeal
However, they despised me horribly.
Upon this mountain i howl everyday,
I have held out my fingers red with blood.
Blood from bruises, blood from within.
I dared not look into their faces nor talk without fear.
My stomach kept rumbling harshly
No food and water to feed in.
The heart of the wise man lies quiet like limpid water.
I am down cast by men,
Discriminated and thrust to the wall.
My spirit seek nothing but love
But It received reproach in return And
Became scared to live.
If i cry roughly of my torment
What eyes would watch my large mouth?
Sad complaining of the voiceless<
Who shall hear me without laughter?
When the moon is shinning,
the cripple becomes hungry for a walk.
Although the heart has it own reason which the reasons
It self ignore.
I wish i could be listen to and care for.
But,
i see dark torment each time i close my eyes.
My legs shivered at the sight of them .
In case you see me soliloquizing
It is not fault.
I have seen hell in their hands
Enslaved and maltreated like a slave,
Drenched by the rain with no cause.
My right they have taken openly
And no soul stand to fight for me.
i know someday it shall be well
Soon or later i shall be accepted and live like others.

with flattery, your head held high
you ripped apart a trusting heart.
A predator without a name
the truth stood downcast in the lie
you stole her worth, you had no shame
inflicted wounds that would not die.
Feigning sadness, you would deny
your horrible, abusive acts

cried false tears, belittled the facts.
She clearly saw her grave mistake
the devil's gleam was in your eye
while no remorse showed on your face
