There Are Those

There are many who have loved and won
Oh, there are those who have loved and lost
Songs abound , win or lose, for each one
Love is the thing - it is not the cost

But no one writes songs for those like me
Not yet a lover, not yet pending
But I am a poet - I am free
Pen to hand I write my own ending
