Generally, I am on
the Clean Side; but,
garden soil is my
rich exception --

I wallow in it,
a piggy for the scent
and feel --

Sort of like, training
wheels on bicycles
are for sissies,

glove-less, I dip and
knead; saturate and
soak. Claw! Compact!
Sniff the compost,
deeply investing with
bacteria: praising, composing
a reverent hymn, How gloriously
Efficient Is Nature!~ our
Mother recycling, wasting
nothing, reusing all,
earth gripping back my hand,

a bargain seal of the grave --

Caught in a spotlight from a star
Long time ago extinguished
Isn’t it good to see so far
A mirrored image finished
This view relates to time I guess
If one looks from the star side
A planet Earth must be a mess
That long ago has died
Time works like turning of the key
It opens lots of spaces
I borrowed little time for me
To let me see through faces
One day a Faustian bargain
We’re forced to make, before we go
Each ounce of dust looks quite the same
Is this important thing to know?

The Devil Doesn't Bargain

You're in my head again, it's been awhile since you've stopped in
It would be a lie to say I missed you
There's no point in missing something that keeps you so thin

You always appear at the worst times
It's a familiar knock at the door
And sometimes I think you're here to kill me
Because oftentimes there's nothing left to take from me anymore.
I’m being selfish though, people would murder for my body

I could try and not to answer the door but you always find a way to me
And sometimes ignoring, is a deadly price to pay

I'm quite good at it though, because I always let you stay
Keep a sealed mouth so nobody starts to worry
My weight is dropping, My body's freezing, I fainted twice today
I knew I had a problem when I was just trying to make it through the day

I'm getting awfully tired now, Dancing with the devil
Seeing how long I can make it until my body begins to crumble

Casket or cure?
I won't know until I know
What's worse than losing a game that you never intended to play?
Fighting the devil at another shot to stay
While holding losing cards, knowing I'll never win
It's just the price you pay when you want to be thin

Devil Doesn't Bargain

His charm.
His physique.
His humor.
All things that a girl would love.
All things that would make a girl obsessed.
That’s exactly what happened to me.
I got obsessed, I fell in love.
Little did I know,
I was in love with the devil.
They say the devil comes as your greatest desire.
Mine was love, and he used that.
He brought this boy into my life,
made me fall in love, get obsessed,
get attached,
just to have him break my heart.
I begged him to never leave me,
but the devil doesn’t bargain.
Especially with a weak little girl,
who only wants to be loved.

Devil's Bargain

In the shadow of death, his darkest secrets hide,
A devil’s bargain, where foul hidden dangers lie.
His vile whisper in the night, a most sinister plea,
Temptation’s dance calling, “Come waltz with me!”

His eyes as black as coal, with his sly, wicked grin,
The devil beckons you close; then he lures you in.
A Faustian deal to strike, with willing souls to sell,
For abundance of power, and untold riches as well.

O mortal hearts, O please heed all these warnings,
The devil’s deals are so hard, even for his darlings.
For momentary wealth, fleeting powers, and fame,
You trade your eternal soul, for perpetual flames.

The cost is too high, forever too long, fire too severe,
Weeping, gnashing of teeth, while you writhe in fear.
A devil’s bargain, the broadest primrose path of sin,
It will leave you with nothing, save darkness within.

So forbear the appeal, of the devil’s treacherous deeds,
But choose God’s light instead, if your soul is in need.
Take some advice, sage words from this wannabe poet,
A devil’s bargain lures assent, before you even know it.

Came back for no good reason, other than making a splash
Recoiling in horror, when my demons emit a flash
Anointed by unholy chrism, absolves me from the trash
Can oil ever be sacred, when not making ready cash

So would heaven be enough, if eternal less one day
It's said hell lasts forever, burning plasma if we stray
I belong in purgatory, in its orbit i'll stay
Even a rogue event horizon, couldn't drag me away

Innards will remain hidden, til grotesquely overblown
A hungry mouth sets up residence, seeking a new home
Put two and two together, you see the vision i've sown
A metaphorical language, this tongue I call my own

In the end love conquers all, even love tainted by hate
I loath its taste in my mouth, pity I’m hooked on the bait

We took our chance with trance,
nurturing dark desires,
holding dear mirrored fear,
overcome by despair,
with nothing left to cheer.

We took our chance with trance,
descending from heaven,
conjuring an ego,
living in a dream world,
we’re now loathe to let go.

We took our chance with trance,
negating pulse of love
for momentary gain
and lost in the shadows,
we’re bound to our thought chain.

We took our chance with trance
but now seek soul’s freedom,
to reclaim inner light,
so to this end we bend,
in time graced by clear sight.

The Devils Bargain

The life of a man is fraught with sorrow,
a war of conscience with no tomorrow.

The days of roses when summers would last,
young men and women and the love they cast.

Families struggle with silent issues,
a lifetime of tears and endless tissues.

Relief comes when it's buried in the ground,
the secret is thrown where it's never found.

The victims sleeping soundly in their bed,
dreaming of the love that someone once said!

The Shopper

I am a shopper
That’s what I claim to be
Just look in my closet
And you’ll have to agree
Penney’s, Kohl’s and TJMaxx
Oh, how I wish you didn’t charge tax
You have the power to make my day
I search for a bargain
And never dismay
When I find an aisle
With a good array
I smile and say hooray
This is the way
I like to spend my day

A fool and his money, soon parted
Financial advisor down-hearted
Great offer you see
Buy two, pay for three
A dozen I bought to get started

The Bargain

I was an Angel once
Jealous of mankind
Jealous of their lofty dreams
Their overconfidence
How could they aspire
to such greatness
With so many limitations

Yes I was jealous
For Angels do not know passion
We are sexless creatures
Love is but an idea
Our heart’s have a formless void

We have to many hours
Nothing of note occupies our minds
Sure our Father gave us wings
We possess great strength
We can control the winds
Still we do not have His full favour
That belongs to the humans

What is an Eternity without dreams?
We have no need of sleep
Gluttony has no sway without appetite
I possessed no great ambition
My one purpose
My only purpose
To protect the humans
Those oblivious beings
Even those who did not believe

So dear friend
I made a bargain
Choosing to change places
Him, he always wanted to fly
Eternal life added to the bargain

Fifty years go by so quickly
I did not know about aches and pains
Love and passion were fleeting things
My ambition was blind
Now I am destined to meet my brother
The Angel of Death will come for me
He will not recognize me
For I relinquished my wings.

Squeeze into the crowd
For snatching the right bargain
Early bird catches the worm
Squeeze into the crowd
For Chinese kung fu acting
Selling magic medicated oil
One day the crowd becomes diminishing
With SOP
Another day it starts to grow again
When people become careless
With the opening of the borders
It will grow further and further
The scenery, the food, the shopping delight
All will draw them closer and closer
The crowd becomes bigger and bigger
Surely not only a sign of prosperity
But also a sign of danger
As crowding means no distancing
Not encouraged in SOP
Sometimes we have to interpret a situation with wisdom
Life is totally different today
A lot of things carry double meanings
And so goes the prayer
Dear friends
Please don't ever let me down
