Contest Description

THERE WILL BE MULTIPLE PLACEMENTS IN THIS WRITING CHALLENGE

What to Submit? 

NEW,  DATED poem on the theme of ............. any theme, for example, life, death, love, family, pets, nature etc etc


Any eight line form -  NO FREE VERSE OR VERSE, RELIGIOUS OR HATE POEMS 

Idea's of forms to use - rhyme, monorhyme, personification, acrostic, list,  triolet, prose, prose poetry, fibonacci (watch that last line, can be tricky as it must fit on one line) haibun, or any other 8 line form you wish to use.  I do not require Iambic Pentameter or any meter.  And I accept perfect and near rhymes but there should be an obvious pattern and if must rhyme on some level.  You should follow the form descriptions except the meter thing which I do not require. Why not get creative with your layout, not a requirement but a challenge !

DO NOT COMBINE FORMS TO MAKE AN EIGHT LINE POEM.

Title is 1-3 words only****requirement

Quotes are allowed on the top of your poem or the bottom, note the author but not if the quote is yours.  This will not be considered part of the eight line requirement.
