E'Lan Vitale
The vanity of stars that strive to light the vastness of the sky
Plucked from the blue enigma their beauty makes me joyfully cry
They are distanced too far for our dreaming to contemplate why
This ultimate design is there to teach and mystify
The ego of the sun caresses all within her reach
Yielding her fire to bequeath life to be given or be breached
Her power is omnipotent for all things living to love and reap
And seep within our life's blood to have, hold and keep
