Best Attentiveness Poems

I'm that my words and pen can't express my weakness.
Nobody could have foreseen I felt such happiness.
My bald secret is now included in my poetic liveness.
I'm at a loss for words to define my soulfulness.

All that I do for you is for you and your uniqueness.
To be clear, you were born to bestow our joyfulness.
Had sent a blessing to us thanks to God's holiness.
Son, you depict nicely how a son may have lightness.

My duty will always be to offer you matchless.
If you're in the lamest rule, you deserve my promptness.
You lifted my artwork to an extreme level of skillfulness.
Everywhere I fit, you seem to follow me with firmness.

Regardless of where I am or how I manage my illness.
The ghost that lurks within me is a mystic elusiveness.
Of inspiration and creativity that is in my mind flawless.
It just takes one look to confer my focus and cleanliness.

Claim anything you envy, but don't leave me clueless.
Yet, I am aware of how grateful you are for my lavishness.
Even the urge to craft your own way has uniqueness.
With all my resources, knowledge, and awareness.

All have a role to play in preserving our rising family spotless.
Sway to the beat of my soul and embrace my closeness
Allow yourself to widen your eyes; your destiny will be harmless.
I drew the full moon for you to retain your greatness.

Without question, I admire you for your graciousness.
My son, I'll outline your disparity and avail your tactfulness.
I meant to say that you sparked my thoughtfulness.
Consider that I'm always aware of your level of attentiveness.

I can tell from our relationship around gleefulness.
Even if I die, you will have a piece of my warm-heartedness.

I sit and watch.

Changes come so slowly.
So, vigilance is required,
an attentiveness to minutia.
There are layers of wardings
erected between
the watch and I.

Thoughts, which flit and skitter
fight for outward movement.
Flesh that is too weak to hold attention,
leans toward the walls of cracks;
where even the plaster pulls
from its sheaf
and the dirty
double paned glass
waylays the eye.

Enthralled by the changes:
rain to sleet, to snow, to hail, to rain,
the maple buds leaving
their pointillist, rouge-lacquered shells,
dropping like the wings
of an emergent butterfly; I root.

Nights of storm-slapped branches
unfurl orchestrated by wind –
How the maple now dangles leaves like earrings
from the tips of the smallest twigs.
Tomorrow they will open
to palm the morning breeze
and welcome the spears of Lilly of the Valley,
as they emerge overnight beneath the mother tree.

The deer have eaten the tender,
green, tongue-rolled, delights of Hosta and Day Lily,
but they are stalwart plants and will return.
I’ve watched and watched but not seen the deer
though I have seen their bedding spots
among the mulch beneath the maple
in the winter and their hoof
prints in the snow.

Today, I will watch
temperatures are rising
and soon there will be

lilacs.

Why Women Cheat

Why do women cheat?
Is it unintact relationships
Just looking to be swept off their feet
In search of intamacy or just
sympathy

More Physical attraction
Is status or attentiveness
Are they looking for a one night
stand...no wait a minute
Thats a man

A unfaithful man causes emotional
damage that with time can be healed
Women seek relationships with
intent of revenge or to replace
With no conscience of how they
make a us feel.

We men are far from perfect
We break up many of homes
When we are the victims
We can only blame ourselves
So dont gripe or groan

To a woman we are always the
cause
Either we dont make them
happy,make them feel special,dont
listen,or flat out dont seem to care

All could have been saved showing
her that you care with opening of a
door,heart to heart conversation,
sharing an intamate kiss and
breathed the same air

Faith, love, loyalty
Honor,courage,commitment
Is what all relationhip should never
lack
It will then go to shambles
That will be the cause or reasons To
get you heart ripped from your chest
and stabbed in the back

Masculinity - My Animus

Though female, animus dwells deep in me
with strengths of leadership and business sense,
in being ruled by productivity
in ways that show command without pretense.

Assertiveness, decisiveness occurs
within the realm of varied business skills
where mathematics flair robustly stirs
accounting chores, like income taxes, bills.

Supportive instincts move within my soul,
the need to organize and plan with care.
Investment and financial smart control,
with honed computer skills, help me prepare.

A steady love of deep protective kind
that speaks commitment and strong loyalty,
focused attentiveness, resolve combined;
these are the traits of animus in me.

My animus serves well on business side.
My anima, artistic gifts provide.

Premium Member The Dad Mantra

Nobody said life was going to be fair,
is the mantra of many a Dad;
But that’s no excuse to bully your child
just because your day was bad.

Divorce yourself from the outside world
when you walk into your home;
Your children deserve your attentiveness
untethered from the mobile phone.

Show your children you are interested in them
and that you really care,
This may not be easy, but, after all,
nobody said life was going to be fair.

Premium Member A Spring To Summer Romance

he was not my type
but by the time it was spring
i wore that man's ring

once he wore me down
i flowered in the garden
of his sweet attentiveness
but began to droop
in the absence of his care. . . .
July’s drought was hard to bear

that ring he gave me -
cheap like his lackluster love -
broke in mid-august

Where Are You When I Need You

Don’t pretend to understand me
When your frustration and anger, comes first
Don’t pretend to nod and listen
When all you hear, is what you want
You treat me as if I am a brainless idiot!
Blaming me because I don’t agree with you
Because I won’t let you control me
I am a big girl living an independent life
So, don’t pretend to know how I feel
When you only believe the lies you convince yourself, I am

Don’t say you love me, when your ego takes precedence over my feelings
Dreaming of what you want us to be
Dreaming of me, from a far
Leaving me alone, to problem solve, on my own
I do this to show I care
To show you I am responsible
All I want is for us to be on the same page, sharing our love again
Laughing, kissing
I need your love and attentiveness
I need to feel your nurturing warmth
Instead of taking it away from me
Knowing my vulnerabilities
Deliberately hurting me
You told me you were my knight in shining armour
Where are you, when I need you?

Woman

It's not the length of your heels
and the ability to walk them that
defines your strength.....
It's when your courage has
been blistered and made
swollen by life's odd yet you still
continue walking like you've just
started.

It's not your colorblocking
eyeshadows and mascaras that
exude your motherly care.....
It's your cry and compassion in
your eyes for the man in the
street without a home, the child
on a winter's day without shoes
on his feet.
It's the cry for that family
without food.
It's your will to want to embrace
the stranger passing by the
wayside of the road.

It's not your lengthy earrings
that display your
attentiveness......
It's when you want to
understand the next person's
story, be it a fellow taxiseat
neighbour, fellow worker, fellow
stranger you just met.

It's not the golden, bronze,
shiny bracelets and bangles that
display your inner strength.....
It's your ability to carry other
people's load yet you still have
your own to consider.

Woman!
You are not defined by your skin
type, latest trend, make-up and
all that.
You are beautiful already......
You have been adorned with
beauty on the inside

Woman!
Your strength is within,
Let it out.....Let it out.
Yes, put on your stilletos,
eyeshadows, mascaras,
earrings......
Put on your golden, bronze,
shiny bracelets and bangles
But do not....
I say again do not let it shadow
your inner beauty

Butterfly Child

Breeze is gentle over a path dappled in sunshine
as child runs around the garden no sense of mischief
chases a butterfly flitting by capricious as the wind.

Now she stands very quiet and still,
as if caught in the split second of a near-trance,
butterfly ceases its flight to perch on her nose.

Child and butterfly - alike in a separate attentiveness,
balanced and held in equilibrium by a nip of nature,
an eternity snatched in a rare and precious moment.

Bleeding Rose

Scatters of petals with a metallic scent
Warped into the fresh dried vermilion of raze
Distressing thorns pierced a menacing dent
The disturbance of a worm was brought to erase

The very so loathsome fate that she despise
Lured in pounding agony and heart attacks
Reality or nightmares, her pumping veins lie
Dreaming or craving, her throbbing heart cracks

Dripping blood and leaking tears
Her bias bloom has yet to be sought
Never has she found a rose so bitterly endear
Not a return of attentiveness was ever brought

Nympheta

Beginning to be caught up in a state of evanescere
I began to fade to black
Despair begins to run amok
Forging her face from the fairest spector of weaving maidens
A polished perverted phantasm
In the mist of a slumber
Lying on a blanket of within temptations
Becoming enticed by sexual covet
A Nympheta hung by impulse
I was hooked by her resolution
Strung like Cupid's bow
Impaled by hankering arrows
Now starting the metamorphosis of flaring passion
Binding the corners of attentiveness
Like Black Swans being lead to the river
Paving the way for fair enchantment
Persuaded by her mesmeric disrobe
Strolling on golden days, dancing her to the moon

Diamonds of Tenderness

I was barricaded by destruction and liberated by loss….

.....there you were…

One stare at you has broken through my wretchedness and distress,
one touch from you redirected my fierceness and turned off my loneliness.

I used to wake up in gloom and because of you I sleep in contentedness,
your fire killed all my fumes and I keep walking inside your completeness.

After all my dreaded seasons I buried my demons in your kindliness,
for all the wrong reasons I enjoyed my grievance within my consciousness.

My longing for your hunger resides in between your purity of liveliness,
I used to have an appetite with lies and fearing routines towards my childishness.

Now I am reborn because you crave my desire within your attentiveness,
I have sworn my fidelity turning my lonely sapphires into diamonds of tenderness.

Premium Member The Tzaddik

~ The Tzaddik ~

A 'Tzaddik,' normally translated as a 'Righteous Man,'
is so much more than that. I think of a 'Tzaddik' as a
selfless holy man, who exists only for others. If you've
ever met one, you'll recognize him in the poem below...

You can’t put your finger on it
       or think of its synonym
Yet the instant he spots you
       there’s something special about him

It’s in his smile that greets you
       his attentiveness when you speak
He exists only for you, for your deepest needs
though you may be unassertive and weak

He introduces others to you with a shine on his face
that he transfers to you with effortless grace
You will never forget him, nor he you
for you’ve just met a tzaddik, whose love has touched you
