Premium Member Constructor of my Own Chaos
This poem was written alongside the painting Pentimento by Sally Storch.

I absorbed the image, beyond the capture -
        it soaked into my throat
   saturated, became the ever-after
    eyes are unseeing but for...

I am like faded leaves,
beneath my frail feet,
failing your forbidden name
that crushed the petals of
blossoming hopes,
dusted with dark
obsidian nightmares,
enclosed in
seeds of discontent,
sprinkled by sleeping
black dragonflies,
resting on fruitless twigs,
in vales of solitude.

Perhaps nature too
feels the pain I’ve been
carrying when
invisible thorns pierce
my fragile...

“Special are the ones that see beyond veiled verses,
behind violet smiles, so much is spoken in silence, where cosmic chaos
are scattered amidst the twinkling constellation cracked into seething seas of raw madness”

I remember how I bathed
in the...

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Myself In Urban Chaos
Here I go again, focused on myself.
Remembering, analyzing,
Memorializing tragedy.
Thinking, endless thinking.
Suicides, death of grandmas, past loves.
Pining about passions and losses.
The condo I had to let go.
The jobs I left behind.
And the cemetery lots.
My mind wonders around in circles.
From darkness to darkness, city to city,
Job to...

Premium Member My Cousin Chaos
A cousin named Chaos have I (he’s not actually my cousin. He’s like my aunt’s stepson, but I guess I can still call him a cousin, right?)

There’s nothing that he will not try (like the day he let all the chickens loose from the coop...

Breathing In Chaos
the crickets break the silence
of the still, dark night

the leaves stir in hushed waves
as the wind whispers past

the moon hides…
shy behind her veiled curtain,

she lets tears flow instead

no crickets chirp
the leaves weep
as the winds wail

and I—

I breathe in the chaos,
feel the cold
dampen the...

Chaos Mathematics
can't even fart anymore
without kicking up a hurricane
halfway around the Earth
according to reports this has occurred
at a great loss of life and mind
within minutes of the methane
the dominoes began to rumble
and poor Flash who was
merely greeting the morning sun
became history's first flatomaniac
Flash was burly with...

Premium Member Seven For Chaos and Order-Rebirth
Tomorrow reveals a quiet world with words unspoken
From a tender love that was ravaged and lost
A heart once rich now poor and broken
By yesterday's betrayal and the amount it cost

Yet in coldest dark there's a flickering light
To shine and glow where your shadows form
Its splayed...

Ah, Wind, we've known each other so long.
While creatures run quickly from your side,
I've tried to find kindness in your song
but your howls become hard to abide.

You loudly roar blowing doors ajar,
trees bent weary by ceaseless pummel.
I hear your rumble, beginning far
announcing yourself, never...

"I would rather be on a leaky ship that is mine, than aboard a more seaworthy vessel going where I don't wish it to go"—Poet's alter ego

Yes, I know what I’m doing
I’m the master of my fate
The captain of the sinking ship
Seeking harbor in ports...

Premium Member When You See a Storm Is Coming
When the sky begins to rumble,
and the clouds are both black and gray.
I think it may be God’s signal,
and a good time for man to pray.

For like when a storm is coming,
or it’s just a chaotic day.
It’s a sign that things are changing,
and a...

Premium Member The Conclusion of the Delusion
Evil creeps upon the face of the earth
Like lengthening shadows in a hot sun
All that it touches loses its true worth
Chaos and delusion, have now begun

The ultimate illusion has caught man
There is no stopping it until the end
Driven by greed instead of one’s need
It will...
