Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem on the theme of What Your Poem Needs Now...any form is acceptable.

I want to try something a little different...I have noticed, in my perusing of this website, some lovely gems that have, for whatever reason, very few or no comments. So this contest is for OLDER poems only, a minimum of TWO WEEKS posted on this website, (and the poem must have the date it was posted) with only TWO comments or less at the time you submit it. Since I can not monitor this, I am asking everyone to follow the honor system for these guidelines. I will do multiple placements for this - I can't guarantee every poem will be placed, but I will place as many as I can.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
