Perpetual Love

If you want your love to last forever turn around midway and walk away to go back in time and frequently savor; Let the flame of love in you eternally burn and let the longing perpetually churn, Wherefore to pine and surfeit day by day and keep the lure of love unfathomable ever. Pluck and cherish a flower in its bloom and let it go as the northern winds blow, holding it too close then ought to doom. To stay young and be loved forever that time and distance never can sever... then pay heed—how it ought to go like retracting steps from a hushed room. ~Posted: 8/29/18 ~For a Michelle Faulkner's contest ~Rhyme Time 6 contest by Laura Loo ~Theme: Perpetual love
