haibun

Image result for man daydreaming

REALLY

in my mind i dance with nature, accompanyed by gliding swallows, returning on the back of that master aviator, the dragonfly, the tempo increases, it now rocks n rolls with a babbling pond waterfall, a grasshopper stridulating, like a snare drum brushed with wired sticks, day dreaming my eyes agree, now seeing life for real, on my own i sit, well not true a flowerfly sunning on my wrist, i blink it flies away, a foot, it hovers, its buzz telling me at last summer has arrived.

as the days still stretch

the more wildlife they offer

hedgehogs check the lawn
