The Truth Stood Downcast
The truth stood downcast in the lie
All the truths like the sun moon and
The stars stood confused and upset
The beautiful white owl lay killed
A gang of drunk youth in wild dance
The truth stood downcast in the lie
For the sake of pursuing fun
They took full leave of their blue sky
The friendly old beloved owl
Sat on the wall like a wise bard
The truth stood downcast in the lie
As the hollow youth stoned it hard
The old men gathered in the park
Next morning, the sun did not rise
They said world had killed its wisdom
The truth stood downcast in the lie
