We all started life a sheath of blank pages
Able to be shaped into anything.
Paper aeroplanes, an artist’s canvas, a library book.
Our parents determine what kind of paper we are
-Cardstock, coloured tissue or plain white sheets.
As we grow, our friends, our families, our teachers
Etch the ink into us,
Page by page, letter by letter
Building up our childhoods.
We felt everyone knew better than us,
(and perhaps they did)
So, we obeyed, listened and absorbed everything
-morals, actions, behaviours-
Until attentiveness turned into reticence,
Til compliance became blind trust.
We trusted everyone by our sides, trusted what they said,
What they told us to do.
Until we realised we shouldn’t.
Nobody had ever showed us
The callous hands that tore instead of turned,
Ripping out our pages for their own.
Nobody showed us what it felt like
To have your story stolen,
To feel oneself drown beneath another’s ink.
Now I have just one question
How do I rewrite what was burned?

When I chose to be a witch, I gave up true love
I love to be alone, 'cause eventually people really bug
There is too many mind-games & selfishness in humanity
Thanks, but no thanks - I wanna keep my sanity
Everyone's always in it in the end for just themselves
There are way too many far too gone - they can't be helped
I believe that those that do not bring to the table - don't play
And when the times get rough - they never do stay
When bickering begins, there's much too much of each other
(I'm sure you wish you were doing another)
Like she once told me - when the cat is given - they change
But once you catch on - they then become enraged
If it's not their way, it's no way at all
(Says the motherfvcker, too afraid to fall)
Love is oh so temporary - and only convenient for the moment
If it's gonna be forever in your eyes - then fvcking show it
Compromise, show attentiveness - do little things
'Cause everyone knows what a healthy companionship brings
Quit going into something new - thinking they're like your ex
Why not give everyone new a chance - then see what's next?

When an old love of mine withdrew from me,
I hadn’t quite noticed it at first.
Like a flower pressed between
two pages in a book,
the fading of his love I now can clearly see.
At first, love was a rose deep ruby red.
Never could I think that it would end.
Bright and beautiful was my love’s attentiveness to me,
but little by little,
the red rose lost its vivid hue.
Love notes stopped appearing
from places where he always used to leave them.
Our times together slowly had decreased.
My attempts to spark romance
were less and less reciprocated.
The day my love said farewell to me,
I opened the book to see the rose
I’d hoped would stay passionately red.
What met my eyes
was gray.
Oh, dwindled love that cannot flourish.
No matter if I tried to preserve it,
dull gray had become its vanishing point.
His love for me was then
beyond revival.

Attentiveness is the currency of life & to flow
it needs your permission
It can't flow without you within its wave
so, you must control your attention
Our observation is a key to the doors of the many
mansions available to you
Unlock your dreams by awakening to this as many
doors are in need of walking through
Sleepwalking is an action of the blind & many are
living life with closed eyes
Their perception has been blocked by narrow thinking
leaving the mind in a state of compromise
This dream is as real as any other & you are water
in a world solidified
Tithes are paid with the flow of your attention so
keep track of the direction of your tides
Avert the eyes to dismiss the undesired for this is
needed to avoid sinking ships
When you drop anchors at the point of fluid focus
the results are really hard to miss

“Noticing the ebb and flow of all external and internal movement held in the womb of ever present silence, is what we may term as mindfulness or term as attentiveness or simply awake awareness”
~ quote by poet
the void of each polarity interchange
what is it but vibrant stillness of the bardo
it is but a flicker but if we choose to notice it
emptiness is the true nature of all manifestation
the waves of the ocean continue to ebb and flow
thought patterns too spiral about in our mind
borne of course by desire to feel contrast
which is what this life is really about
pristine presence, playful and carefree
embraces and releases each offering graced
feeling without clinging, leaving behind no residue
rekindling breath by breath, vibrancy in nonchalance

SADNESS
Sadness is as a burden of a whole City
And worry, a skillful hunter of the mind's happiness,
With nothing to enlighten, but tiny ignorant voices,
initiating desolation in my lost but reviving mind
And stirring a battle in my soul's calm.
But still, I see a glimpse of light, a ray of comfort, for if so, i shall embrace.
Hence, how will I unladen or quench of myself the roars that seek to rid me of my attentiveness, for if with my worries and doubts what shall be of me but pains?
So i reach out to the hands of nature's calm and earth’s comfort
For I shall plead to myself to find my own peace amid these fears.

Foremost Karma I've finally learned a thing or two about
Karma that he/she is a force to be reckoned with, Let me
introduce to Karma, and I will predetermine one's twist of
fate, there are rules of this you must go in pursuit of to act
accordingly or there will be consequences. I am Karma, I'm
not biased, I give careful attentiveness to every person, I
am Karma and I expect you to regard every person with
politeness, respect, and goodwill. I am Karma today, tomorrow
and forever.

the park is abandoned
my heart is abandoned
our fresh start is abandoned
i take an honest picture of myself
i never treated you the best
i never treated myself the best
everyday i failed the test
i admit that i do not deserve her
she found herself a man and left this uneducated boy behind
i am proud of her and i congratulate her for she is in a better place
i made her life hell by being to into myself and not supporting her at all
i made her life hell by my denial of my narcissism and my lack of attentiveness to her
when i see her so full of happiness and so full of love, i feel nothing but proud and nothing but happy for her
i also feel personal growth because and am learning to learn and evolving to evolve
one day i will get it right
one day i will win the fight
one day my rehabilitated heart will correctly take flight
until then, happy valentines day to my broken heart
this one would have been our tenth year together
i guess i will celebrate with the air of the memories
for like mister in that purple movie, that is all i have to lean on now

~ The Tzaddik ~
A 'Tzaddik,' normally translated as a 'Righteous Man,'
is so much more than that. I think of a 'Tzaddik' as a
selfless holy man, who exists only for others. If you've
ever met one, you'll recognize him in the poem below...
You can’t put your finger on it
or think of its synonym
Yet the instant he spots you
there’s something special about him
It’s in his smile that greets you
his attentiveness when you speak
He exists only for you, for your deepest needs
though you may be unassertive and weak
He introduces others to you with a shine on his face
that he transfers to you with effortless grace
You will never forget him, nor he you
for you’ve just met a tzaddik, whose love has touched you

Walking becoming overcoming.
Orion becomes Jesus walking on water.
Trek trudge and stumble, taking it in stride.
Bearing a cross of torment and torture.
Struggling slogging shepherding,
slaving in blood mixed tears.
Walking through light and shadow.
Sleep meandering, dreams seamlessly
mingle with stumbling lumbering,
slumbering shamble, ambling ramble.
Roving roaming range, radius reached,
realms always remembered.
Walking the footpath through rainforest.
Sizzling amour fou ardor, fevered fervor.
Lascivious among the leaves,
captive to carnality.
Fleshly forbidden found only
in the taboo soil of impulses.
Walking in the aurora of first light.
Sprinting agape beneath spectral wavy prismatic sky.
Darting dashing driving toward a new day.
Racing rushing for radiant rays wrapping the horizon.
Igniting the dark, blazing the trail in a neonate morning,
advancing the awaiting adventure.
Walking with friends and lovers.
Parading promenading propelled plantigrade.
Globetrotting every continent, every consideration,
every awareness and attentiveness.
The common blanket sweeping overall.
Let the celebration of being begin.

How still is our stillness
Is it unexpectant in attentiveness
Or is there an undercurrent of craving
A feeling that something is lacking
Making our meditation weak
Owing to energy leak
A blockage
That does ravage
Pristinity of our attention
Denying divine connection
How still is our stillness orientation
Is it devoid of memory imagery anticipation
Or do we mitigate the flow
With stuporous thoughts shallow
Attempting to predict outcomes by our will
Instead of allowing divine blessings to overspill
Is our mind cluttered with knowledge & belief
Or are we still giving conditioned thought relief
Is our attention in bubbling bliss in its home
In an unbroken continuum in sync with Ohm

Made me smile, this
Indefatigable Seal, the
Never give up pep talk.
Decision full speed ahead.
Shoulders and pecs magnanimity.
Each word exudes confidence.
The protégé won’t give up!
In the Hudson River currents won’t
Surrender so he goes beyond his sanity.
Ever a reminder of life’s tenacity,
Verifiably insane, but
Every muscle hears his
Raging brain.
Your attentiveness supports
The veterans, the
Heroes. Still my heart, the humbleness
In the Navy whites, pulling for their fellow man.
Never give up in their D.N.A.
God bless the U.S.A.
