Contest Description
What to Submit?
1. One NEW haiku poem, nature themed only, no human emotions or religious themes.
2. 5 7 5 syllable counts only and in that order.
3. All lower case, including title.
4. Title: One word related to your theme ( example: rose)
5. Date on bottom of poem and what was used to check syllable counts.
Prizes
There will be multiple placements. Please follow 1-5 for placement consideration.
Please note, I am not able to see any photos added to your poems while judging.
I prefer a dash, three dots or ~ after the second line.
Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
A Note to Poetry Contestants
You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
