Embers of prophecy rise
In the haunting omens of owls
Divining tea leaves
Heralds speak future through opaque signs
And signals of frantic dogs
Before earth heaves in shock of slip strikes
Or the coming of rainbows
Born from sun and blackness.

Gossamer angels bend over vanishing logic,
Brooding envoys of dark horses
In clouds of fireflies or heresies,
Burned at the stake of mineral, mist or ice.

Messenger, from the mystical, utters the unseen,
The face of mute words, allegories in shrouds
Calling to fabled grails, emerge from mystery.

Heraldic voice stands outside algorithms
Wears a clear cloak named vision or terror
A visage drifting through past or dawn
In images without bones,
Unshakable the slow creeping spice
Built on shape shifting tides
Like mist from cloud castles
Before seeking birth in the hands
Of reality’s fiction.

Premium Member The Mad Rush

Quickly He ran dropping his pants in a mad rush!
Bush's Beans for lunch, a build up of gas for old Gus!
His ass hit the toilet seat so fast!
Outward came a disturbing loud blast!
The house shook, the dog growled, and the wife blushed!

The neighbors called 911, they are on their way!
The fireman rushed in, put on their gas mask right away!
He got up, and asked, "What is all the fuss?
The fireman said, " You blew up the house Gus"
"Now bend over." They sprayed Glade, and called it a day.

Did you think it was
going to be about
mad rush shopping
on black Friday? lol

Premium Member Thank You

They gave our children mind altering
poisonous drugs to eat,
and we said thank you.
They gave our children excessive violence
and sadistic sex films to see,
and we said thank you.
They performed mutilating surgery
on our children’s' genitals, and we said
thank you.
They turned public education into
propaganda and indoctrination,
they blasphemed God and Faith,
they took away our free speech,
took away our free and fair elections,
murdered children about to be born,
telling us to bend over again
this next election --
thank you
thank you
thank you

pull out all the stops
keep your shoulder to the wheel
go the extra mile

bust your chops sweat blood
work your fingers to the bone
bend over backwards

go to great lengths put
your heart and soul into it
and work like a dog

go at it hammer
and tongs roll up your sleeves do
the heavy lifting

put your nose to the
grindstone put in the hours
break your back

Moon

The dark is not scary
You are just as bright as the sun
But in darkness you illuminate
The tallest of trees
Whisper sweet dreams
Lull the people in their beds to sleep
And hold all the secrets of the night
Moving through the phases of my life
One cycle at a time

Monsters come awake in your light
And flowers bend over,
Ready for the much needed escape
From treacherous humidity
My hair thanks you for cooling the air
And moving the tide
Now I can finally tie my curls down with a silk scarf
And sleep in your radiance

Premium Member Doctor Strange Glove

Just last night I awoke from a dream
Sat up in bed and started to scream
Like a funeral pyre
It set my hole on fire
I sure could use some hemorrhoid cream

But I went to the doctor instead
He told me to bend over the bed
Before anyone knew
It dropped down to my shoe
And sat there looking swollen and red

The doctor said I'll give it a shot
But it's going to hurt you a lot
That's when he scratched his head
Tossed it up on the bed
And then tied the damn thing in a knot

Limbo

Limbo
Hunched over and holding a Zimmer frame
Limbo
Waiting for a call that is never - ever going to come
Limbo
The day draws nearer as the blinds on the window begin to shut sealed
Limbo
That's what they call it, hanging on every single word and action
Limbo
Bend over backwards. Don't bother in even trying. You're bent over now.
Limbo
Pull that duvet and run a bath and play some music
Limbo
Don't listen, just watch. Watch my lips move up and down in slow motion to the rhythm of this beat
Limbo
Don't bother in even trying. It is all done now. It has already gone by and it is told and told to whoever passes you by

Premium Member A Woman in a Pale Green Dress

A woman in a pale green dress
On a pier, with her handbag
Tide is going to progress
Waves roll faster, lowered flag
Slightly quivers on the wind
Someone orders the high tea
A lifeline wasn’t firmly pinned
Now it’s bobbling in the sea
Sunlight weakens, sky gets grayer
Waiters with their trays go by,
Serving reasons for a prayer
But one's memory won’t try
Then you bend, over the table,
Smiling, whispering in my ear
And a horn blows, I’m unable
Your sweet joking words to hear.

Premium Member My Encounter Today

This morning when I got up, I went out side to bring in the garbage can. As I approach the side walk, on the other side was a man with a long beard covering his face, even longer than mine. He was bend over like in great pain with vomit on his beard. As I approach him I ask him do he needed help and do he want me to call 911, he said no. As I looked into his eyes they seemed to be clear and he had a quiet smile on his face. I couldn't leave him without helping in some way, so I gave him some finance to help where he would be able to buy some food.
I said to myself, we have food inside the house, so I quickly when inside to the house to make up a package to give to him, but when I came back out side he was gone, no were insight.
I don't know how well this note is written or whether every punctuation is placed correctly, but I am saying this to encourage you. Some times the Lord allow someone to come across your pass and it's up to you to do what you feel in your heart to do (and maybe He send an angel across your past).
When you do something for a person in need, do it not reluctantly or under compulsion and God will reward you accordingly.
(2 Corinthians 9:7)

Just a Number

Just a number
My age is just a number right ?
So what are all these changes ?
Sleep seems to come so soon at night.
My eyes don’t see as clearly.
Speak louder , I can’t hear you deary!
My back hurts when I bend over ,
It seems like I move much slower.
And all these things I used to remember ,
Now it seems like I can’t get it together !
But age is just a number .

Premium Member Sweet Crickets

Sweet crickets, the tune
You’re playing tempts me to sleep.
By your tune, I will drift off
Better to a place dark and deep.
The low moon and toads
As well as I are your audience.
Why, even the saguaro blooms
Have opened with interest!
The night will soon bend over
And kiss my eyelids closed.
From Earth’s port into the sky
Of oblivion, I will go.
But should I judge your tune
To be my favorite solace
Promise me you’ll return
One night to play for me again.

This World's Deceptions

THIS WORLD'S DECEPTIONS
Let go of this world, my friend
Your choices lead to your fate
Get out of its tangled web
Get out before it's too late
````````````````````````````
Guard your eyes and ears today
And even your touch and your taste
There's a foe who wants you destroyed
Don't let your life come to waste
```````````````````````````````
Turn your eyes heavenward, friend
Devour the Bible with tears
Bend over backward to find
What will remedy all of our fears
``````````````````````````````````````
The Creator who made us still lives
He is ready to lead us away
From all of this world's deceptions
If we only let Him bear sway
`````````````````````````````````````
He knows just what we are needing
What will bring true joy and peace
So let Him do all the leading
Then all evil and suffering will cease

Premium Member All That Light

I awoke to her smile and her blinding light
when it came to heart and soul she was out of sight
Shadows of trees bend over in effort to enlighten her
but all they did was caress her cheek, for she could not incur
As different as the stars and the moon, she was unique
she heard sounds and things so loud they would yell not speak,
she felt at the power of God's caress though others in stoic ways
immersed her in chaos, as they served her only betrayals;
Until she was identified by what made her different and quite sharp
then at the cutting edge of life, she became a blessing a soft harp
I awoke to her comment, I can feel her silent acceptance and smile
Oh Julie Rodeheaver, you sure know how to write poetry in style
Take care and know that I appreciate you,
but God loves you !!!!!!

written in honor of Julie Rodeheaver
ps, I'm proud of you and who you are

Bow your head down Aries .
Bend over.
Not out weakness,
Because  of love of yours.

Emphasize defiance
By containing an unbearable burden,
Not comprehended by anyone yet.
