As Was Yesterday

As was yesterday, and again today

So will tomorrow be,

Time heals all... that old lie,

Time does not heal me

It hurts as much today as then

The wound still open wide,

How else though could it be

Without you by my side.

I nominate this for POTD. I feel the ache in my gut just reading and re-reading it. Honest Injun, Gary. Terrific! A FAVE for me. Thanks, Gershon
