Whatever wrong we do comes back to us a hundredfold. I chose this simple experience as a reminder to all.
My grandsons decided they wanted to play a game of UNO, and asked me to join them.
The boys are William 8yrs old, Isaiah 6 yrs. old and Matty 5yrs.old. As we sat down to play this is how it went.
Matty to Isaiah.." You can't play Isaiah, you know you are a loser." Poor Isaiah always lost at games.
Grandma(me)..."Now Matty that was not kind. Let him play."
To Isaiah I said..."Come on Isaiah, you can do it. Don't ever let anyone intimidate you."
So we started to play and within 30 seconds Isiaiah wrapped up the game. He was the winner and in record time.
Matty lost badly and learned a precious lesson that day. He felt ashamed of himself.
To Isaiah I said, " You won Isaiah, wow!!!!"
Isaiah in a (cool as a cucumber )voice..."I know"
Lesson: Watch your words/actions for there is always the consequence.Whatever you wish upon others will always come back to you a hundredfold.
Matty learned his lesson that day and was very ashamed. Isaiah regained his self confidence and went on to win more games and even won a trophy at a fishing Derby. He caught the largest fish weighing 10 pounds.Matty came in second. Bless his heart. William did not win, but being a Nerd, his ego is already too big for his size.(smile.)
Love you all.
