Best Blabber Poems
The series "Despicable Me,"
we've flocked to theaters to see.
Wee minions--cute creatures--
and bad guys each features.
To all we respond with great glee.
I never dreamed five years ago
that I would soon dash to and fro
in search of these minions--
in children's opinions,
all treasures. How well I now know!
Some kids possess minions galore:
the one-eyed, the two-eyed, and more.
They giggle and jabber;
"BANANA," some blabber.
Their odd appeal, who could ignore?
My grandson's like other young boys.
For Christmas he craved minion toys.
His loved ones went shopping
for hours, not stopping
till we found gifts he now enjoys.
The minion-themed presents I gave
were puzzles, a cool talking Dave,
a pillow with three guys
with one or two huge eyes.
For these he did hug me and rave.
` I'm glad to say just one thing more:
Fart Blaster, I left at the store!
The child would have driven
me nuts if I'd given
him that thing; but Dave, I adore.

The rhyming scheme of a limerick is aabba.
An ogre is seldom awakened by poetic lines
but he shakes his fists trying to slander others.
I laugh at his desperate attempts at writing.
Delighting in his flawed efforts at metaphors.
On all fours this ogre creeps around like a spider
Oh what distorted webs he dares to weave...
when he deceives those who do not know
his penchant for whining and absurd cries of wolf.
He aspires to climb to the peak of a mountain
but fails miserably with each witless haiku.
Do not fear in the false bravado of the daft beast,
but feast on his raves as he digs his own grave.
Imagery is lost among his gibberish blabber...
a rather nondescript description of such bluster.
His script is not clever, thought he thinks it is so.
He doesn't scare me or those who know... whatever
Inanity is the work of such a bootlicking fool...
a tool who yammers thinking he impresses others,
but a jester dances for those who seek a false throne.
Does that ring with a piffle of drivel to anyone but me?
"You'll find more peace in your life if you refuse to listen to idle chatter."
~ by poet
When a squirrel does it, he sounds like the Madd Hatter
But when doves coo it, it's more like romantic chatter
Chickens cluck pecking for grain that makes them fatter
and Meerkats jabber as a warning signal to "SCATTER!"
Often defined as the noises made by monkeys and birds
but I've heard such gibberish spoken by humans in words
and clinical conversations of dialogue by high-tech nerds.
I wonder if baaing and neighing is chatter among herds.
Chatter can also be considered as gossip or tittle-tattle
or as irrelevant talking, which is idle or foolish prattle.
Perhaps used in bovine circles as mooing among cattle
and the goo goo sound of a baby when shaking a rattle.
I've known a talker or two who I'd label chatter bugs
who can become more annoying then crawling slugs
That's not the kind of people I'd want to give big hugs
for their chatter might persist until I'd need ear plugs.
There's muttering and piffling, cackling and yammers
who'd talk day and night til you put on your jammers.
With nonstop chit chat, they blabber in noisy clamours
until you can make it stop with whacks from hammers!

Writing Challenge - C Words Contest
Sponsored by Constance La France
Twenty politicians standing on a wall
Oh what fun to see some fall,
Blabber, blabber, rue the day
They talk and talk but little say.
Yet they shout and argue too
About what I challenge you
To then repeat what they have said,
The mere thought just blows my head.
Each loves the sound of their own voice
And stand before us all by choice,
To have us judge who it shall be
With each one saying, me me me.
But like Pied Piper with his flute
The call to watch we can’t refute,
We sit and stare, comment and whine
As some just flounder past the line.
Yet for one the end is sweet
The entire cake they’ll get to eat,
Battered, bruised and mighty sore
Now almost at that White House door.
I am not always the smartest
Often times I appear not to be smart at all
My mind rambles
My eyes skip words
My lips speak without hesitation
Stumbling over my sentences
Incoherent blabber
I crawl inside myself
Whispering reassurances
They are meaningless phrases
My insecurities wont allow
The possibility that I could believe them
I am discouraged easily
Even my feet are not smart
Clumsy and tripping over air
Wife - "Once I kept you locked in my heart
But now I release you like a fart
So that I can have a fresh start"
Husband – "Once I disobeyed God
So, He put on my back a heavy load
Now I pray, take this load off my shoulder, my Lord"
Wife - "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Like Humpty, if ever you have a great fall
I will never come running at your call"
Husband - "Horsey, Horsey, don’t you stop?
Why blabber like an idiot nonstop?
If you have no work, go and mop"
Wife - "Oh! Tut...This is why I strongly say
Dogs like you should be left to stray
How, from men like you, I wish to stay away"
Husband - "Then why linger? You may boldly walk away
How I wish to rid of a 'Donkey' who can only bray"
Wife – "With a man like you, do you think I will again stay?
Never! But for making my life a mess you should pay"
On the first day of classes, everyone was excited
To meet old friends, though new ones could be sighted
Old or new she welcomed us warmly
Wearing a smile, what a sight so lovely!
She was like our second mother
When things got rough or even harder
She knows when to be carefree or strict
Depending on the class' unpredictable flick
In the way you taught us, only one thing's evident
A method of teaching, a tactic, an element
You do not just teach and blabber all day
But you made us understand everything all the way
In times when other people would shun us down
You were the sole creature who'd lift us from the ground
You drove the mounds of doubt away
And found our courage that had gone astray
We're afraid that this poem's coming to an end
But we hope you'll gather what we mean to portend
We thank God for giving us an exceptional guardian
Happy Teacher's Day, our great mathematician.

If I don't turn around and leave this place
I'll surely explode and punch you in the face
You have no clue it's manure you spread
I'm feeling so angry I'm seeing red
Like a Chinese torture words drip on my head
You blabber so much I wish you were dead
The words you say are like nails in my brain
Piercing it over and over again
I hang my head down looking at my shoes
You have the power so I sing the blues
If only you'd stop things might be okay
Yet you keep going on day after day
What are you thinking as you talk and talk
I need to get away go out for a walk
If I do not you're in for a surprise
It's hard to see out of two blackened eyes
My poetry soup friends, do not worry I am not in a bad place.
Thinking back to being a kid and wishing I wasn't powerless.
Once there was a man called Blabber, the horn
gears forward uncompromising in his philosophy to drown
"All are wrong,I am right"
"All err, I am perfect"
bloody could blabber be technically right? no crown.
Manipulation
Doctrines, Orders, at times, Education
Aim to accomplish manipulation!!
Message permanently caged in store;
Is a hand working puppet from the core!!
You either learn to change your mind
Or learn to change your humankind!!
Civilisations that we blindly receive
Humanities will permanently bereave!!
Claptrap compels you to avidly learn:
“Boy, good Titles are a thing to earn,”
On split boots, bendy legs then stagger
Weighed down by on-the-job blabber!!
Nay, clever and lively children we bear
Till by controls at School learn to fear!!
And, many cartoons that on TV feature
Educate infantile minds to fear nature!!
For, with a villain’s loud, eerie growl
Tells minds that evils are on the prowl!!
Invariable evils, minds they manipulate
To fear Good and Villains to emulate!!!

Some people spreading rumors
Talking about the illuminati
Saying it’s the new world order
Raising a lot of conspiracy theory
The way the world is today
A lot is left daze and confuse
So they come up these stories
Just to make their self amuse
The illuminati did exist centuries ago
But only for their own protection
From the powerful Roman Catholic church
To avoid arrest and persecution
The Roman Catholic Church theory
Is that around the sun the earth rotate
And until the church lost it powers
They enforce that philosophy without debate
The illuminati was group of intelligent minds
Respected scientists. And Philosophers
And if they don’t agree with church logics
They were prosecuted as witchcraft followers
Rumors of the New World Order as its call
About the Illuminati taking over the world
Was just to discredit the intelligent minds
And to stop then truth from being told
The Illuminati ceased to exist
After The Roman Catholic Church fall
Science could be pursued openly
And its finding can be reveal to all
The members of the illuminati at the time
Consist of the most brilliant minds in society
And the all swore to a life time of secrecy
Unlike these blabber mouths celebrities
Today we see a lot of fake groups
Claiming to be part of the illuminati
Rappers, singers, actors, and others
Claims to be part of this conspiracy
They say that the illuminati still exist today
Just to get you to believe it
So the more attention you give to them
It’s better for their financial benefit
The world has change so much today
Most people are free
Science and medical research
Is practice for betterment to humanity?
The animators of Walt Disney
Are using hidden sexual messages
And very hard to notice object
In movies that should of cause an outrage
But Because of the wealth and power of Disney
The news media don’t see the ripple in the wave
And that was never the intentions of Walt Disney
He must be rolling over in his grave
Yes the world is full of corruptions we know
But that doesn’t not mean the illuminati exist
As Simon cowell on American idol will say
To think that “is pure otter rubbish”
Brain-Wash
Sometimes bored
folks talk too much
'bout nonsense or just
useless rubbish and such
Some even say that blabber
gives them calming head rush
Like growling planes on a tailspin
they need a mouthful of brain-wash!

Terza Rima Sonnet On the Boston Marathon bomb blast:
On a festive flag-flapping day of fun
for the victims of blind bombs all over the globe
On a festive flag-flapping day of fun
Two brothers back-packed with hot nails in pipes
White cap leading black cap in marathon
More than two millions’ indoor hemmed in gripes
Nine thousand armed to teeth charged for brother
And six doleful innocent eyes Boston wipes
One misled madly charges a brother
In tether out to die in showdown blast
A last ditch for some ill-tutored blabber
Then while the world looks on in pity aghast
A mindless lad plays out the cult of yore
Some Sohrab takes on the West’s blind bomb blast
If those bright and good be un-taught to adore
What hope may there be for the rest any more.

I know some will dismiss this
As nonsensical chatter
Call it philosophical blabber
Think of it as mind over matter
Ask questions and trash the answers
Because they, quote unquote
Challenge the status quo
It’s insane but I get it
I see life in its totality
See, I have an eye for quality
I see the larger in the microscopic
But sir, you’re running off topic
Your thoughts are clattered
And your responses are scattered
Stick to what you’ve mastered
Take a time, gather together
The fragments of matters that matter
Or risk becoming intellectually stagnant
I present a challenge to the status quo
My talk ousters popular prejudice
I challenge responses to clichés and quotes
My thought pushes the envelopes
Of commonly accepted notions
Upsets notations and connotations
And focuses on promotion
I’m no prophet but I promise
This message will bring some profit
May the reader understand
I’m not trying to frustrate or flatter
I’m not trying to understate
I’m trying to highlight some items that matter
But, if you ask, it doesn’t matter
Accept or reject, I will not be bothered
I’ve been rejected before, slaughtered
On the altar of convenience
Offered to the highest bidder
Priced according to physical relevance
Since my record was insignificant
I was given away for free
Treated like the ultimate freak
Because from a purely human point of view
I was nothing, not worth a moment’s review
A wall marked with obscenities and graffiti
A scrub, strutting, fronting like I was something
When I was nothing,
Residue from a mafia-type system
Until my debt was paid and personal status
Updated from non-valid to valid
From worthless to earnest
And thanks
To the cry that broke through the sky
And vanished my crime and gave me a sign
It was the stitch in time that saved nine
And now my soul
Bears true signs of the stigmata
