Waterfall
Listen to poem:
You hear the sound of a waterfall from far off. A solid constant roar that grows in intensity as you get closer. Then, on still days, you often catch a the mist rising above the waterfall emanating from the plunge pool splash and falling water. Like a humble bashful bride, a waterfall hides its stunning and unique beauty under a billowing veil. The falling water is white and sparkling, resplendent like a bridal dress. The roar is like the wedding bells and the music played to the herald the bride's arrival.
the waterfall roars
behind gossamer mist veil
a bashful vain bride.
