A Truth I Speak

I am not always the smartest
Often times I appear not to be smart at all
My mind rambles
My eyes skip words
My lips speak without hesitation
Stumbling over my sentences
Incoherent blabber
I crawl inside myself
Whispering reassurances
They are meaningless phrases
My insecurities wont allow
The possibility that I could believe them
I am discouraged easily
Even my feet are not smart
Clumsy and tripping over air

This verse shows your true intelligence and as Justin Bordner very well put it, your clear awareness of your feelings and who you are. I hope you are encouraged to write more of these thoughts down. Surely you'll find...there are many that feel the same way...you're not alone and you sure expressed yourself well here. I don't know why I haven't looked at your poems before! You are really good! With respect always, Laura

Awareness is more useful than smarts; senseless contradictions can easily unfold from the jealousy of smart reasoning - just keep giving Spirit space move through and in Jay - you have too much audacity to be clumsy as a regular condition my friend - sometimes self doubt is a good medicine for reestablishing our powers - J.A.B. %

OH.....I'm SURE this can't be the case because your words are so adept and skillful, my dear! This was a lovely albeit sad write! Sending you hugs! :)
