What to Submit?
I am a veteran of the USAF-tail end of Vietnam although I never went there.
Please use this picture as inspiration. You do not need to write to it specifically.
I think of all the fallen who have served to save this country. Memorial Day is special.
Any form, rhyme or no rhyme. ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICS!!!!! ANY POEM CONTAINING ANY POLITICS WILL NOT MAKE IT PAST THE FIRST ROUND. This contest is meant to honor those who have given their all for this country. Your poem may be about an ancestor who fought in any of this country's wars be it the Revolution, Civil War, etc....

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
