Premium Member Dark Dark Red Roses

I remember when
love spoken plainly
conveyed all manner
of hidden agendas
hands instead of
tap dancing keys
unlocked
a body of work
stroked skin melting into
sultry deep pink summer satin
caressed with a racing
velvet lipped kiss
smelling the other
hint of warm leather
dived deep
swimming freestyle along
the undulating waves
towards the pulse
at the base of a throat
then, down towards
the place where the
heart beats fluttering
signs read
a welcome
bend in the road,
before heading south
reverse the journey north,
just at that place
where a whisper
can be heard
under the ear,
the hint of freshly
cut silver grass and
dark dark red roses
the tongue becomes thirsty
for life catching
rivulets like rain
running along curves
dipping into the
unexplored
hollows,
but surely
like a fine wine
that has once
come-of-age,
ready to be
poured into it all,
the law of love
offers no
fast and hard rules,
the field
is wide open
the grass
so much greener

there grow
the exotic blue orchids
bending into and over
all those bleeding
dark dark red roses

Women of Beautiful Hearts

Seeing her for the first
time at that place
She was looking very smart ,
Lovely and nicely at their palace.
She is always like a peaceful peacock
Whenever I look at her photos
On my phone play screen.
Yoh! Her beautiful face
Which keep reminding me
about some good times at some public
gardens and beaches.
So kind woman with beautiful heart,
Who cares for some poor neighbours
And some people in needs.
Some women know the really
meaning of humanity....

Yoh! this life
Do good while you still alive
Yes! Life is too long as
No one knows about his "her"future.
When God calls you to rest in peace
It will be your last day on that place.

U and I

We talk all the times
U are my partner in all of the crimes.
There is nothing which can stop us
U and I , we are unstoppable
Unstoppable, me and u

We always get lost in each other eyes
Come together after all the fights.
Nothing is our limit, not even the sky
People come and go in our life
But we will be together all the time.

I heard you were out with some other boy
U said everything I heard was right
But u said u didn't stop loving me
U said no-one can replace me
I said everything is gonna be alright
I have been too at that place few times.
Nothing can tear us apart
We are unbreakable, U and I
Unbreakable, me and u.

We can keep all the lights turn off
We don't need sparkling bae, u and I
This is our relation, we set the bar
U play sweetest melodies for me on guitar
We are forever, U and I
Forever, me and u.

Premium Member A Chance Encounter - Inspired By Haly Smith

I just stopped by to get some gas
And had to go inside to pay.
I met this beautiful, blonde lass
Whose attitude brightened my day.

Everything about her was great,
Her smile, her hair, and her face.
Call it what you will, even fate
That I stopped right then, at that place.

She carried herself with poise.
Her confidence was just that clear.
The rest of my day will have no noise
As I remember that one cashier.

I may never see her again.
And, if I don’t, you can be sure
That I’ll think of her now and then
And my gloomy day will be cured.

True Colors

THE BLOOD HAS SHED
IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME
FEEL THE INTRUDING LEAD

THE DRAINAGE NOT OF MY HANDS
BUT FLOWS DOWN MY BACK
IT WAS ONLY IN THE SANDS
WHERE YOU PLANNED YOUR ATTACK

EXECUTED WITHOUT FLAWS
WITH NO ISSUES AT HAND
YOU DUG DEEP WITH YOUR CLAWS
INTO A FACELESS LAND

YOUR FACE FULL OF LIES
WHEN GREET ME AT THAT PLACE
I SEE THROUGH YOUR DISGUISE
AND REJECT YOUR EMBRACE

THE WOUND YOU TRY TO HEAL
IS NOW A GAPING MAW
YOUR WORDS CAN NEVER CONCEAL
YOUR TRUE COLORS I SAW

Tunnel Vision

I find myself travelling way off in time.
Visiting the deepest recesses of the mind.
Where man-made clocks have no reason or rhyme.
When they suddenly stop and go into rewind.
Mingling in shadows cruel and unkind.

With a roaring sound inside my head.
Along the crazy twists & turns I'm led.
Toward a bright light a far distance ahead.
I hear screams in the darkness from the undead.
And this is what the voices said.

You cannot stay there atop that cloud.
The wind in your ears is much too loud.
Go back down to the earth that is plowed.
Dig deep into the depths where no one is allowed.
Beyond the mist and unrevealing shroud.

At that place within your deepest roots.
You'll be able to see but will be made mute.
When you can no longer hear the flute.
Its the defeaning silence that screams the truth.
If you dare - taste its sweet yet bitter fruit.

The light is not the illusion the voices said.
Its the tunnel that is the illusion instead.

Place

I walk a road.
It leads me to a place I have never seen.
I stop and look at that place, to see if it has glowed.
Looking for some type of glean.

The place I visit is mowed.
I try and make amends with it.
The place moves its own way.
I look at the place and the bits.

The place is old and decrypted now.
I feel kind of gray.
And I wonder how.
The place does too.
I sit there and vow.
To never never figure out who.

A Rugged Piece of Wood

A RUGGED PIECE OF WOOD

A rugged piece of wood became the stable where
Two people came to stay--the only room was there.
A rugged piece of wood became a manger fair;
A Baby soon was born and placed to sleep in there.
A rugged piece of wood the Carpenter would give
A smoothness in the shop where He and Joseph lived.
A rugged piece of wood--the fisher’s boat so strong--
He stood from once to preach to the people all day long.
A rugged piece of wood they took for Him one day
And forced Him down the road to drag it on the way.
A rugged piece of wood now fastened with three spikes
And raised up in the sky, becoming black as night.
A rugged piece of wood, drenched with His precious blood
Became my sin’s paid pardon when I trusted in that flood.
As I looked at that place where once the cross had stood,
I knew salvation’s mine through that rugged piece of wood.
And the blood that He shed there has cleansed my every stain
To give salvation free through faith in Jesus’ Name.
It may seem quite a price, but God said it was good;
He bought salvation there with a rugged piece of wood.

Premium Member If I Let My Mind Meander

If I let my mind meander -
like a river backwards through time -
past rocks and turbulent waters
and also through the calm times
when the surface of that river was smooth as glass -
I go further back to a time
when my life flowed like a stream,
less complex and rolling on with hope.

Always, though, I end up at the source -
at that place of splendid sweetness
where the water was a clear fresh spring
bursting forth to feed the passion
 of a glorious waterfall.
And always I remember you, sweet darling,
as the shimmer of the sunlight
on that fresh and sparkling mountain spring.

Crossing the Street

There the young lady had stood looking from across the street
Being from the neighborhood she looked down upon in deceit
As each she walked by it began to affect her more and more
She knew it was all just a lie as yet another opens that door

As the light turned green she stood there staring at that place
Quiet the odd scene but this lady she had this certain grace
Instead of going straight she suddenly in turn made a right
Even changing just one fate that would shine one more light

Now standing just outside she felt butterflies in her stomach
This she couldn't hide the unnerving true feelings can inflict
But she didn't just leave but instead staying about an hour
When it decides to grieve the soul can carry so much power

She didn't talk to anyone but she didn't judge them either
Content in what she had done she just needed a breather
Tomorrow was another day doing what she was able to do
That night she began to pray, tomorrow maybe she'd see you

If

IF
If I say sorry for a hundred times,
Will you forgive me or you just cry and run,
like I don’t have money will you still be mine?
or are you the type of girl who always wanna have fun
If I say things to you that sounds no true,
Will you believe it so simply because your my boo,
like I don’t have a sleep at night and yet I dream about you,
I’m sure you will give me that look and say mhm!
If I do you wrong, and go down on my knees,
Say that am sorry with a thousand please,
Tell me if you forgive me, or see me as kind of crazy,
and tell your friends you're a reason why I breathe!
If you ask me to take you home,
I will take you to a place where am originally from,
wake up in the morning smell a Cow den,
“Wamishaga hmola” that’s a salam,
tell me if you wish to be at that place even for one time.
were peanut, milk, and michembe are food for grown.

The Visit

I visited you today,
At that place where you lay.
I placed flowers and a picture of you and me at your cold headstone.
As I was leaving, the wind picked up,
Throwing my hair in my tear-filled eyes,
That soon streamed down my face,
I tried to t hold them back,
Soon gave up on that.

I am not who I used to be,
I died along time ago, when you had to pass,
With one lingering question.....
Where is the "good" in this "goodbye?"

I visited you today,
And cried, fighting the tears back.
Trying to figure what good comes from goodbye....

Flowers In My Minds Garden

all i remember are those cold nights when my fingers were ticking on the black pads
describing the way your presence changed the universe inside of me;
planting flowers in my minds garden.
the way you described your desires and thoughts in poetic form were like mine long falling leaves carried by the wind and drawn to the stars.
waiting for that moment to arrive at that place where you would realize that it could've
be me that would whisper those goodnight phrases right into your ear.

Did You Observe It

One day I said to love
Will you be rain
She is speechless !

Next day I expressed to love
Will you be sunshine
She is soundless !

Day after day , I have been requesting her
Will you be sky
Will you be bird
Will you be my pleasure
She is silent !

one day love says to me
You will be soil
And I shall be flower

Thenceforth when the flower kisses to the soil
Memorial of love is created at that place

Did you observe it !

How They See Us From Afar

How they see us from afar.
I saw a planet it was blue,
It had a white tip. and a bottom one too.
The people here are funny lot,
Some like to kill, and some do.
Others destroy, thinking properties a toy.
They can create, so much good.
But they also build killing type stuff.
Tanks, and Mortars, and torture chambers for you.
But hey all so build hospitals too,
What a strange bunch .we see from afar.
They fight and quarrel, for the common good.
Then take their wondered, to be loved.
Oh what miss understood, bunch these are,
I’m glad were looking from afar.
Life on the planet must be mad,
Not knowing, if your happy or sad.
Look at that place over there!
Stay away, stay clear!
Let god our lord, sort them out.
He’s the only one with such clout,
Maybe he can sort them out.
