By Poet "Our memories fill yesterday. Today our dreams will fill tomorrow."
Will my dream be here tomorrow?
A cool breeze does softy blow,
over me as if I will know.
Into deeper sleep I must go,
what will my dream now show?
I am still from head to toe,
feeling like I am aglow.
Another world I will go.
Within a dream what will I see?
A huge yellow bumble bee,
she was eating crackers and brie.
From this dream I want to flee,
please oh - please set me free.
My bed is now wet - I did pee,
let me out I will plea.
Now awake one, two, three.
My dream within a dream,
was it just too extreme?
It made me pee then scream,
what a very wild dream theme.
The bee rode a leaf downstream,
what a weird bee daydream.
Through the trees I saw a sunbeam,
the bright light looks like ice cream.
Now waking up with self esteem.
soft bed of roses
evokes dreams of happiness...
yet beware of thorns:
opinions, overthinking
can often lead to sadness
sun now goes to bed,
sky shows pretty shades of pink,
a sight to behold.
As the sun sets in the evening sky,
the pretty blue turns pink.
Oh my,
I am pink for the clouds to drink.
The moon must go to bed,
the sun must come out to play.
Marshmallow clouds meet the sun's rays,
I am pink showing off this new day.
Bed how I love thee
Let me count the ways ….
Always ready when I am sleepy
And in need to rest my weary bones
You keep me warm and cosy
Are the best company when l feel alone
You comfort me when I am unwell
Help me to mend and heal
Are there when I need to escape the world,
When life's worries and woes I feel
When nature is raging outside
You make me feel safe and secure
With my head under the covers
You protect and reassure
I share you with the one who holds my heart
You have watched my child grow
Many tears and much laughter you have heard
Private thoughts and discussions you know
You are a great keeper of my secrets
You know the real me
Supportive, available and inviting
Bed how I love thee ……
Orange red the yellow;
Brown cow moo-ed
While white pigeons grin;
Grapes and raisins beloid;
From deep purple to blue;
Varies rainbow glitters;
Kaleidoscopic mixes strange bed-fellows;

Spoke to a bloke
from Blighty
whose wife
wouldn't wear a nightie
when she rolled over
he told me
her ankles were tangled
then turned back
her throat strangled
all the more
'I can't retire' she sleepily said
so instead she wore
bloomers to bed

Your breath is my quilt -
the ghost between sleep and wake.
Your touch, my alarm.

I never thought about this time,
Neither I planned it,
And here I am;
Inside of a wave,
That’s pushing me by.
And the fight is reigning,
Even though I’d never wanted to war;
And the tears are falling,
Even though I never thought I wanted to cry.
The veil of the night,
It’s covering my eyes,
And the voice of despair;
Leaves me alone,
In a bed made of ice.
'twas on a matopoeic morn
woken by the crack of dawn
fell out of bed
'pon my head
feeling floored
and quite forlorn
but yet again
all at sea
afloat on board a boat
by an ocean wave
my sleep was wrecked
when debunked
and then decked
Willy the wannabee Wallaby went
To visit his sweet, sick aunt Millicent
He met a dingo who said,
Don’t look for Millie in bed,
Relish her in my belly with free rent!
Lift the champagne glass for a toast,
Make the night sparkle with delight.
Neither of us will sleep till dawn—
On our bed, love waits patiently.
Please, let’s not break the vow we made.
