The beauty of night is reflected in this lovely haiku. :)

'The owl on silent quest '..... it is looking for its prey in the stillness of the night. Somehow I have a fear for owls. Their round rolling eyes and their hoots are frightening !

It seems they like to be close to water. They are such a nice species keep down field mice, snakes, lizards, etc. I have only heard them in flight a few times but the quiet of their movements in flight is fascinating. Reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara

An owl" hunting time is when the moon is bright at night - I love owls we had one in a large pine tree in our ancestral home which we sold three years ago. Good luck in the contest dear friend . Hugs and blessings Jennifer
